  1. He also said "Flacco's new deal will include QB records for bonus, new money and other metrics. Ravens re-committed to him. Lower his cap #s next few yrs"
  2. I just think the "lazy" label he has gotten may remind the Ravens of Bryant McKinnie and how hard he was to work with.
  3. Bills have released Mario Williams. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000640441/article/mario-williams-released-by-bills-after-four-seasons?campaign=fb-nf-sf21785407-sf21785407
  4. Is there a reason you left off Dumervil? He's 5'11"/255...
  5. As in panned out or lifted weights?
  6. With Trestman at the helm, pass first.
  7. Like the players, just don't see 3 picks going to the secondary. I understand we will have more picks than what's represented here, but 3/7 going secondary? We just have too many bodies already at those positions. I would like to see another DE or OL in there instead. I agree with Tunsil going 1 especially since Mariota got hurt. As much as they may want a beast DE, they need to protect their prized possession.
  8. I think the trade back with the Rams could be a real possibility. The Rams are being included in a lot of rumors circling QBs lately. They've reportedly be considered in Manning if the Broncos let him go, and Manziel said the Rams were also interested in him. If these rumors are true, they are definitely looking to upgrade at the QB position and could be a likely trade partner in the draft if they do not address that need in free agency.
  9. I dont understand the argument that we have a lot of depth at safety. I agree we have spent attention and money there and that we have a lot of bodies there, but good, quality depth? Im not so sure. Webb might be the answer, I hope he is, I like him, but he is constantly getting injured. Kendrick Lewis was a bad pick up. Matt Elam? He was starting to come around in training camp so it seemed, but he has really struggled during the season. Terrence Brooks? He has the potential to step up, but injuries have held him back too. Not too mention, Arrington wasnt very good and will likely be gone. So we will need another nickel corner. We have a lot of guys there, but Im not so sure on the depth part.
  10. At this moment in time I see the Spence pick and maybe the Fuller pick too high. The main reason and probably the only reason a team would trade back is to gather more picks. Of course you shouldn't trade back unless you feel you have multiple options to where you are trading to. That being said, Spence is trending as a late 1st rounder, so trading back 6 - 10 spots and nabbing an extra 2nd and 3rd would be a no brainer.
  11. We need to use the forsett... Ill see my way out...
  12. He was a part of the Ravens staff way back when Rex was the DC and left with him to the Jets. He was our LB coach at that time if I remember right.
  13. We finally replaced Cam Cameron
  14. I didn't know where to put this, so I put it here since it is about another team. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/11/19/charlie-batchs-186-yard-two-pick-game-has-espns-best-qbr-ever/ NBC Sports posted an article detailing the greatest performance of all time, according to the QBR stat. The QB... Charlie Batch in 2010 against the Buccaneers. 186 and 2 interceptions and a touchdown or two. This is a clear reason why no one should ever give the QBR stat any merit whatsoever.
  15. I just envision a top 2 type player stepping in immediately at their natural position. I guess I'm just thinking of overall value and production for a player that high. I suppose it wouldn't be a bad idea for him at OG for a year.
  16. The only thing I don't like about it is that we then have 2 LTs. Unless we trade Monroe for like a 5th. If we were able to unload Monroe and his cap somehow, I'm on board. Until then, trade back a few spots and gimme some Ramsey and some first rounders.
  17. I think we are pretty set.
  18. If we lose tonight we have the #2? Why do the Lions have the tiebreaker? Conference or division win?
  19. http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/10/13/2016-nfl-mock-draft-robert-nkemdiche-lions With the number 3 overall pick, the Baltimore Ravens select Jalen Ramsey, CB Florida State University. I wouldn't particularly mind this pick, it notes that he can play safety and CB which is great. I know a lot of guys like Bosa, he went 2 to the Jags. Fowler and Bosa would be nasty... Also he has the Broncos beating the Packers in the SB, which is just silly.
  20. Good example. Sanders was good when he was on the field though. I remember hyping Webb up when he drafted him, but at some point you've just to learn to let go. He is simply too expensive for the amount of games he is still missing and for the production he has given when on it.
  21. That list is skewed imo. I don't see how the Cowboys aren't at the top, let alone 8th. When you are missing your qb, star wr, and stat lb, I think that weighs more than a star receiver and an unproven receiver. The Panthers should be ahead of the Packers if this list was any bit of consistent at all.
  22. I would still entertain the idea. There's still Hargreaves and Ramsey, along with a few others. If we can get another top pick for next year, I would say their combined talent would be better. Especially if we nab Fournette. That's a big if though.
  23. I don't know if it still holds true after this week, but heading into week 6 the Ravens led the league with sacks on third down. It's crazy to think we have the most sacks on third down yet yield the 2nd highest 3rd down conversions allowed.
  24. I agree! If he is done, why hasn't he filed retirement papers? Why isn't he on IR? I feel like there have been discussions that we don't know about, about Pitta wanting to play. If he does play, I think it'll be after week 10 or so to ease him at practice to test the durability of the hip.
  25. The Nevermores Lol who negged my other post.
