With my post being deleted, yes I feel accused of hijacking, which in all honesty, I don't really care about. The whole point I was making was this thread had been "hijacked" long ago with the Cary Williams talk by another troll.

For what it's worth, Flacco not playing in the game opened the door for Mallet to show what he can do with the first stringers. It let us question how long he may be to starting again. (I'm not trying to start this discussion and I know this wasn't the discussion presented, but it wasnt unrelated and is much more relevant than Cary Williams)

So when you ask what does Flacco (or lack thereof) have to do with preseason game 1, there ya go.

I'm not sure how statistics from 2012 and 2013 on a cb that's not even with the team have anything to do with a safety in 2016, particularly in "the first preseason game", but I'm just being frivolous at this point.

What does Cary Williams have to do pre-season game 1? What about starting two of him!? Also, as far as Im concerned, unless we won a Super Bowl and Jimmy Smith had his Lisfranc injury all in pre-season game 1, what does that have to do with anything?

Not sure if the Giants are considered sleepers, but I havent seen talk about them being contenders. Also, the Jets.
