Justin Tucker is laughing right now.

I know PFT loves Weddle, but who rated Webb that highly?
Tucker makes it look easy.
Doesn't seem worth a challenge this early in the game, but I hope it works.
It looked short.

He normally has a pretty pop-up slide, but the brace is cramping his style.
They're lucky these refs are letting the defense get away with some shots, because that was a penalty.
Just now, Wildabeast88 said:It was a tough catch can't totally kill him for that.
It wasn't the easiest catch of his career, but both of his hands were on the ball. That's a catch he should make.
That brace is really cramping Joe's slide game.
Welcome back, Doom.
I hope it's not three and out time.
And just like that the game is about to be tied.
I thought this defense was supposed to be good.
That was a gift.
If Jordy Nelson's play was a catch, that should be too.

Same here.
I was thinking about the low ratings of NFL games during the game last night. First you have a primetime matchup featuring Houston, then it's in Mexico, and on the first possession of the game the refs blow a huge and obvious call.
The league really needs to scrutinize the quality of their product.

Ravens still have: Vs Bengals (W), Vs Dolphins (W), @Patriots (L), Vs Eagles (W), @Steelers (L), @Bengals (W). (9-7)
Steelers still have: @Colts, Vs Giants, @Bills, @Bengals, Vs Ravens, Vs Browns.
The Steelers have to lose at least 2 of those games. Chances are, a 9-7 tie would go to the Ravens.
Now I think even 8-8 could happen for us too. Most scenarios I see us getting the tiebreakers over the Steelers, even if they beat us on Christmas. I just want to make the playoffs.
Pittsburgh has such an easy schedule remaining. They will at least beat Cincy and Cleveland again as well as the Colts. There's really no reason for them to lose any of those games except vs Ravens.
Baltimore really couldn't afford those losses to New York.
With A.J. Green and Gio Bernard out, and considering that this is a three win team, there is no reason that Baltimore should not win at home especially after a frustrating loss.
It's hard for me to be optimistic when the Ravens play Cincy, but they really should take this game.
Who is the Bengals' OC these days?

I'm not sure, but I didn't think that was one...at least not compared to some other non-catches.

I tend to think the coaches deserve a lot of the blame for not sufficiently disciplining the players. I need to go back and look at the numbers through the last few years, but my first instinct is to consider all the coaching changes that occurred when Kubiak came on board. He brought a bunch of positions coaches with him and then took some to Denver, didn't he?
Maybe that upheaval resulted in some lax coaching.
I'll agree that Harbs does have the ultimate responsibility. He's obviously been doing a less than stellar job at hiring OCs and now the team has had complete meltdowns in penalties for at least two years in a row. Something has to change. I'm not sure if that means getting rid of positions coaches or benching players like Zuttah or something else entirely, but they can't keep giving up entire football fields in penalty yardage.
3 minutes ago, Afchris2006 said:How do you expect town with 136 yards in penalties????? The coach has lost his authority over the team!!!!!!!!
96 of those yard should have been offset by a holding penalty on Dallas's o-lineman, but I get your point.
I'm a Harbs fan, but this team is among the league leaders in penalties. Someone is responsible for this.
Just now, kennethyamini1989 said:Eh, I'd put the Pats over the Cowboys, but yea Boyz are that business right now.
The Cowboys are what their record says they are.
But if they meet NE in the SB, Dallas is going to remain tied with San Fransisco.
NE's offense would abuse that secondary, and refs wouldn't help them in that one.
Flacco's oline can't spike the ball correctly, but everything is Joe's fault?
Just now, JO_75 said:Yeah, this should have been the game we exposed them for playing a soft schedule and only playing against 3 Top 10 defenses prior. Instead we just making them look exactly like they have been all year. Can't wait for Dallas to play a real defense and be shutout and all the hype goes down the drain.
It's Dallas, the hype machine will never shut down. But that offensive line deserves the praise (even if the refs are turning a few blind eyes).

Great observation; ugly stat.
1 minute ago, drillem said:Given the fact that we haven't beat a winning team all year, did anyone think this would end different?
If Jimmy Smith played things might have worked out differently, but alas, it's not really surprising.
