About Me

One sister and I were called a Tomboys growing up. I grew up in a neighborhood of all boys. We had the largest yard so the boys came to us to play. We played every sport you can think of, from football (I was QB), baseball, and kickball to badminton, croquet, and frisbee dodge (dodgeball but with frisbees) to name a few.

There was no girls basketball team in junior high so 4 girls and I tried out for the boys team. What a fiasco. They picked the worst girl for the team and then ridiculed her till she quit. For the record, not all girls who enjoy sport are gay.

I didn't play organized basketball until my sophmore year in HS. I went from JV to Varsity within weeks. I didn't learn REAL basketball until my family moved to MN my senior year. The coach there was fantastic. In one year I improved enough to become All City, and honorable mention to All Conference, State and Tri-state. That year our team won more games, and went further then any previous team. Imagine what I could have been like if the boys team had taken me on. I didn't have the self confidence to try out for the college team, something I regret.

My father watched college football every weekend. Having only one TV, meant I watched football as well. (Go Mountaineers) It wasn't until I and the Ravens moved to MD did I follow Pro-football. I have been a Ravens fan from day one.

Looking for a Graphics Art/Art Director job. Do you have any leads for me?

Thanks!
