  1. It really doesn't matter what practice squad he signs with. If we need a Wide Receiver and he is on the Tampa practice squad we just sign him and he is on the Ravens.
  2. He seems to have failure after failure lately. To blindly say "In Ozzie we trust" why even have a message board. I would have kept Butler. If you aren't going to keep players who play well why even have play pre-season games?
  3. Yeah he was the guy who Drafted Elam in the first, Brown in the second and Brooks in the Third. And he is the guy who kept them around long after everyone else knew they weren't going to become productive players.
  4. If they want him as punt returner he is on the team. Really I don't see who else would get that job. Unless they get a punt returner from another teams cuts I see Campanaro making the team.
  5. Well if I pick the same people as everyone else how do I have a change to win the contest. He looked good last night.
  6. We are weak in numbers at Tight End and Inside Linebacker. I wouldn't be surprised if we pick someone up cut by other teams at that position. I picked Stephen Houston over Buck Allen for Running Back. Seems like the better player.
  7. I don't think Arthur Brown is practice squad eligible.
  8. If a player isn't good enough to be on our 53 players what do we care if he clears waivers or not? If he makes it to the practice squad another team could grab him at anytime. John Simon cleared waivers and we still lost him off our practice squad. Being on a team's practice squad is pretty meaningless. The players are available to any team that wants them.
  9. I doubt I will watch this one. NFL really needs to go to 2 pre-season games.
  10. You mean the year we won the Super Bowl? Dark because the lights went out?
  11. Well we might not want to make the same mistake twice. And Dixon wasn't needed as much as Perriman was last year.
  12. We don't really have depth at Wide Receiver. And even if we did Kyle isn't going anywhere. Productive player at low salary why would they cut him?
  13. Why have any thread with that logic? People want to discuss Monroe if you dont' want to read about it don't open a thread with his name in the title.
  14. The scouts who scouted those hall of fame quality players are long gone.
  15. Well I am saying there is a reason for the league to stop testing for it. Why diminish your own product for some silly anti-marijuana crusade?
  16. Who is more likely to play this year: Pitta or Perriman?
  17. Isn't that what he said last year?
  18. Yeah I don't know if I support his statements but he is free to make them. It is legal in several states now. It is foolish for the league to suspend guys for it with all the head injury stuff that is much worse than smoking a joint.
  19. If all they are getting for Monroe is a fifth round pick I would keep him. If you cut him at the end of training camp you end up the same cap position as if you trade him. If someone gets injured during training camp you have Monroe there to step in.
  20. Wouldn't it make more sense to get rid of the coach than the Union Rep? The coach should know the rules. If he can't follow something as basic as this do you trust him to run your team?
  21. What is stupid is the Ravens coaches not following such a basic rule. All the other teams managed to follow the rule.
  22. Look at the 2007 team that went 5-11 and the elite to semi-elite players on the team. You have sure HOF in Ogden, Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed and Suggs might be a HOFer as well. And a lot of other all-pros. Still team was terrible. Steve Mcair Todd Heap Willis McGahee Ray Lewis Terrell Suggs Ed Reed Chris Mcalister Samari Rolle Haloti Nagata Derek Mason Ben Grubbs JOnathon Ogden
  23. Jonathon Ogden scored a 35 Michael Orr 19 Yanda 34 Jah Reid 23
  24. Wonderlick scores of offensive linemen in draft. So Tunsil was the lowest of all the highly rated o-linemen in draft. Not a good sign. Laremy Tunsil – Ole Miss – 15 of 50 Ronnie Stanley – Notre Dame – 27 of 50 Jack Conklin – Michigan State – 29 of 50 Taylor Decker – Ohio State – 36 of 50 German Ifedi – Texas A&M – 27 of 50 LeRaven Clark – Texas Tech – 18 of 50 Brandon Shell – South Carolina – 17 of 50 Graham Glascow – Michigan – 34 of 50 Reese Odhiambo – Boise State – 27 of 50 Christian Westerman – Arizona State – 16 of 50 Caleb Benenoch – UCLA – 27 of 50 Joe Thuney – North Carolina State – 39 of 50 Ryan Kelly – Alabama – 29 of 50
  25. I think we have a very easy schedule. That being said the team is going to be pretty bad. The offensive line we subtracted Osemele and added Stanley. I would say that is a negative. We lost two starting linebackers who haven't been replaced. Flacco is coming off an injury. Our other best players Yanda, Suggs, Smith, and Dumervil are old and getting older. 4-12.
