Let me see....Man block, Zone Blocking Scheme, Pass Protection on Pass Plays.

How high does a Pancaker need to score?  Le"Veon Bell scored a 17.

I'm calling it here and now........Tunsil will completely out perform Stanley. It will not even be close.

Will you agree if we still need a Left Tackle after this boondoggle...........This is Newsomes last year.

Anyway nice try to make some kind of argument it was a good pick.  We'll just go with the results.

    P.S. Ray Lewis scored a 13

    Jonathon Ogden scored a 35

    Michael Orr 19

    Yanda 34

    Jah Reid 23

  2. Wonderlick scores of offensive linemen in draft.  So Tunsil was the lowest of all the highly rated o-linemen in draft.  Not a good sign.

    Laremy Tunsil – Ole Miss – 15 of 50
    Ronnie Stanley – Notre Dame – 27 of 50
    Jack Conklin – Michigan State – 29 of 50
    Taylor Decker – Ohio State – 36 of 50
    German Ifedi – Texas A&M – 27 of 50
    LeRaven Clark – Texas Tech – 18 of 50
    Brandon Shell – South Carolina – 17 of 50
    Graham Glascow – Michigan – 34 of 50
    Reese Odhiambo – Boise State – 27 of 50
    Christian Westerman – Arizona State – 16 of 50
    Caleb Benenoch – UCLA – 27 of 50
Joe Thuney – North Carolina State – 39 of 50
    Ryan Kelly – Alabama – 29 of 50

  3. I think we have a very easy schedule.  That being said the team is going to be pretty bad.  The offensive line we subtracted Osemele and added Stanley.  I would say that is a negative.   We lost two starting linebackers who haven't been replaced. Flacco is coming off an injury.  Our other best players Yanda, Suggs, Smith, and Dumervil are old and getting older.

    4-12.

They had Jack in their lap and blew it.  We need a LB and he would have been a perfect fit.  It's a long term risk but Ozzie blew it.  I hope this kid proves me wrong, doubt it.

Seems he tried to move to linebacker in his junior year and didn't do well.  Another thing to consider he is 24 so he was playing against much younger players.

what you all have to ask yourselves

    was it worth it

who will we get with those extra picks

How are all those guys are going to be able to make the team anyway.

This isn't instant coffee! Everyone on this board advocates playing it safe. Try an be optimistic all you want, he wasn't best pick available, not even best pick at the position! We should have rolled the dice on Jack or Shaq Lawson. How is anybody happy right now with this pick??

I don't think this is a safe pick at all.  Look at muscle definition of his arms and then compare them to Tunsil. It is a question to me whether he is strong enough to handle NFL players.  And people say he isn't good at run blocking.  Why take a guy at #6 who isn't a great player.  Seems like Ozzie just picked the best left tackle not named Tunsil and to hell with the Best Player Available.

Jack had huge concerns over his knee and Tunsil can't finish a season healthy. Stanley was the best and safest pick there.

Come on if you knew that 2 QB's and a Running Back were selected before the Ravens picked at 6th you would expected someone better than Stanley.

Jack would have been the perfect dream pick. I understand Tunsil's situation, but I personally hate the fact that such a talented kid such as Jack now has to suffer.

Yeah.  No way Stanley was best player available.  So I guess Ozzie can retire that BS about always taking BPA.

This is on Will, yeah I think the FO could have waited until his suspension was announced but you can't blame Ozzie and the FO for something out of their control. Hill has been in the league long enough to know he will be tested randomly. Shame, was looking forward to our new look secondary with the addition of Weddle.

The only thing that I don't get is that Nick Boyle got suspended 10 games and he wasn't cut. Hill suspended 10 games and he's cut?

Nick Boyle's salary cap hit is 566k.  And he has two more years of cheap contracts after this year.  That is why he is still on the team.
