  1. Is it too soon for 2015 mock drafts?

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

id say so, we could be picking in the top 10, or the bottom 5, we might be the most unpredictable team in the league right now lol

    3. Dorota

      Dorota

Well I really hope for the 32nd pick unless we trade up :D

  2. Now, the question is who will step up at running back? Will Pierce actually be able to take over as a starter? Or will it be Forsett who actually showed he can produce? Or even Taliaferro? Toussaint???

    1. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

I think Forsett and Tailiaferro will be good! Definitely have high hopes for Toussaint as well

    2. Willbacker

      Willbacker

Im not giving up on Pierce after one game but I like all our options.

    3. juanman7

      juanman7

they released toussaint.....why would they do that right now

  3. QOTD: If Ray Rice comes back from suspension and isn't as productive as the Ravens hoped, should Pierce be named the starter over him?

      Blackbirds Rule

I'm thinking LT will be our guy while Rice is out. Pierce looks fragile, and Forsett is a fumbler.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

a concussion from an extremely hard spear directly to the crown of the helmet doesnt make him fragile necessarily, but he did have his fair share of minor injuries last year. i think pierce should be fine barring any kind of freak accident, 1 in a million tackles that would hurt anyone like a clean shot to the ACL/MCL area

    4. Wildabeast88

      Wildabeast88

if he stays healthy but Rice looked very quick and agile but its a good problem to have choosing between 2 good RBs

  4. Why hasn't Danario Alexander been signed to a team? He's 25 and coming off an injury, it wouldn't hurt for a team to bring him in and see how he is.

Pudding has more structural integrity than Alexander's knees

    3. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

Probably because my 83 year old grandfather's knees are in better shape than his are.

    4. ravensnick

      ravensnick

Some team, probably jets or dolphins will bring him in

  5. Which UDFA(s) do you think have the best shot of making the roster?

      ravensnick

      Patterson, Hurst, Seamster,Xavier Boyd

    4. RaineV1

      RaineV1

Definitely Hurst. He doesn't have much competition for being a backup tackle. Seamster and Boyd have a shot as special teams guys.

  6. What wide receivers are left?

    1. NebraskaRavensFan44

      NebraskaRavensFan44

No elite one's that's for sure, just number 2 or 3 guys like Martavis Bryant, Jared Abbrederis, and Bruce Ellington, but they most likely won't be there for our 4th comp.

    2. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

A few good ones - Martavius Bryant, Jared Abbrederis, Kevin Norwood, Devin Street, Tevin Reese, L'Damian Washington.

    3. CalvinSmoke

      CalvinSmoke

gimme abbrederis, would play with us for years.

  7. If the Ravens were to select a safety in the second round, who would you want them to pick? I don't think Jimmie Ward will last to our pick... so Deone Buccannon, Terrence Brooks or other?

      ravensnick

Joey Flex-I don't see Bucannon being like Pollard. He is an enforcer sure, but he makes smarter hits and as very good ball skills, also unlike Pollard.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

not exactly like pollard, i know, but definitely the similarities are there, and where i would think pryor can play free and strong, i dont know if i could say the same for bucannon

      MrDelDante

      Brock Vereen in round 4

  8. I'm done being a Ravens fan. This team will be going nowhere next year. I'm joining the Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase, their team is twice is good as the Ravens will ever be.

  9. If Marcell Dareus isn't extended by the Buffalo Bills, he could be a Raven next year

      BmoreBird22

That's what I meant because he mentioned Ngata who is also up in 2015, as well as Jimmy.

Ngata will not be extended because he always contemplates retirement and honestly may not want to be extended. Not to mention injuries

    3. display name

      display name

Could we not still save money by doing so and spreading his paycheck around over a longer period of time? Even if Suggs retires in, let's say, 2017 (a year before his contract is up), the extension will still benefit us.

    4. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

It's just that I'm not sure Ngata wants an extension. I'm pretty sure they tried that this year and Ngata wasn't having it. I think he's just nearing the end of his career, which is why someone like Dareus would be so nice, but he'd be another Mack

  10. I think we may see the Ravens give guys like Rick Wagner and David Mims a chance starting at right tackle in free agency.

  11. Does anybody else think it's possible we trade back and select Ra'Shede Hageman in the first?

    1. allblackraven

      allblackraven

We might be able to drop back to mid 20's and get good receiver/TE there, then trade up in 2nd to get Hageman.

    2. radicals

      radicals

Yeah I was thinking perhaps we could trade back with the Browns for example

  12. I think I have a problem making mock drafts... so many possibilities...

    1. jazz1988

      jazz1988

i get that way some times

  13. Very glad to hear the Ravens and Terrell Suggs have agreed to a long-term extension!

  14. All the recent changes have completely changed the Browns. They have talented players now and will get better with free agency and the draft, the Browns will be a very powerful team in 2014

      Ravenslifer

Browns have no patience and consistently make monumental mistakes that undo all the good they've done e.g. Brandon Weeden, Paul Kruger, etc., while missing on just about every great QB prospect they can. Lost their first round pick in 2008 to trade up for Brady Quinn, passed on Wilson, Foles, and Tannehill to take a 29 year old quarterback, etc.

    3. BloodRaven

      BloodRaven

I'd like to know how a team with no starting QB is "powerful".

    4. Pats

      Pats

^^ you could have said that statement for the last 20 years, browns have always had bums at QB

  15. Does anybody think it's possible the Ravens will only try to retain Dennis Pitta, promote Matt Furstenburg and avoid drafting a (early round) TE?

    1. LEGEN-wait for it-DARY

      LEGEN-wait for it-DARY

sure we could look to add Garrett Graham in FA or Owen Daniels if the Texans release him.

    2. MrDelDante

      MrDelDante

Probably. We can pick up a good blocking TE in the later round like C.J and Lynch.

    3. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

Problem is Furst isn't a great blocker. That is why he wasn't on the 53 supposedly. I think we draft a blocking TE in later rounds. Furst should make the 53 this year IMO.

  16. This 'Offensive Dream Team' lead by Gary Kubiak sounds awesome and will really benefit our team. Hoping the Ravens can make this happen

    1. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

PLEASE DON'T USE THAT PHRASE!!! But yes, it is the best in the business! Thank god for the Wizard of OZ!!

  17. How do you feel about Seantrel Henderson? Even though he is a high-risk, high-reward player, I feel like he could be a good right tackle to replace Oher, he has monstrous size.

If I was Ozzie, I wouldn't even have him on the big board.

  18. Is Captain Munnerlyn a free agent this year? I think the Ravens could get him in free agency.

    1. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

Not sure but he has gotten better every year in the league.

    2. radicals

      radicals

True. I think if the Ravens could pick him up for a decent price, It'd be worth it

  19. I want to buy a new Ravens jersey. Who should I get? I was thinking Jimmy Smith

  21. With the Titans losing to the Colts, we are very much alive in the AFC... I feel our game against the Jets will decide whether we make it to the playoffs or not.

    1. FlocksGottaFeed

      FlocksGottaFeed

It's this game against Chicago. Historically, when the Ravens are '500' at this point in the season, we reached the playoffs 90% of the time. When we're not, 0%.

  22. Time to turn our season around!

  23. Today, while at the store with my Ravens jersey on, the cashier said to me "Oh, you're a Vikings fan! How are they doing this season?"

  24. It's okay if the Patriots are dropping passes left and right. They have young receivers that are still learning. They will be okay. The Ravens drop passes, too? Oh well that just proves Joe Flacco isn't elite! He is terrible. He doesn't deserve $120 million. Ravens will go 3-13
