    I don't really think it's been a pattern for his career or even recent years, but I can't think of many crazy plays at the moment... I'm too absorbed in this game. I wonder if Flacco might have run for that down... Ah well, the Steelers D is doing their best impression of Baltimore so it doesn't matter.

    I guess it could give us hope for next year, assuming he ever makes onto the field this season. However, by the time he does the season will be over at this rate.

    Steve can (well before this injury) and they didn't even try on those last two. Plus they can attempt it three yards behind, but never beyond. I know the receivers are scrubs, but the Steelers cbs arent all-stars either. I mean, can't they try like once or twice?

    I was trying to figure that out myself. I mean it's not like they have to air it out for 40 everytime, but surely Pitts defenders aren't so scary that they can't try for ten yards at one time.

    Lol Vick is the only guy who couldn't make a big play on 3rd down against the Raven's D. Literally every other qb they've faced has crucified them with that kind of down and distance situation. Yes, I know Vick is no Manning, but don't forget Derek Carr.

    The way they've played during this game and the last 2, I'm thinking 8 points would suite them. However, I'm going to go out a limb and say 0 or -6.

    Well Flacco just cleaned up his own mess (or at least part of it). This is usually when the defense messes up. I just thought of something. The defense has scored a td in every game so far. Now would be a good time for that to continue.

    This game is kind of like the season: they have dug themselves into such a deep hole that they will have to play almost flawlessly on O and D in order to get out. Of course, we already know this game was the season before it started.

    Harb's background is in special teams and defensive back coaching. He is not an OC and never has been. It would probably be worse if the tried to do that on the fly. And anyways, least we forget, the Ravens o-line is not good and they have one receiver. No one is going to be able to fix this in two quarters.
