  1. Would love to get him, but I don't see it happening just yet. I don't think we jump on a corner yet, just don't have a great cap space. We could possibly see cuts of guys like Terrence Cody, Jah Reid or Sam Koch after training camp to make some room.

  2. We all know Ray can't block. Which of our draft picks is going to help with that?

Just a question, but why bother posting when you're nothing but negative? I understand, we didn't get a guy like Sammy Watkins but you could at least be a little optimistic instead of bashing on guys you haven't even seen play yet.

  3. I did. I predicted him to us with our third round pick in one of my recent mocks. I won't lie I was pleasantly surprised after all the safeties flew off the board that he last until the third. That was a nice surprise.

So was I, I was thinking he'd be gone before our second pick, beyond happy we selected him in the third round. Brooks was my favorite safety

  4. why do people keep talking about KO switching? than we won't have a LG.

Don't give me Shipley or Gino at LG either they both got blown up consistently last season. I don't need to see Gino or Shipley starting again

If RT was that big of a need it's a possibility. Osemele was good at RT, and we drafted a potential started in Urschel, with some more development in my opinion. Plus it would be better for him if he was a having back problems, but like you said I'd rather have him inside.

  5. Exactly. i am a little concerned at OT, but i figure we plan to move KO there and have a LG competition. Every other position is really, really deep. We just got screwed over from poor play from Oher and Mckinnie last year as well as KO's injury.

Plus last years center was horrible. People are calling Zuttah average but if we can get a center that managed to prevent a sack for an entire season on a below average OL in Tampa, I'm more than happy to have him as an addition.

  6. If we don't get Roberson, Seamster looks to be a great project CB. He's got the measurables. I like to think he and Hurst are almost locks to make the final roster. I think we could take a rookie punter over Koch as well.

I agree considering 20+ other teams wanted Seamster. If you watch any videos of him online albeit theyre scarce, you can see he's good. Could be a steal

  7. so how good is Ricky Wagner, because he;s gonna be the starting right tackle

That's not determined yet. I think Wagner is good but he's unproven. The battle for RT will be a great one to watch. If needed, Urschel could play LG and we can move Osemele to RT. We also signed UDFA James Hurst that could take the job. One of the best signings IMO.

  8. UF man, don't confuse those two schools ;) .

Apparently the Seamster kid is an impressive physical talent.

Sorry, it was midnight! Didn't even realize I did lol. But I agree, didn't even know about the dude but after I saw we signed him his highlights and it's impressive

  9. My only real gripe at this point is no CB yet although Seamster is an intriguing guy as an UDFA

I agree, I would've liked to draft a CB, but I like the picks we ended up with. Still time to get more UDFAs and I looked up Seamster after we signed him and he could be a steal

  10. Now that I've been thinking about it, I'm pretty happy with this draft. Every guy we drafted has a role, whether they will be a starter during the 2014 season or a back up for a guy that could soon retire.

First two picks were strictly BPA and man they were great selections in my opinion. Mosley and Jernigan are great defenders. Brooks will be great as well. I like the pick of Gilmore in the third even though it was a bit of a reach. But he's the guy we wanted and we wanted him for a reason. He is a bit of a developmental guy but I think he'll be a decent player in a year or two. Urban was a great player to grab in the fourth round. He was scouted to go in the second. Love the pick with Lorenzo Taliaferro. After that, we got another decent pick with John Urschel. Hes a little undersized but he's an intelligent athlete and could be a good guard one day. Webbing was brought in because next year is Taylor's last season on his rookie contract. He's a developmental guy but I don't think he'll be starting anytime soon. Lastly, we have Campanero which I see as a steal. Don't think he'll start this year but could eventual become a good slot receiver. Plus there's always UDFAs to look out for, and we already got some promising players like the OT James Hurst and the CB Sammy Seamster.

Perhaps I'm a bit too optimistic but I don't see much to complain about. No we didn't get a flashy receiver in the first round or a big name tackle to immediately plug in on the right side. Every pick, however was a good addition that brings a solid player here. We will have a good team next year! Most of all, a great defense in my opinion.
