  2. Agreed. The one strength of this Raider defense is the pass rush and we can offset that with a good run game to set up Flacco vs that bad Raiders secondary.
  3. I don't like jump balls... We should try stuff over the middle to Gillmore or Williams.

    It'll be tough to do without Suggs. I do think though that we have a damn good defense.

    I hope we get Freeney. He probably will only rush the passer, but Courtney Upshaw can defend the run well. Of course, freeney won't replace suggs' production or leadership, but he can be a good stop gap situational player.

    Disappointed in the amount of pessimism about the Suggs injury. It is a big loss for sure, but I believe we can overcome. This defense has plenty of talent.

    I agree. I do not like what I'm seeing in this preseason, whether it be injuries, or quality of play. Albeit, it is preseason, and I really don't know what to expect. I was very confident in this team coming into training camp, but now I'm not so sure.

    Receiver will probably be our biggest need heading into the 2016 draft. Steve Smith will probably retire, and that leaves a 2nd year Perriman to be a #1 receiver. All depends on how this year plays out, though. A guy like Marlon Brown or Kamar Aiken could shine.

  11. Free Agency Targets

    I think Crabtree would be a nice under the radar signing for us. He isn't getting much attention in free agency and probably won't command that much money. If we sign him, we can go after a CB, Rb or other position in the 1st round of the draft, then possibly trade up in the second to catch a falling WR (Devin Smith or Sammie Coates possibly). We Then Have, IMO a nice receiving corps with Crabtree, Coates or Smith, SSS, Brow, Camp, etc.

  13. Play calling, the players, and coaching were all horrendous tonight. I really thought we would be fine with Jimmy out, I guess not. Our pass rush disappeared after the 3 straight sacks, and our Offensive line got torn up by a senior citizen. Just pathetic.
