    QOTD: If Ray Rice comes back from suspension and isn't as productive as the Ravens hoped, should Pierce be named the starter over him?

      He should be based on performance, but would he based on this hypothetical? Tough to say. We've shown tremendous loyalty to Rice and are contractually committed to him for a few more years. It would be an important decision for Harbaugh regarding his 'best players will play' stance.

      First question is, how much time do you give Rice to prove himself? My simple answer is yes, but other things need to be considered.

      Probably just split carries, regardless of who gets the start. Rice would be more of the third down back though I would guess
