What would be nice, or should I say AWSOME, is to see a slant to Mike Wallace and watch him burn their secondary like he used to do to us when he was with them. That would be the ultimate first offensive play for the Ravens.

OK: Now. Try this on for size........

All I want for Christmas is to beat Pittsburgh...

    To SWEEP Pittsburgh...

    To Ruin Pittsburgh !

All I want for Christmas is to beat Pittsburgh....

So we can move on to the Bungals.

See if that don't stick in your head.

    Merry Christmas, Ravenation !!!

Do you mean a slant kinda like this?

It would sure be a nice Christmas present to see that again.  Mike Mitchells speed left him a long time ago. He is certainly vulnerable out there.  If he takes a bad angle there is no way he is going to be able to catch Wallace.

    Exactly !!!!

  3. Although this horrendous season is killing me, especially when I have to hear the crap from the obnoxious and arrogant Squeeler, Patsy and Bungel fans along my routes, (and now even the Brownstain fans, UGH!!), I am finding a tiny personal bright spot. I've been watching the number of PSL's being dumped on Ebay. The number has more than doubled over the last 4 weeks. And about half of those have their prices below "market value". If the trend keeps up, I may finally be able to afford a decent set of PSL's.

  4. Headline: For the second week in a row, the Ravens snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Mr. Jernigan. As a "reward" for your bonehead hit on Mr. Carr, this week your job is to line up in a three-point stance at the 35 yard line, perpendicular to the field, just outside of the sideline, at each kickoff. Then, after Tucker kicks the ball, run straight out to the tee, pick it up, run straight back to the sideline, without hitting anybody. (By the way, Mr. Jernigan, you owe me a new 50" tv since the one I have now has a huge pizza stain in the middle of it)

And since everyone seems to feel these "professionals" are nothing without Suggs, Lewis, or Reed, I have a suggestion for the front office: Since there is no salary cap on staff, hire one of these guys to be in the locker room and/or on the sidelines as "Chief Hand Holder" or "Head Emotional Lifter Upper" or "Team Butt Kicker". That should head off any more "excuses" for mediocre play or ineffective coaching.

Hmmm. Does anyone else detect a note of sarcasm here? Nah. Not me.

  5. I see it this way, we got this kid at a good time, provided he keeps his nose clean, and listens and learns. It's a "no brainer" that the Ravens will re-negotiate Joe's contract somewhere in the next year or two, and extend it for at least 4 years. With this guy working with Joe and this coaching staff for that long, this could be an awesome pairing.

Welcome to Ravens, youngster. Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay focused.
