  1. I personally don't ever see Maxx Williams taking over the starting spot from Gilmore. Gilmore's toolbox is too full.
  2. its lack of talent combined with below average coaching.
  3. I agree. Perfect analysis.
  4. ... but Monroe is a liability.
  5. Would have paid McPhee and drafted Quintin Rollins and Stephon Diggs. They both were available when the Ravens were on the clock.
  6. Juice is a bum.
  7. You don't need a leader. You need OLB, CB, and S talent. After you have the talent, the leadership will sort itself out. Ray Lewis is wrong.
  8. He's not special as in super talent in one area (like speed, size, power, skill). What makes him special is that he has a sizable amount of it all, save for size). The little guy is quite strong, as a former RB, he is tough minded and can cut on a dime. He is quick, but deliberate. He is sudden and faster than average. He has an excellent repitiore of skills that many players do not have in a combo. If the guy had three more inches, he would be a killer. If healthy, there is no reason why he can't be our Edelman.
  9. Is there a Stat for coverage sacks? Because that's what the Ravens get.
  10. I can't agree with that line. Campanaro is special; he just can't stay healthy.
  11. You are right and wrong at the same time. Babin's foul up certainty did contribute utensils in a major way to the loss. Second, cutting him sends a real message that mental lapses cannot be tolerated. I am sure the whole coaching staff was angered at the stupid penalties from Babin that cost the Ravens an INT and a Cleveland score.
  12. Taliaferro is just a guy. The Ravens need slippery, quick skill players.
  13. I think Bob Rogucki is a major part of the problem. I think his strength and conditioning program emphasizes raw strength and bulk over functional strength. I think he's the main culprit as to why Ravens players start here and in each progressive year they slow down as they bulk up. The Ravens look to change the full physique of the player as opposed to enhancing the players natural strengths. This can have a negative effect on performance as much as it can be positive IMHO.
  14. I reserve judgement for a year without Kubiak.
  15. Ahem....abridged version, please........
  16. The FS position is Terrence Brook's position to lose. If he doesn't lose it, then Will Hill will be our starting SS. Edit: I forgot that Brook's injury was late in the season. So, I say we run with the core group we have. The priority position will be CB regardless.
  17. Hello all. I just relocated to Dallas. I'm living in Addison. I'm in for a gameday bar meetup.
  18. Well, the players in the NFL are bigger, faster, stronger - and they hit harder in general because of this fact. That could have a little bit of a factor in why this happens.
  19. This is simply not correct. Boldin was probably the best in league for two years, and excellent for a third. how soon we forget...
  20. I think he is the 7th rated WR - however that falls. I see value in the third round.
  21. Brandin Cook would be our guy. I think the Ravens would target him IF he drops in draft stock.
  22. I'll bite. I'd like your assessment.
