  1. It looks like current plans are to extend this Nexus invasion angle and breathe new life into it by having a major name be revealed as the true leader. Rumors are that Triple H may turn heel upon his return and assume this leadership role. John Cena's name has also been thrown in the hat to turn heel, though that wouldn't explain all the beatdowns that he's received and why he's been targeted weekly.

I would love to see a Cena heel turn, even if the logic isn't there. Cena's gimmick needs to be refreshed ASAP.

the beatdowns fit perfectly "if you can't beat them, join them"

remember back in the old wcw days when the NWO wouold be the living crap ouot of someone the next few weeks they would join. That would be a major swerve to have Cena turn heel.Wonder how long they want to run this.Could it run long enouogh to set up some type of Survivor Series match?I doubt it that would have it last to Novemeber

  2. Did you not catch the hint last night, they had Cole read another famous catch phrase by a Hall Of Famer but I'm not saying who because I'm not going to spoil it for FF but they did throw another hint of who it could be even though all these catch phrases are just to throw us off on who it really is. It wouldn't surprise me next week for them to use another catch phrase from another legend or Future Hall of Famer.

    good catch JO_75

A quote from one of my all time favs "Just when you think you know the answrs I change the questions"

this isnt it but one of my favs couldnt find a short clip of the quote used

  3. ok no one spoil anything since I will watch last nights raw later today but so far I see 2 hints to who the GM could be,by flicking the lights they do a lil Taker hint(which I don't see),and The messages to Michael Tool have Stone Cold lines.

Without saying who or what exactly did they do any other sutter hints last night?

  5. oh no Jo don't get me wrong I like Teddy also I was just responding to Franny. As far as Taker goes Im not even 100% sure he makes it to Mania more and more grumblings about him wanting to wind down the career but who knows(as long as here's there wifey gets a push, and not just in her upper region)

  6. Yeah, Ted DiBiase is really showing me nothing special lately. His mic skills are mediocre and his ring work is pretty bland, IMO.

It's ironic that Cody Rhodes is turning out to be the better solo star of the two, despite DiBiase having been ahead of the curve when they were first paired together. Rhodees has been the complete antithesis of DiBiase (just as their fathers were), and it looks like history will repeat itself in this era where Rhodes will go on to have more in-ring success than DiBiase.

They did a big NO NO with DiBiase they basically recycled his daddy's gimmick. He can't grow on his own mimicing someone else.Dashing Cody Rhodes is going in a different direction then both his family members

  7. Just read the report about a backstage meeting held in Orlando today, nothing was said about Hogan,Bischoff(they aren't in building or were at last night's ppv),and Heyman, but Dixie told the talent to tighten up their ringwork which is said to have infuriated some within the company.

and didn't I tell you when Hogan joined that was going to be the downfall of TNA

  8. There are reports that Paul Heyman may be heading to TNA, despite remarks to the contrary that have been published lately. Heyman said that he refuses to go to TNA unless he gets full creative control, and Dixie Carter might be reluctant to hand over the keys after all that she's paid Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to do in that same capacity.

I personally would love to see Heyman in TNA (though I'd much prefer to see him get full creative control over WWE's mega-roster), and I think that the move would be the saving grace of TNA. That said, however, if Dixie Carter keeps listening to Jeff Jarrett and his antiquated ideas, I'm worried that the company will go under even if Heyman turns things around. Though I blame much of their recent missteps on Hogan and Bischoff, Jarrett has to take some of the blame given that he's let his personal issues interfere with his booking and he had been running out of ideas before Hogan and Bischoff were even brought in.

Heyman and Russo I see butting heads really.Their ego's would get in the way.Heyman is brillance tho,but I doubt even he couold help TNA atm.

  9. Hmm where do my loyalty's lie on this whole Taker angle? I don't want it to be Kane really I want one more Brothers of Destruction Run.It's hard to think who else they could get to pull it off, they just turned Show face kinda.(he's been used as a joke for far too long),I'd love to see Matt go back to the V1 days in my opinion that was Matt at his best.Do you give it to a rookie? or maybe a set of rookies?Taker vs McIntyre or Swagger(they had a decent match on Raw not to long ago),or Nexus? All signs point to Kane which we have seen too many times already.Reports are sayiing Taker is looking to wind down his career,so does he even make it to Mania and if so does he do the impossible(ask the Pats)and go 19-0

  10. Kind of related to the bolded part, but at the end of Taker and Shawn's match at this year's WM, when Taker picked Shawn up after he won, did it sound to anyone else like Taker told Shawn "Don't do it", regarding retirement? Perhaps it was my mind playing tricks on me, since Shawn is my favorite wrestler of all time.

hmm i know he told him he was one tough sob now Im going to have to go back and watch it lol

  11. Watch some of The Rock's old matches with Triple H or his little-remembered gems with The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1999, against Chris Benoit at Fully Loaded 2000, and against Kurt Angle at No Way Out 2001; the man can work all styles and can even do a great bit of technical wrestling, as needed. His biggest strength (other than his mic work) has always been his ability to tell a story in the ring, and his timing and pacing is impeccable.

Meh you named guys who can carry matches lol,I knew I'd get you riled up hehehe,Rock had some very nice early matches and I can't knock the man but I had to do it to get your ire. It's like if you woulda said Undertaker or Triple H couldn't run the ring

  12. I say they scratch the Kane angle as Takers attacker and go with it being Nexus then the Brothers of Destruction will destroy them.....or bring the Rock in if he wants to do in ring work. Not only ignite the crowd but bring in the ratings.

PLeas no more HBK,respect the hell out of him the best wrestler ever,(over Flair and I am a huge Flair fan),but he is done.I don't know who else you can bring in.It can't be Cena because they own him lol,Orton idn't a goody good guy,Sheamus runs at the letters NXT.Jericho? make him a face?
