I like that Tony Romo is tier one, and hasn't had a sniff of the Lombardi Trophy, and then Joe, Eli Manning and Russell Wilson are Tier two on Brunell's list, with five combined super bowl appearances and four rings. Also, how can you have
Changes to pass interference and the addition of the illegal contact rule have made most offenses in the League look to pass first. Which is why passing stats have increased. However, if you can't run the ball you cannot milk the clock late in games and it makes you vulnerable to the comeback. With our ability to stop the run, and the explosive nature of our offense, it keeps us in games where other teams fade.
We really should make signing Tucker a priority. The kid is clutch and will likely be even more valuable if they change the extra point.
For the guard situation, I would sign Osemele to the longterm deal and then hit Yanda with the Franchise tag. He is a top 5 talent and deserves a top-5 salary, so we would have his services for another year and then see if we couldn't get a savings longer term based on him being a year older.
Lastly, the list of top-ten quarterbacks can't cut both ways, you either have a list of the top ten players regardless of their supporting cast, or you have a list of the top ten offenses. Peyton Manning might fit well into any offense as a top ten quarterback, but when you look at his supporting cast, it is not top ten. Just saying.
Why not Ed Reed? If we can get him for a fair price, he can be a one-year stop gap while we figure out the FS position. Plus he's getting paid by Texans, like Steve Smith is being paid by Carolina, so he's getting his and we can cover our base until we figure out something else.

The Uni watch list is subjective garbage. Newer teams are penalized because we cannot wear throwbacks, and yet older teams are celebrated for their classic looks. Besides, any list that ranks the Ravens kit below the new Browns uniforms has no value.
