  1. Yeah I am too curious to not do 2002-2008 here so lets do it 2002: You may have heard of this guy named Ed Reed, he was pretty good. Went to 9 pro bowls Since we counted the undrafted guys in recent drafts, we must do the same here. Bart Scott couldn't wait to make the pro bowl in 2006 Total = 10 2003: Sizzle has been to 6 Ovie Mughelli made a pro bowl in 2010 with the Falcons 2003 Total = 7 New Total = 17 2004: Didn't get anyone in the actual draft but Don Muhlbach was picked up as an UDFA before going to the Lions and making a pro bowl 8 years later 2004 Total = 1 New Total = 18 2005: Derek Anderson had that one year in Cleveland he was good and made the pro bowl in 2007 2005 Total = 1 New Total = 19 2006: Ngata of course made his 5 pro bowls Sam Koch also was able to make a pro bowl in 2015 2006 Total = 6 New Total = 25 2007: Ben Grubbs made 2 pro bowls, once for us and then once with the Saints in 2013 Yanda has been great making 6 pro bowls for us Le'Ron McClain made 2 pro bowls 2007 Total = 10 New Total = 35 2008: Ray Rice out of Rutgers our Running back 2008 Total = 3 New Total = 38 So yeah this is a lot more than 10 and also means that I counted the pro bowls differently than in the list since it doesn't add up to 42. Don't feel like figuring out where the differences are though so whatever. This was more classes than in the first post(7 vs 6) but there were some really good classes there and our only top 20 picks were Suggs, Flacco, and Ngata compared to CJ for the more recent stretch. That did not stop our team from finding some serious gems though in Reed and Yanda along with some other good picks in Grubbs and Rice outside that range. Outside the guys listed though we had only 7 total pro bowls so a lot of that total is due to some really good players like Reed, Suggs, and Yanda(who accounted for 21 pro bowls between them and counting as I think Yanda has more in him). Also the 2004 and 2005 drafts were pretty bad
  2. Heap was 32 since we had just won the Super Bowl when we got him
  3. Actually ended up only being 3 top 20 picks. We made our picks on each of them(Suggs, Ngata, and Flacco) but there were some other really good picks we made
  4. I think they are capable of making it if they have a good year. I am keeping it as unbiased as I can, just spitting out the figures and my thoughts. Doing 2002 - 2008 now. You will probably enjoy it.
  5. I think the reason he was selected along with Mosley was that there was a huge tie between different LBs who all had one vote
  6. From 2009 onwards... 2009: Cedric Peerman somehow with the Bengals 6 years after we drafted him and he didn't even make the final roster Total = 1 2010: Morgan Cox was undrafted but we can count him to be nice 2010 Total = 2 New Total = 3 2011: Tyrod Taylor made one in 2015 after he left here 2011 Total = 1 New Total = 4 2012: K.O. made a pro bowl this past year after leaving us Technically Tucker wasn't drafted by us as he was undrafted but we can count him as well 2012 Total = 3 New Total = 7 2013: Juice made a pro bowl this past year 2012 Total = 1 New Total = 8 2014: CJ has done very well for us here with 2014 and 2016 both being pro bowl level years for him 2014 Total = 2 New Total = 10 I won't go into the past 2 years as the players are all too young to know for sure but I will say that there is some potential with the 2016 class and I am not feeling too great about the 2015 class. So we have 10 pro bowls over 6 years of drafting and I would say that there is still room for some growth with CJ and Jimmy Smith to hopefully develop along with maybe Brandon Williams getting recognized. I may do the classes from 2002 to 2008 if there is interest
  7. I don't think even the Browns could be that stupid lol
  8. Yeah Jones was never getting top 5 buzz. Only CB getting that is Lattimore
  9. But what type of muscle is being gained?
  10. Yeah they will find a way to mess it up, it is crazy how much opportunity they have had in the past that they have just thrown away. Those 2012 and 2014 drafts were amazing at how awful they were
  11. I don't think the Browns would even be a terrible situation for him given their O-line but having to line up under center will be a huge jump for him and he only played at UNC for 1 year. Browns would be smart to build up the defense more and then get their QB in a more promising class
  12. I think he has potential if sheltered a la Rodgers but if he is thrown out there year 1 it is gonna be a rough ride with him
  13. It was 2.5 for both
  14. McCaffrey, Fournette, Cook I think all go in the first Also Williams, Davis, and Ross I think all go in the first.
  15. Give me over on WRs, RBs, and I think Cook is taken earlier than 26.5
  16. This fan has a theory
  17. Like Reddick, don't know about double dipping at CB so early with OL and WR kinda being left until later. Would like that defense though
  18. Would not be surprised to see this I think the last time the boards were happy with a first round pick from us was 2011. Think most people liked the pick when it was made. Lots of people cooled on Jimmy of course as it took him a couple years to get going. I wasn't on here these days but I remember hearing that most fans liked him I don't remember Upshaw being too popular(not a first rounder but first pick so figured I would throw him on here) Elam was pretty hated Most people liked CJ but didn't like us going ILB at all(thought Arthur Brown was gonna be the next big thing) Perriman was hated by almost everyone Think some people liked Stanley but a few people myself included were against getting him, lots of discussion on that reaction thread. We will see how he develops but pretty happy with how he finished the season and fine taking the L on that one.
  19. Corey Davis to the Saints is just funny. I guess I could see them taking a speed guy with Cooks gone but not in the first round. I would be fine with Cook here as a player but the off field concerns make me think we pass and I am fine with that.
  20. I guess it depends on if this person considers Michael Bennett an edge guy. I think Thomas can be an okay edge guy rushing the passer but I would much rather him inside because A: I think he is better there B: I value inside pressure more than edge pressure Also McPhee doesn't really have good bend but he has been really effective in Chicago as an OLB. He isn't that Von Miller type player sure but he has been really good against the run and I think his pass rush is fairly solid. He doesn't finish sacks because he just doesn't have that bend but he gets his share of pressures at least. Like Thomas though I think McPhee is a lot more effective inside like he was with us in 2014. The Bears just don't have much depth at OLB (Sizzle and Doom in 2014) so they have not had that luxury hence why they drafted Floyd last year who can bend that edge and get them sacks. But Thomas being that SAM guy blowing up TEs in the run game and then shifting inside on passing downs is a very valuable player for just about anyone including us in the event he falls. I guess I haven't really addressed your thoughts on whether he can be an edge guy and I think it really depends. He could adjust to the position and be really physical against the run while getting solid pass rushing numbers or he could be like Quinton Coples was on the Jets and just not fit that scheme. I think the better question though is why you wouldn't move him around as you can get so much more out of him as opposed to just leaving him on the edge. If you just stick him at OLB you are not gonna be able to maximize his potential and even if he can handle the position, you are losing out with him as he can do more. Guess we will see who gets him and how they are going to use him since as with most players, the team that takes him will go a long way to determining how his career ends up.
  21. I see another Michael Bennett with him, think a team will be really happy to get him and move him along the line
  22. I don't think Conley makes it to 16 so I think Barnett will be the next great OLB for us
  23. Conley Ju Ju Witherspoon OL Or... Ramczyk Zay Jones Ryan Anderson Desmond King Or... Mike Williams OLB Sidney Jones OL
  24. Flacco is the perfect example of this
