You are probably right, but I have always pictured this nonetheless, as the Ravens media does glean through social media.
The big piece that's not being mentioned is the forum having critical analysis of players, coaches, and the organization while "officially" being linked to the Baltimore Ravens. That can be very conflicting from a media perspective. Too easy to find negative press and/or "near" insider information and evaluations, no matter how off-base they may be.

I know this complain was brought up around the time of the update, and it was said that nothing was going to be done about it. The product on the field contributes but we were probably pushed in this direction as well.
Yes. I feel like it was planned obsolescence.
I personally think and IIRC, when the past format changes to the BaltimoreRavens.com website were enacted, the link to the forums became obscure; initially, I couldn't find the forum/boards link again. I think this change, plus the fact that the Ravens have cast a less that stellar product on the field has definitely led to this board's demise.
Case in point, the "Join the Conversation" link has disappeared on the website, pointing to the ominous sign of the forums going dark. I'm sure many didn't even realize this piece. I'm willing to bet those changes to a more mobile friendly, but less visually spectacular website killed things.
Too bad, as this board was the bees-knees.
There is also:
Extreme Ravens: http://forums.extremeravens.com/
and
Footballs Future: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=8
and
Baltimore Sports and Life (I really like this site): http://www.baltimoresportsandlife.com/forum/index.php?/forum/4-baltimore-ravens/
Of course there are russellstreetreport.com and YBR/scout Ravens forums.
This made me get nostalgic for the original and genesis of why many moved here, the Baltimore Sun sunspot forums.
I may be incorrect, but I think the talk forums on Baltimore Sun may no longer be behind a paywall: http://talk.baltimoresun.com/forum/7-ravens/
I miss those days.
Just start a new Facebook group to create and post topics. It works similar to the boards or move to another board. Russell Street Report, Your Baltimore Ravens (scout), Extreme Ravens, Baltimore Sports and Life.
Your giving way too much credit to this year's draft class. I say 7 make the roster. Two are PS, two will be IR'ed.
Reynolds, Canaday - PS
Moore, Judon - IR

I totally agree. I see high round bust written all over him. He makes up for his deficiencies with his athleticism.

Ravens need to move on and get younger. If they think him an Dumervil can get 20 sacks , Dumervil will will have 19 of them.
Please, man! Doom gets sacks because of Suggs.

We did the same thing with Leach. Juice is an offensive crunch, not a bell cow; and that is a problem.
Having Juice on this squad really kills the opportunity to have a max number of playmakers on the squad. But with that said, Juice really got better and showed something in the last quarter of the season.
They moved Waller to TE because he's not a good enough WR to make the squad at WO. Putting him at TE gives him an opportunity to make the squad in the absence of Boyle. If Waller makes the squad, he will be put on IR once Boyle comes back. Book it.
Camp IS a special player.
You have seen next to nothing of Waller to truly saw who's much better.
Waller has a chance for a few reasons, the most important being he's an actual draft pick. The Ravens have been loyal to their drafted WRs (look at injury prone Camp, Doss, Reed, etc). A Ravens drafted player (Waller) will never be easily cut over another team's undrafted player (Matthews) or even the team's undrafted player (D.Brown) after just his rookie season
Waller sucks.
Matthews took over for Waller on ST.
What is it about Waller that makes ANYONE think he has a shot to make this team next year????? He's a 7th rounder and he is a developmental player. Camparnero is wayyyy better. Matthews is much better. If Camp is healthy though training camp, he will be on the team.
Don't you think the Ravens learned this year what you get out of developmental players???
Why do we never play New England or Dallas at home?
Butler is playing lights out. He is the current #2 receiver for the Ravens. You forgot about him.
Clay is probably the odd man out when Camp comes back. Waller will be cut.
SSSr - wild card
2) Aiken
3) Perrriman
4) Butler
5) Campernaro
6) Matthews
7) Draft pick - if no pick, Givens
He didn't look to good today. I like the kid though.
The pants looked great!!!!
Well, I'll be!!! Creaky muscles and joints!
Man, that's a 0-16 squad you've assembled there.
Phantom IR move to get young guys on the field.
Maybe we should keep pitta next year. These guys have a lot of potential but they've all been pretty banged up and been up and down all year. Now this? We know we can rely on Dennis.
Are you serious? LoL
I personally don't ever see Maxx Williams taking over the starting spot from Gilmore. Gilmore's toolbox is too full.

I wholeheartedly agree. I quit coming to this site because of this fact.
