Nothing like watching your favorite TV show. The only thing you see on TIV is the commissioner walks up to the mic. The fans boo him and then he says Baltimore Ravens select ..... I don't watch it on TV as it is complete boring and just watch the draft tracker. A fair comparison would be how I don't waste my Sunday fall afternoons sitting indoors so I DVR the Ravens day games. I have had people tell me the score when I specifically told them not to. That is spoiling watching the game for me. You had nothing spoiled for you. You got the news when the pick was made and announced to everyone in the world except on NFL Network where they are more concerned about showing you commercials than showing you the picks as they are made. If you should be complaining complain to NFL Network for their delayed announcing of the picks. The pick was over five minutes old when I posted it on here. How am I supposed to know that they would delay it that long? So someone posting on the Internet who doesn't have a cable package is somehow supposed to determine when they announce it on TV to discuss it? Even though it was announced on the Internet over 5 minutes before the posting

The injuries all the more reason to be concerned about him being our #2 next year. Torrey was definitely the better player at this point in his career. Torrey didn't drop as many balls as Perrian either. Probably the reason that Flacco didn't throw to Perriman more.

Why was Perriman the 3rd or 4th option. If Torrey was on the team and Perriman wasn't I am sure you would have the opposite feelings about them.

Torrey had 841 yards his rookie season which is significantly more than Perriman had his second year. So anyway you slice it he did a lot better.

What if Perriman gets injured first game? There is no depth. And something you fail to take into account we had 500 more yards rushing on the 2012 team it was a more balanced offense. If you threw as much as you did last year Torrey would have had even more yards. And Torrey average 17.4 yards per catch. I don't get the forcing it to him comment at all. These weren't dump offs most of Torrey's receptions were long gains. I would trade a pick or two to get a legitimate receiver. Ozzie and everyone else in management and coaching's job is on the line. Another disappointing season like the last two and they won't have to worry about what happens to the future picks. Time to make some moves.

Not defending the front office but the draft analyst ratings are pretty meaningless. They have given us A's in the past in years that turned out to be more like an F in retrospect. Giving Ozzie and company the benefit of the doubt that they know some guy who is a writer by trade.

Boldin hall of fame receiver in his prime. Torrey first two seasons destroy Perriman (1696 yards vs 499 yards). And Torrey had 1128 yards his third year. So you are predicting that Perriman in his third year breaks out and still has a worse season than Torrey in his third season. Pitta was playing well back then and Jacoby was basically what Perriman was last year. Plus you had Ray Rice who was good for 500 yards from the back field.

I think it is a lot to expect a fourth round pick to change positions to center and then being a starter his first season. More likely he plays guard and we bring in a veteran center. Perhaps with a season of experience he can move to center down the road.

They made the playoffs the last 2 seasons and we didn't. They don't respect us anymore that is why they appreciate us. If we knock them out of the playoffs this year they won't appreciate us at all and will go back to hating us. This has to be the stupidest thread I have ever read. Did you guys appreciate the Patriots when they didn't report who was eligible in our last playoff game and humiliated us on the way to the Super Bowl? Go to a Steelers game in Pittsburgh when we were good with a Ravens jersey on and see how much they appreciate you. Man reddit can't be worse than this forum.

If the Steeler's players state something good about the team that is one thing but if a rival fans are saying good things about you it is because you were once good and are now are bad. When we were both getting in the playoffs most years none of their fans had one good thing to say about the team. Two straight non-winning seasons and suddenly they respect us? Come on.

Well good news for you only have a few more days to read them. Maybe the Ravens will be good again and they can go back to hating us and not respecting us.

If you are seeing it on TV 15 minutes after the pick has been announced is that important to you then why read the board at all. Really it makes no sense to me why you would want to hear about the pick 15 minutes late? If you want to ignore the Internet it seems the best way to do that is to stay off the Internet. Maybe wait until Sunday Paper and read about it there.

I don't understand. This isn't a game that someone hasn't watched yet. This is a draft pick that the only information being received is the name of the draft pick. What is being spoiled? That you have to sit through 2 commercial breaks to get the same information. I don't get how waiting five minutes for the same information is spoiling anything for you.

I can't really judge them right now. I have to see the players at least in pre-season. But if this draft turns out to be a failure and the team has a losing season this will probably the last any of them are involved in drafting NFL Players.

They are just saying this because we have been down the last couple of years and they knocked us out of the playoff race.. If your main rival starts appreciating you that means you have started to suck.

I don't know how you can do a "spoiler" on a draft pick. These forums have the strangest rules.

Watching the whole draft conference from the Ravens looks like the Ravens front office isn't happy about getting Humphrey. Maybe they wanted Hooker or Barnett. They look disappointed.

If they were thinking about trading back into the first they wouldn't have just had a long press conference.

I was fine until Harbaugh started talking about what a great special teams player he was and how he didn't need to play right away and his performance would determine whether he plays or not. That makes me feel warm and fuzzy about the pick.

And all the second round picks we had that were of first round quality. I would have like a offensive lineman. We could have had a really good O-Line. Now we have someone who is going to be playing special teams his first year. I think you can't compare Elam to this pick because Elam was the 32nd and this is the 16th. Last year there were only 31 picks in the first round so.

Harbaugh is saying he is great special team player. Great he will be covering kick offs like Jimmy Smith did his rookie year.

I think it is hard to know who will continue to work as hard as they can once they get the big paycheck. Most of these guys have grown up poor so if you give them a million dollar + signing bonus for a first round pick how are you going to know if their main concern will be football or partying.
