He's the big one if we can get him. Seen him floated around here as a day two guy if I'm not mistaken.
There were mocks of him going to us in the 5th, some even earlier. I think it's a great pick up.

Ravens to sign North Carolina offensive tackle James Hurst, according to a source
Great UDFA signing already
I think we should look at
Receivers: Washington, Coleman, Shaw
Corners: Purifoy, Reynolds, Roberson
TE: AC Leonard
OT: Hurst, Richardson
Why don't we get every DT that wasn't drafted? Always room for more defense!!!!
How bout some corners?
IDK how much you can read into this, but we met with Elam last year, then drafted him. I'm pretty sure we also met with both Jimmy and Torrey before drafting them, and the same with Courtney Upshaw. This year, we haven't met with either of the first round safeties, but we've met with Ebron, Amaro, Benjamin, Evans, Lee, Landry, Norwood, Matthews, Mike Davis (a receiver), and Jacob Peterson (another TE). We really went heavy interviewing pass catchers. The only guy I could see that's considered a first round pick on D was Aaron Donald.
We've also met with Ra'Shede Hageman. He might be a first round pick but not at #17.
Monroe-KO-Zuttah-Yanda-???
Ok... I can live with this.
I'd go get Winston at this point. Solidify the line and do whatever the hell you want in the draft.
Winston would be a great fit now. If we got Winston we would have the flexibility to pick a later-round OT to develop under him.
How would you guys react IF Jeremy Zuttah was actually brought-in to play left guard (while Osemele shifted-back to right tackle AND Gino Gradkowski remained the center)? What would your thoughts be, then?
To be honest this is a possibility. I think it would improve the line anyways. I liked Osemele at RT. I feel Gradkowski will be better than he was last year. That being said, if I had to choose I wouldn't want Gradkowski being our center.
Zuttah is very versatile, he can also play guard. Could be the start to move KO back out to right tackle... We may still be after Mack or another center. I like the trade no matter what Zuttah is used for though.
Ozzie strikes again!!!
One possibility I see is the Ravens trading back and picking defensively with the first pick. I don't believe they'll target right tackle, they like Wagner and may bring in a veteran to compete with him, or move Osemele over to RT. It would be more likely that the Ravens pick a versatile guy that's can play guard while moving KO to tackle. Could easily see a pick being a guard like Su'a-Filo in the second round.
I don't think we may see many defensive free agents signed because whatever the need is, we could draft it early. Hence the interest to guys like Jimmie Ward and Ra'shede Hageman. I am beginning to think we may not bring in a guy like Clemons or Decoud for safety. I would love for the Ravens to go out and pick at the market and find some great guys, but it probably won't happen, for a while at least. They also might be waiting for future cuts and cap causalities. We might wait for a veteran corner or another safety to get cut and then the Ravens swoop in and take him.
de la puente is a far better player then either of those guys. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Well, Zuttah can also play guard and is a decent center. He would also be cheaper and wouldn't cancel out a comp pick if he were cut. I would like the Ravens to sign De La Puente, but his asking price may not be in our range.
With Bucs shuffling OL, cutting vets at end of contracts, should they part w/Jeremy Zuttah after today's signing would make sense for BAL
If he is cut, I can see him being a Raven. Ozzie loves to wait for guys to be cut and this has 'typical ozzie move' written all over it. Possibly he and/or Will Montgomery will come in for a visit.
Just saw on Twitter the deal was worth about 10 million
3 year deal with Steve Smith! I couldn't be more happy. Great pick up.
If the Ravens were to seriously move Osemele to right tackle I would think we could pick a guy like Su'a-Filo on the second round of the draft
Great signing on our part. I knew Ozzie would get it done ![]()
What CBs are available? Sam Shields, Alterraun Verner & Captain Munnerlyn all signed deals.
Im all for Spikes if we dont bring Smith back
I second this. Would be a good addition to our run defense
…..They signed the DE, not the S.
Just realized that. Hard to determine who is who with social media and them both being free agents. I am hoping the Ravens have some interest in the safety. I'm surprised he's still on the market.
Well Chris Clemons will not be a Raven... Jaguars signed him to a four year deal. The Jags did a huge overhaul on their defense.
Smith would be a cool pick up, still has a few years left in him. He surely doesn't play like he's 35. Could definitely see us signing him for 2-3 years, letting him finish his career as a Raven. He would also be able to mentor younger guys and any rookies we draft.
Well I think the Ravens will sign Chris Clemons or draft Jimmie Ward to address the safety position. Cornerback, well I think we'll address that during the midrounds of the draft. Maybe a guy like Stanley Jean-Baptiste
Waste of money. Trindon Holiday would have taken a lot less to fill the same role. Smh
Trindon Holliday can return kicks and punt but he isn't a wide receiver. Holliday had a one reception in 2013

Now we just got to sign a hidden gem of a corner and wide receiver and this year will be great
