  1. Didn't even think of Doug Marrone until he was mentioned above. And the pool of Ravens OC candidates gets more interesting...
  2. Is it too soon for 2015 mock drafts?

id say so, we could be picking in the top 10, or the bottom 5, we might be the most unpredictable team in the league right now lol

Well I really hope for the 32nd pick unless we trade up :D

  3. Now, the question is who will step up at running back? Will Pierce actually be able to take over as a starter? Or will it be Forsett who actually showed he can produce? Or even Taliaferro? Toussaint???

I think Forsett and Tailiaferro will be good! Definitely have high hopes for Toussaint as well

Im not giving up on Pierce after one game but I like all our options.

they released toussaint.....why would they do that right now

  4. QOTD: If Ray Rice comes back from suspension and isn't as productive as the Ravens hoped, should Pierce be named the starter over him?

I'm thinking LT will be our guy while Rice is out. Pierce looks fragile, and Forsett is a fumbler.

a concussion from an extremely hard spear directly to the crown of the helmet doesnt make him fragile necessarily, but he did have his fair share of minor injuries last year. i think pierce should be fine barring any kind of freak accident, 1 in a million tackles that would hurt anyone like a clean shot to the ACL/MCL area

if he stays healthy but Rice looked very quick and agile but its a good problem to have choosing between 2 good RBs

  5. Why hasn't Danario Alexander been signed to a team? He's 25 and coming off an injury, it wouldn't hurt for a team to bring him in and see how he is.

Pudding has more structural integrity than Alexander's knees

Probably because my 83 year old grandfather's knees are in better shape than his are.

Some team, probably jets or dolphins will bring him in

  6. Would love to get him, but I don't see it happening just yet. I don't think we jump on a corner yet, just don't have a great cap space. We could possibly see cuts of guys like Terrence Cody, Jah Reid or Sam Koch after training camp to make some room.
  7. Which UDFA(s) do you think have the best shot of making the roster?

      Patterson, Hurst, Seamster,Xavier Boyd

Definitely Hurst. He doesn't have much competition for being a backup tackle. Seamster and Boyd have a shot as special teams guys.

  8. Just a question, but why bother posting when you're nothing but negative? I understand, we didn't get a guy like Sammy Watkins but you could at least be a little optimistic instead of bashing on guys you haven't even seen play yet.
  9. Did Joe Don Duncan go undrafted??? Looked good at the combine, kinda surprised if he did
  10. Something I'd like to point out: I like the way our draft was and I'm happy with our picks but I feel like if Mosley wasn't on the board for our first pick the entire draft would be different
  11. So was I, I was thinking he'd be gone before our second pick, beyond happy we selected him in the third round. Brooks was my favorite safety
  12. If RT was that big of a need it's a possibility. Osemele was good at RT, and we drafted a potential started in Urschel, with some more development in my opinion. Plus it would be better for him if he was a having back problems, but like you said I'd rather have him inside.
  13. Yeah he wasn't a full-time starter, read that yesterday
  14. Plus last years center was horrible. People are calling Zuttah average but if we can get a center that managed to prevent a sack for an entire season on a below average OL in Tampa, I'm more than happy to have him as an addition.
  15. I think now with Campanaro we've covered the need. Ravens have more than enough offensive pieces that are talented
  16. Marlon Brown was great last year IMO for an UDFA rookie. He's been improving since last year, he'll be an important part of our offense next year.
  17. A few videos, only a couple on YouTube. Saw a few yesterday after searching for a bit but I'm having trouble finding them
  18. I agree considering 20+ other teams wanted Seamster. If you watch any videos of him online albeit theyre scarce, you can see he's good. Could be a steal
  19. That's not determined yet. I think Wagner is good but he's unproven. The battle for RT will be a great one to watch. If needed, Urschel could play LG and we can move Osemele to RT. We also signed UDFA James Hurst that could take the job. One of the best signings IMO.
  20. Sorry, it was midnight! Didn't even realize I did lol. But I agree, didn't even know about the dude but after I saw we signed him his highlights and it's impressive
  21. Marcus Roberson out of *UF*, was once a Day 2 pick
  22. I agree, I would've liked to draft a CB, but I like the picks we ended up with. Still time to get more UDFAs and I looked up Seamster after we signed him and he could be a steal
  23. What about receptions? I'm guessing less than decent stats?
  24. Does he also play WR?
  25. Now that I've been thinking about it, I'm pretty happy with this draft. Every guy we drafted has a role, whether they will be a starter during the 2014 season or a back up for a guy that could soon retire. First two picks were strictly BPA and man they were great selections in my opinion. Mosley and Jernigan are great defenders. Brooks will be great as well. I like the pick of Gilmore in the third even though it was a bit of a reach. But he's the guy we wanted and we wanted him for a reason. He is a bit of a developmental guy but I think he'll be a decent player in a year or two. Urban was a great player to grab in the fourth round. He was scouted to go in the second. Love the pick with Lorenzo Taliaferro. After that, we got another decent pick with John Urschel. Hes a little undersized but he's an intelligent athlete and could be a good guard one day. Webbing was brought in because next year is Taylor's last season on his rookie contract. He's a developmental guy but I don't think he'll be starting anytime soon. Lastly, we have Campanero which I see as a steal. Don't think he'll start this year but could eventual become a good slot receiver. Plus there's always UDFAs to look out for, and we already got some promising players like the OT James Hurst and the CB Sammy Seamster. Perhaps I'm a bit too optimistic but I don't see much to complain about. No we didn't get a flashy receiver in the first round or a big name tackle to immediately plug in on the right side. Every pick, however was a good addition that brings a solid player here. We will have a good team next year! Most of all, a great defense in my opinion.
