  1. I know I'm gonna be negged because Yanda is a favorite among Ravens fans (myself included), but I have to look this objectively: didn't like it. Too much money.

    Usually, guards' production drop pretty quickly. I love Yanda and he's the best guard in the league now, but he's also 31. He will not be up there for long. If you don't believe me, just look this stuff up. Guards, even if they are great for quite a long time, can get washed-up fast. I usually work with the idea that you have to draw up contracts based on what you're expecting from the player, not what you've seen already.

    I certainly like Yanda and I'm glad he will retire as a Raven, but that's too much money.

  2. I literally don't see it, no matter how hard I try:

    @Niners -- 50/50

    @Cards -- if we don't get blown out, it'll be a miracle... seriously

    Chargers -- this team has our number

    Jags -- ok... W

    Rams -- with Foles at the helm, we have a chance... but that D tho

    @Browns -- 50/50

    @Fins -- 50/50

    Hawks -- likely another home L

    Chiefs-- 50/50

    Steelers -- L with a healthy Roethlisberger

    @Bengals -- L

    So if you include the Rams game, I see 6 winnable games, but I'm sure the Ravens will lose more than their fair share of those 50/50 games since they can't even beat the Browns at M&T in a must-win.

    The Jags aren't THAT bad anymore. Their O is playing well.

  3. Firstly, McCown is not a bad QB. He lead the Bears two years ago and far outplayed Cutler, until the playoffs when Trestman put an injury healed Cutler back in. Big Mistake. I was worried about McCown He's smart. He knows where the defensive holes are and he found them to the tune of 21 second half points and an overtime where they put 3 up. We were DEFENSELESS. Did you watch that embarrassment?

    So when you call for silencing Raven fans that can't stand this type of effort, just keep in mind what you're really asking.

    The Bears never went to the playoffs with Trestman.

  4. After what we did in the first three games, I can't believe we still stand a chance of going to the playoffs. Unbelieavable.

    I think we can win here. And if we can make it to a 3-3, our playoff status is up in the air. Trestman and Pees have got to start improving fast, though. We need to stop playing 10 yards away from receivers and, for the love of God, use our TEs more. Also, establishing the run is key here.
