I was ready to rip into Flacco too, but he had no time to throw at all.
Had he gotten rid of the ball on the play earlier, it might have been field goal rang, but what can you do?
Why didn't they throw a flag for contact with the punter and/or whatever happened near the returner?
Really Joe? You couldn't throw it away with all that time?
Is it weird that I'm happy about two and three yard gains?
Just now, Adreme said:Did you see the Bengals play last night? They win this game and they will be division champs.
It sounded like he said that if the Ravens won this game Baltimore would be the champs, which is of course, untrue.
But maybe he meant the Steelers.
Did the talking head just say that if the Ravens won this game they'll be the division champs?
They need to do their research.
Just now, hen826957 said:Your not the football players. That a tough play. Can you catch that play? These players are playing we are watching.
You're right, I can't catch it. I expect professional football players to do that.
Poor Tavon. If he was a little taller that ball would have gone the other way.

Still his job.
They are playing for their playoff lives. They need a big time player to make big time plays in this big time game.
You know, Joe usually plays well in Pittsburgh, and this game (so far) has not been an exception.
He threw two passes that could reasonably be expected to be touchdowns. Pitta especially should have caught that ball.
I hope that doesn't count as a missed fg for Tucker since he never actually attempted a kick.
Also, this has gotten ugly quickly.
1 minute ago, rossihunter2 said:i dont mind checkdowns as long as they are on first and second down - im fine with short gains as long as they arent 3rd down
That's a good way to put it.
Man, Joe, that was ugly.
No, I don't blame him for the blocking. I was just hoping for a throwaway.
1 minute ago, HazDaGeneral said:the run game is trashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Which has been the case all season.
The run defense is what disturbs me.
Why so many dump offs so very short of the sticks?
Your fullback is not going to get that kind of yardage as often as they expect it.
Also, announcer guy, you didn't have a problem with the helmet penalty when it was against the Ravens.
Just now, BALTIMOREFLACCO said:Campanaro is our new Donte Stallworth
I hope not. He dropped the ball in the endzone against NE iirc.

I'm not, it's just that I was expecting a decent gift in my stocking, but the Ravens are giving me coal when they were supposed to give it to Pitt.
Even with the flag, this looks like the start of something ugly.
The defense needs to keep them from scoring here. Even a fg will be a bit demoralizing esp if they can run down the field again.
2 minutes ago, OUravensfan said:That's why we don't run the ball. Need to fix that next year
Yep. I don't normally blame them for abandoning the run because there is usually a pretty good reason.
Except that Washington game when they were averaging over 8 yards a carry. Passing nonstop then was just nonsense.

To be fair, it's two straight games and the start of a third... for the defense at least.
Ugh, I knew they needed to make something of that 40 yard position.

It disgusts me how easily NE should get to the Superbowl. Pittsburgh always rolls over for them so the only obstacle would probably be KC.
Unless of course the Ravens surprise me and manage to win two road games to finish out the season. They aren't afraid to tangle with the Patriots in the playoffs.
But first things first... put some coal in the Steelers stockings, Ravens.
1 hour ago, K-Dog said:A Pitts-burgh loss eliminates them too right?
No. They can still win the division next week if Baltimore loses to Cincy
2 hours ago, PurpleCity5 said:Well guys, if we miss the playoffs, just remember, we lost to the Jets. The freaking New York Jets. Who got blasted by New England 41-3.
I remember thinking that that particular game would be haunting. Losing to three consecutive playoff contenders wasn't pretty, but capping it with loss to the Jets was not a good look.
On the bright side: yesterday the Ravens road victories this year were against teams with a combined 2-26 record, but today two doubled their collective victories.

I saw it and I liked it, but I didn't love it.
I'm really glad that Disney took a risk doing something so different with the Star Wars universe and I hope they will do other things outside of the Skywalker-focused box. However, this movie failed to make me connect with the characters so I was, consequently, not as invested in them as I had hoped (no pun intended
)to be.

Oh yeah. I hit it when they lost to the Jets and then again when they gave up 128 to Ryan Matthews.
