BINGO!
I love AJ even more now and I don't think that's even possible lol.
Just a few points from TLC:
1. The Shield vs Ryback/Team Hell No was way better than I expected. I really thought it was going to end the PPV but then they put it in the middle of the card which was a bad spot. Even though Cena/Ziggler was a great match(IMO) I still think the Shield vs Ryback/Team Hell No should have ended the PPV.
2. While I'm sure some of it was Ziggler carrying Cena through the match, Cena did impress me, especially with the head scissors. I don't believe that in Cena's 10 years with the WWE I ever seen him due a head scissors of any kind. Never thought it was possible but Cena finally learned a new move! He now has 6 moves of doom. Speaking of which....
3. AJ's Five Knuckle Shuffle > Cena's Five Knuckle Shuffle.
That is all.
Agreed with all of this, especially #1 and #3. haha
For the love of..
Yes please. Can i see it now? I don't want to wait till 2013.
lol
For what it is...i liked it
Yeah i watched it last night, i liked it as well. Its not one of those "that had me laughing the whole way through", but it had its parts.
I know i'm behind, but i bought Prometheus like a week ago, and gonna watch it now. Hopefully its as good as I've heard.
Bought "The Watch" today with Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and others. Hopefully its as funny as it looks like it could be
The Dark Knight Rises comes out on DVD/Blu Ray today. Definitely gonna be picking that up.
Anybody see previews for the show "The Following" tonight during The Walking Dead? Supposed to premiere on January 21st (my birthday
) on fox. Basically it follows an FBI agent who finds himself in the middle of a network of serial killers, when a diabolical serial killer uses special technology to create them. Looks like it could be a very good show!
...unless he dies, of course. Remember, anyone is fair game in the series.
But then, like I said, the show does a great job of revisiting dead and forgotten characters. I'd like to see a spin-off with Jesse, even if it means looking at what he did when he wasn't with Walt while running concurrent with the show.
Oh god. Yeah that's true, hope it doesn't happen, but like you said anyone is fair game.
Not really. AMC's hiatuses seem to last longer than most other networks. Though lately a lot of shows are seeing long splits in the winter season.
Ah i gotcha. Just wondering, because another show i watched last year, Men at Work (on TBS), premiered in may, ended before summer did, and isn't coming back till summer 2013 i believe.
The best part? With the way Breaking Bad is written, the universe is ripe for prequels and spin-offs. They've revisited dead and one-off characters so many times in those cold openers, it wouldn't be out of the question for them to do a continuation of the story from another perspective, perhaps in a mini-series or a movie.
It'd be awesome to see a series for Jesse after its over. I know he's already a main character now and all, but a full show just for him and his life after he gets out of all the mess would be pretty sweet IMO.
Perhaps the Walking Dead wasn't the best example. But Mad Men was off the air for 17 months.
Oh wow. I didn't know that. I didn't really watch much tv growing up, and just recently within the past 2-3 years I've been more into shows (since i got Netflix and all) and watching them weekly. Is it normal for shows to be off the air for a while? I'm guessing that builds up the audience up for the season premiere when it comes back and all?
It seems to be AMC's forte. They've given the same long hiatus's to Mad Men and the Walking Dead.
Breaking Bad is one of the best written shows there is. While many other scripted series leave questions and holes in stories, Breaking Bad ties everything together down to the smallest details. Vince Gilligan knows how to write. I'm looking forward to what he brings after Breaking Bad.
Meh, not really as much. Breaking bad is taking almost a whole year, The Walking Dead is only gonna be like 2 and 1/2 months.
Started the first season of American Horror Story last night, and finished it tonight. Wow. I usually don't like "horror" and that sort of drama, but this was amazing. Now i gotta catch up on the Asylum.
I didn't see Survivor Series but I did read the results. In short, Punk will go to a year as Champion as he was able to defeat Cena and Ryback in the Triple Threat Match. Though he did do it with some help and not by Brad Maddox or Lesnar. In fact the WWE debuted Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as they attacked Ryback and took him out of the match allowing Punk to pin Cena for the three count.
They are indeed getting Ziggler ready for the cash in as Team Ziggler won over Team Foley and Ziggler was the sole survivor of his team pinning Randy Orton. Eve is still the Divas Champion, Big Show retained the WHC over Sheamus, and AJ had evidence of Vickie fooling around and her and Vickie went back and fourth until Tamina attacked AJ from behind. Seems this will lead to AJ's first Diva feud and it will be against Tamina.
Ugh. I didn't expect Big Show to lose it to Sheamus, and i don't even want Sheamus to have it again anyway. I find him boring. I just can't wait till Ziggler/Orton get their title shot. I guess we'll have to wait till Rumble.
There is no way I can see Ryback winning. I think CM Punk is a good enough wrestler to where he could make Ryback look good in a loss. Though you do bring up a good point about Ryback/Goldberg, interesting.
Am I the only one thinking they are trying to recreate the 80's with Cena, Punk and Ryback playing the parts of Hogan, Savage and Ultimate Warrior?
Agreed. I don't see Punk losing the belt anyway till Royal Rumble.
Its not really a "horror" movie, but has anyone seen Frailty? Its actually referred to as a "psychological" horror movie. Its probably one of my favorite movies ever, and when October rolls around, i always try to watch it once or twice. lol
Bringing up an old thread here, but this is as good of place as any to post it in. Has anyone watched Revolution yet? New show, comes on Monday nights? I just watched the first 3 episodes on demand, and its probably on my list of favorite shows. Amazing.
I'm going to see the new Resident Evil tomorrow, and then possibly Taken 2 sometime next week. This is going to sound bad, but I've never seen the first Taken, so i'm gonna have to go buy that first lol
Originally from Baltimore, currently live in York, PA.
Was anyone else disappointed with last night's Raw? I felt as if they were just looking for anything to fill the time.
I was thinking the same exact thing.
Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Weeds, The Walking Dead, Burn Notice, The Office. And i'm pretty sure there may be a few missing.
A few shows I've liked that are canceled/ended and are on netflix or that i have the seasons of: Prison Break, Friday Night Lights, Chuck, Blue Mountain State.
did anybody see 30 minutes or less yet? my buddy and I REALLY wanna see it.
