I'm not used to all of this positive yardage on the ground.
I thought that play was DOA and I was about to get mad.
I wish they would do more dump offs on first down. They might actually get a yard or three and then third down might no be so far.

In Wrights case, just being noticeably close to his guy is good coverage. The throw was what we should really praise though.

I think it's the "S" team, as in the Steelers homers.
Just now, robbie29 said:Dude, wake up. Our offense has been the bigger liability BY FAR this season than the defense.
Very true, but the defense has been atrocious since NE.
2 minutes ago, ellicottraven said:You may be right and that may cost them big time too I'm praying and hoping.
It looks like it might cost the Ravens big time.
Jimmy Smith, get well soon.
That should not have happened.
Pitt might stick to the air now that they're down.
Just now, Inqui said:I love how the commentator spent all the time pre-snap talking about how good the Steelers were at stopping two-point conversions only for Sr to make a pretty straightforward conversion. Great start to the half.
I didn't even heard that over the sound of my pounding heart. Was it Dungy again?
All of that practice going for it on two point conversion and fourth down finally paid off.
They just lapped the Steelers in points.
They really should get into the endzone with that field position, but I'll take a fg.
Just don't turn it over.
They better rule that a catch.
2 minutes ago, Grapple Raven said:For some reason, I don't know why, but I feel the Ravens are going to win this game!
I think I know why: it's a one point game.
With that many screwups the game is well within reach. If they even play mediocre offensively, they should win... provided the defense remains stout.
2 minutes ago, Ravensfan23 said:He should have made the TD catch and that final 3rd play on the sideline. You are a 6 year vet get your freaking foot down. Those are the simple mistakes i'm talking about. That potential TD pass to Perriman should have been completed if Joe had the time, but he had to fling it up. That Pitta TD, the missed FG because of a poor snap, when does Cox and Koch ever mess up there? I hate how this team always plays the like they can't handle the big lights in the regular season. Maybe someone should tell them it's a playoff game.
The score should be at least 17-7 right now.
I know, they're leaving plays on the field like they think they're the Bengals in a primetime game.
Just now, ravens rule said:We need TDs man
I agree one hundred percent... but, if the ST had converted that other fg they'd have the lead even without getting in the endzone.
2 minutes ago, Cmonman25 said:I hope they do take some deep shots. One interception could be the difference.
A turnover would be huge, but I feel like the risks outweigh the rewards. This defense is very vulnerable to big plays when Jimmy doesn't play and there is the ever present threat of DPI even if Pitts playmaker don't catch the ball, which they are pretty good at doing.
1 minute ago, Ravensfan23 said:Call me a homer but this game should be at least a 10 point game in favor of the Ravens. As good as Bell and that offense is, it's strength vs strength with them vs the Ravens defense. However that Steelers defense is not very good and the Ravens should be taking advantage of them. However they are just making far too many mistakes. Guys not picking up blitz, missed blocks, poor FG snaps. and just overall mistakes. Me and @Militant X 1 had a great convo earlier today about this team just showing up. If they play to potential nobody can convince me that the Ravens aren't the better team, but when we get in big games it seems like the moment becomes too big.
I'm hoping for a TD here for the Ravens to gain control
I feel like Pitta should have caught that touchdown which would have given the Ravens the lead. The run defense still scares me though.
Plus halftime adjustments are coming.
That's some nice moves from the surgically repaired knee.
SSS is such a fighter.
Just now, robbie29 said:Yeah, because things were so much worse when he was OC. Nothing has changed since he was fired.
I think the idea is that the offense has declined since he was hired.
I wonder if the Kubiac might have been the real problem... My thinking is that Mike Shanahan might have been available that year and.. well it doesn't matter now.
Please please score something here.
That poor Oline is so over-matched on run plays... well and passing plays sometimes too.
There is still hope though.

Just because I'm panicking doesn't mean I've given up yet.
2 minutes ago, ratedr said:Flacco actually usually plays well against the Steelers these days...seems like he's reverting back to his panicked days against them circa 2008-2010.
He hasn't really played badly... yet. He threw well enough for the Ravens to have taken the lead with a td and that last drive was ended by the lack of blocking.

What an odd play.
Tucker time coming up it would seem.
