  1. In 17 seasons, 10 playoff appearances w/ 2 Superbowls, 1 and done like 2 times...no team has been that consistent besides the Patriots and Steelers
  2. Would be nice if we get Zach Brown, if so I could see us picking up Derek Barnett in the first round, then go with a CB for the 2nd round, since it looks like Clairborne will be coming here
  3. Saw a report that Wagner is trying to make big money, he is gone, don't care though he doesn't deserve top RT money, if we cant work something out with Williams he can walk too, Michael Pierce can fill in. As for Torrey Smith, I like the reunion party, would like to have Mike Wallace too, but he's older and would have a higher cap penalty, makes sense to cut him
  4. Anybody that watched the Superbowl run knows, Flacco's success was because of Boldin always winning the 50/50 matchups, Jacoby's playmaking, and defensive leadership, Joe did throw a beauty to knock of Denver though
  5. It's sad about Oher, but don't really care to see reports on him...hated that we picked him since the moment it happened, was glad to see him leave
  6. I believe Perriman will be the player that we have been expecting, he showed flashes of his potential in some games, with more experience he will show.
  7. No reason to keep 6 TE, I was never too fond of getting Watson in the first place and unfortunately he wasn't able to provide for us, think he should go. I love Pitta, but think it's time to let him go also. We should move forward with Gillmore, Waller, Boyle, and Williams.
  8. Hoping Kiper is right about Jabrill Peppers falling to us, I feel he would be great to learn next to Eric Weddle. I can see us converting him to safety and drafting a cb possibly in the 2nd or 3rd. In my opinion draft needs should go: 1. CB 2. OLB 3. FS 4. WR 5. ILB (knowing the staff, they will either try to have Correa convert inside or draft one here)
  9. Don't think there's much of a chance Reed comes back to Baltimore if Harbaugh is still here, there have been plenty players that have left us to play for our previous coordinators (Ryan, Caldwell, Pagano, Kubiak)
  10. Not 3rd RB. Possibly 1st RB. If we had a gamebreaker at RB, think of how many more games we probably wouldve won. Not saying its a glaring "need," but if you consider the impact having a much better run game wouldve had on this season it makes sense. The reason for a bad run game this yr was because the lack of actually running the ball
  11. Moore at the very least has looked great on ST. We all know Perriman is electric. He and Flacco need to get together this offseason. We also need creative plays to get him the ball. His hands aren't bad it's a concentration thing where he looks up field before completing the catch. I don't think I've ever seen a post about Flacco working with any receivers in the offseason before...
  12. The overall production was great with the little carries they did get, cant be able to get many yrds when you run about 15x all game and throw the ball 50x.
  13. I only see a few things that need to be addressed this offseason honestly: 1. We need a pass rusher and have to address the secondary with a good player also. 2. We need to have better playcalling and schemes on offense. Definitely a better pass/run ratio because that was terrible this yr. 3. West/Dixon are fine at the rb position, a draft pick for that position is not necessary. West/Dixon made plays when giving the opportunity.
  14. How do they not have confidence in West and Dixon, they played well all season and made plays even with the few attempts they did get a game. West had nearly 800 yrds this season and only getting a average of 12 carries a game, Dixon also showed the playmaking ability and is tough to bring down. The backfield is fine when they actually the opportunity to produce, we have other issues on the team that need to be addressed, I'll be pissed if we spend a early draft pick on a RB in the draft
  15. Honestly cannot believe this smh, he was horrible. Hopefully leadership are not on the same page with Harbaugh and are looking at replacing him, Mornhinweg, and Pees.
  16. This hurt all over again just reading this. Watching it live and seeing them score all I could do was look down, cant even look at football right now. Nothing will hurt more than that Evans drop and Cundiff miss but this was tough. They should've known where Ben was going on that last throw, should've double teamed him at the line
  17. Ravens cannot pick at 21, the lowest will be 20. Also we won't be able to pick at 12. If Ravens lose and everyone else win, we will be at 8-8 and some of the 8-8 teams have a less strength of schedule than us. Tie breaker with draft order is opposite to tie breaker for playoffs. I think the best we can have is a pick around 14. I think Garrett Downing was wrong in yesterday Final Drive. Ravens cannot have 21pk nor 12 pk. Oh ok, I went by what he said, breaking the whole thing down gets confusing. I love my team but a win wont change anything really, still gonna be watching the playoffs, even the 14th pick looks better than the 20th
  18. Don't understand your logic. Maybe you should check your character as a fan. I've heard it all now. Go Ravens. My character is fine, just makes no sense to win what gain is there in winning? We can possibly be at the 12th spot in the draft with a loss or could possibly end up at 21 in the draft with a win. This season is over, im thinking of the future and a loss will give us a better chance at getting a great player.
  19. Winning this game would be idiotic, there's 8 teams hovering around the same record right now, so we can get a draft pick as high as 12 or as low as 21, potentially picking 12 in the draft is more important than being 9-7, we didn't make the playoffs so it's still a losing season
  20. If we win and everyone else loses we get the 20th pick... if we lose and everyone else wins we end up with the 15th pick. In reality if we win... some others will do the same and we will end up somewhere between 16-19 regardless. It is not like if we lose we jump into the top 10 and if we win... we fall out of the top 20. on the average we will pick around 17th... win or lose. So is a spot or two in the middle of the pack worth a non-winning season? That's crazy. You win... especially against a team who has owned us over the past few years. You dominate a divisional foe and use that win to springboard into next season. If we beat the Bengals... that leaves us at 5-1 in the AFC North for the year. That is a lot to build off of. But losing your final two and 3 of your last 4... that is a little harder to frame that going into next season No the one or two spots you would gain (at best) is not worth what you would lose.... it has nothing to do with ego or pride and everything to do with setting us up with confidence knowing that we can dominate our division going into next year. A split with the Bengals and Sqeelers would be a much harder sale then going 5-1 in the division. We need to WIN this game! Need to win for what? What gain at this point is there? We still miss the playoffs regardless, in the draft you can easily miss out on a player just from positioning. Win or loss we still out of playoff contention, we should be thinking about the next season and a few slots higher is more important than a meaningless game at the end which players will move on from once the season is over
  21. I respect Yanda for playing out of position to take pressure off his shoulder and help the line. Wish Jimmy Smith had that play through pain mindset, I'll give him a pass for the high ankle sprain, but there has been many times he is hurt and doesn't suit up, always happens to be big games too.
  22. Don't understand the logic in playing the starters, if you're thinking about the future, makes sense to take the L. Move up a few slots in the upcoming draft, winning could potentially miss out on a potential franchise player, this "character" game is pointless
  23. SSS was disrespected by the GM who didn't think he could still play at a high level, Smith plays like a Raven. Ravens would be honored to have him retire here. As for his replacement, we should try to address it first in the draft, followed by a OLB and CB
  24. I hope we get a new OC because Mornhinweg was just as bad as Trestman. I know this is a passing league now, but the team has always been the best when utilizing the run game w/ the play-action. Dean Pees has to go, his defense playcalling is horrible, if we are supposedly a #2 ranked defense, there's no reason we should give up a score in less than 2 min. Also Matt Elam has to go, he is horrible, been giving chance after chance to be on his team but never produces, there have many players deserving of his roster spot but for whatever reason he remains on the team
