  1. Kind of glad he didnt come here after that.
  2. Colts just cut S Laron Landry and a few other guys.
  3. The one where students tested the balls? I question what school that was and out of how many people were the select few that made the video. Also! Since 2007, the Patriots fumble only at a rate of once every 187 offensive snaps. This is literally off the charts. It is a statistical outlier right from a statistics textbook. There is no other team even close to being near to their rate of 187 offensive plays (passes+rushes+sacks) per fumble. The league average is 105 plays/fumble. The odds of such a statistical distribution were calculated at one in 16,233. That’s a comma, not a decimal. Sixteen thousand two hundred and thirty three to one. http://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/2015/01/23/deflated-patriots-statistically-impossible-fumble-record/
  4. You know, if it weren't for Sherman last year running his mouth, I wouldve enjoyed the Seahawks. This year he's calmed down a bit and that comment on Goodell is golden. The only problem I have now is their fans and Lynch grabbing his junk and being a jerk to the media. However, I do love how their defense plays, it brings me back to the old days of the Ravens and wishing that we could get to that level again. Russell Wilson is a class act too. Lol dude, what they did is the definition of manipulation. Maybe we should give more credit to "Bill Belichick the Science Guy" for finding a scientific way to manipulate the ball to pass inspection and then deflate to Tom's real preference of 10.5 psi. Either way you look at it, it lacks integrity for the game and the Patriots should be charged with deceiving NFL officials if this comes to fruition. PFFT! Go read a rule book. Im actually flattered that the Patriots fear us this much to try and come up with these theories.
  5. Bengals blocked their DB coach from interviewing for the Broncos DC position.
  6. Not taking Bill's or the Patriot's side, but Belicheat for once went into detail on what he knew then and what he knows now. Was he sincere and honest? I hope so. But when you lay every possible thing that you knew and then the media asks you redundant questions, I think he gave the appropriate answer to most of the questions. EDIT: Tom Brady is full of baloney. After listening to both press conferences, I feel like they are hiding something. Multiple times Tom had to cut himself short because he was about to say something he didnt want to share. Especially when he accidentally brought up his agent. He started get a smirk on his face when he said that.
  7. Brunell and Bus discussed this on NFL Live. Brunell said he could easily grip the ball better and could easily get another 10 yards more on passes because he could control the ball more. Bus said while carrying the ball, it would be tucked in to his arm better, making it harder to cause a fumble. Given the conditions of the game, I could see why they would do this, but that is just speculation at this point. On a couple of shows on ESPN, they showed a close up on a deflated ball compared to regular balls and over inflated balls. You could clearly see the difference of the balls as they held it. Not sure what you mean for New England's defense as they would be catching Indy's regular inflated balls. They wouldnt be able to adjust air pressure in those. Why do we care what Richard Sherman thinks about it? Harbs was just giving us PR talk and letting everything unfold privately.
  8. A couple of things. 1. Because "everyone" does it, doesnt make it right. It is a rule to have it within a certain pressure. The NFL is partly to blame for even allowing this to happen. To fix it, they should be in charge of all the balls from now on. 2. Do those "other QBs" keep it in the confines of the rules? I think its 12.5 psi to 13.5 psi or something similar to that. The Patriots had it at the 10.5 -11 psi range.
  9. It's hard to be excited for a guy a season after your previous coordinator just set offensive franchise records. Im more in hopes that he will be here for more than 1 year. I think Kyle would have been a better OC but, he would be gone next year anyway. I think there were slim picking this year.
  10. You have to wonder, why all but 1 were deflated? Maybe to help cover it up?
  11. On a different note, the Around the Horn guys say take away a draft pick if found guilty.
  12. Sigh, Im going to take my own advice. They completely ignored my other statement and is getting trying to start a childish name call. I've been warned in the past by doing this. Lol. I've learned my lesson moderators. Ill leave this troll alone.
  13. Out of curiosity, what did we have Kubes signed to? I was under the impression coaches contracts dont really mean anything.
  14. If his results were as good as '13, he wouldnt be available now. Furthermore, he was head coach there and his D went to crap. Harbs wont let that happen. Trestman is solely responsible for the offense. Flacco makes better decisions than Cutler.
  15. Is it me or did ESPN play very ominous music when announcing this?
  16. To be fair, at that point Caldwell had zero experience calling plays too.
  17. "Mommy, they did it too!" is what your post should have said. Just because other teams have done it in the past, doesn't mean its right.
  18. I dont know why everyone likes to bring up, "They still would have won." or "I guess they deflated it in all the colts games." That doesnt matter! As I previously stated, we all know the Patriots would have won anyway, it is a matter of principle. This shouldnt even be an issue. With the games you provided, you'd think they'd be feeling pretty good about playing the Colts without doing this. Ill finish with, this isnt even that big of a deal.I think the max fine for this is $25,000? Yeah, we all know the Patriots do cheap things to gain small advantages. Maybe, all teams do it, maybe not. That is speculation, but fact is, the Patriots have been caught multiple times and it's getting old. FAST.
  19. We all know the Patriots would have still won. However, if this is true, thats another asterisk on Tom's, Bill's, and the Patriots' legacy.
  20. I liked the draft
  21. Looks like McNabb got arrested as well.... per Bleacher Report
  22. Just kidding then. lol
  23. I think he was brought in to play LG, that way we can get a center deep in the draft and focus on FS, WR, and TE in the early rounds.
