  1. lol......... stink it up. Well mi amigo, unlike you and a few others who don't seem to actually watch the games, I think Flacco has played extremely well most of the time in the past 4 years with at times, little or no support. If you think Flacco's play has been the issue I would suggest following another sport. I can't see how you can follow football and make comments like "Flacco has played extremely well" in the past 4 yrs. In that span he has 65 TDs and 48 Ints. If you take away the 2014 when Gary Kubiak was here (27TDs and 12 Ints)' he has 38TDs 38 Ints. He is what you call a system QB. You should know this by now.
  2. Isn't it interesting to read Harbaugh's comments about Correa. They have no confidence in him beyond the special teams. He is quickly becoming this year's Arthur Brown. Meanwhile a 5th round pick Matt Judon, and undrafted Michael Pierce are excelling. This is important because the Ravens bypassed a few players that were rated higher by the national sports media to draft him in the 2nd round
  3. Appreciate your optimism. Fans have different personalities. Everyone is not the cheer leader type. Evens season ticket holders who support the team in anyway imaginable sometimes boo if the team isn't playing well. Being critical doesn't mean lack of support.
  4. He is a 9 yr veteran QB. He should be able to call plays at the line that maximize his protection. But I guess we shouldn't expect that from a player that has signed 2 $120M+ contracts. We should build a mobile brick wall for him so he just sit back a throw darts. He's definitely going to the HOF if we can do that for him. Sarcasm doesn't look well on you. I'd like to see you do as well coming off acl, mcl injury. Ok now the ACL/MCL is the new excuse. If you guys can just hold Flacco to half the expectation that every other player is held, it would be fairy reasonable. Here's a guy whose performance is most congruent to the team's fortune or demise, and yet been most inconsistent. He has never ever been benched from day one. He has had the opportunity to master his position, but yet every week there's a new excuse.
  5. yeah, they should have dumped Flacco right after the last SB win, just like they did with Dilfer. What were they thinking? My friend 2012 is 4 yrs ago. I doubt if your employer is paying you today for work you did in 2012, or you paying an employee for work he or she did in 2012. Since the Super Bowl, I believe only starters still on the team are Yanda, Suggs, Webb (injured and didn't play most of 2012), and Flacco. I guess we should just not expect Flacco to play well (just show up every game get handed the Starting QB job stink it up or not) till he turns 40 and retire. At that point we can then start putting together another team with intention to win.

  7. did Pittsburg gets some rings? I know. Go figure!
  8. The problem is not what Flacco could with WRs like AJ Green. Right now the offense is in a funk. 10 Jerry Rices would not make a difference!
  9. The coaching lost this one. Failing to attempt a field goal after a stellar play by defense in stripping and recovering the ball. That play demoralized the defense and was probably the reason CJ Mosely felt like he should take matters into his own hands. This Ravens is beginning to look like the Ravens before Billick got fired. If you consider last year and what is happening now and the fact that we have only made the playoffs once since the Super Bowl, and that playoff was because a Charger kicker missed a FG on the last play of the regular season against the Chiefs. This Coach has a disdain for attempting FGs. We have turned down FGs so many times that have come back to become the difference in the the game.
  10. What's the story with John Urschel? He couldn't play LG any worse than Ryan Jensen. Why is Hurst still occupying a roster spot?
  11. Shareece Wright couldn't be in a slump. He was never good. But Ozzie signs him to a multi year deal, but couldn't sign KO. Every year we go through this. Sometimes I think they want to save money first and win later. Sign below average players for cheap, and somehow make them play like pro bowlers. How's that been working out? If we miss the playoffs this year, it would be 3 out 4 yrs that would happen. That wouldn't be a winning organization would it.
  12. You forgot 2014 when he led us to the Playoffs, had one of his best years , beat Pittsburgh and scored 28 points against New England, that's not below average, that's Very good. This is not 2014, or 2012. Flacco has to show up every game ready to play. There is just too many excuses for Flacco.
  13. What games have you been watching? Just many more yards and TD is he supposed to give up to cause you some concern. Good players that play well may go thru slump. This headline is misleading.
  14. Terrence Brooks is with Eagles, unless he has recently been cut.
  15. I guess the defense is number 1 despite Shareece Wright. Incredible accomplishment.
  16. The problem with the Ravens offense is not Forsett. The problems are Trestman, O-line and Flacco in that order.
  17. That was not the play that decided the game. After that play we still marched and scored a TD, they then scored another TD, and we got the ball with about 2 mins left and 2 time outs. All we needed was a field goal. At least know the facts. The game was lost by the inability of the offense to execute all day
  18. I disagree. This is the NFL. He is a 9 yr veteren QB. Please stop with the excuses. The pass to Moore was thrown behind the WR. The one to Pitta was thrown into the grass and there was not perceptible pressure. What Flacco is as QB is far below what many players on the roster are at their respective positions. If he can raise his play we will be a formidable team. Do you realize that he played badly against both Cleveland and Jacksonville the throw to moore was right there. he has to catch that. the one to pitta was bad. all game flacco was getting hit. he has no time to throw. the loss goes on the lack of creativity of our offensive coordinator. where are the slants and crossing routes? why would harbs accept that penalty? it makes 0 sense? and then penalties? what is being done about this? if you hand the ball to the ref you will not get penalized. it is that simple! wallace, great 2 point conversion but we gave them 15 yards and they drove right down and got a td! time to bench shareece and can trestman Definitely time to bench Shareece Wright. To imagine that they just gave him a multiple year contract.

  20. No we can't. Just another fair weather fan!!!! No. Joe doesn't suck. He just isn't elite. Winners win that game. Joe made some awful throws on that last drive. Get it? Agree with 20306cab. It's frustrating to watch incredible competitors like Smith Sr. play their hearts out and have a player like Flacco lay an egg.
  21. This is clearly on Flacco. Far too many times he has done this. He has been the weak link more often than not. This defense has carried this man most of his career. He had one good run - the 2012 playoffs. He has parlayed that into 2 $120M+ contracts. I tell you, I really don't care much about the opinion of the sports media, but Flacco is the reason the Ravens don't get much respect despite our otherwise hard nosed tradition. I'm sure next week we'll be reading on these boards from some fans to put the ball in Joe Cool's hands. SMH!
  22. Great points. This front office is beginning to worry me. Corea appears so over matched that he is going to make Arthur Brown look like a pro bowler yet they passed on much better NFL talents to pick him. That story about if you want to make the roster, go make plays: it's so hilarious looking back at it now. Next time coach please wink when you say that.
  23. fans have been right about Ozzie screwing up before and they inevitably will be again. they're not all uninformed amateurs and he's not perfect. Couldn't have said it better.
  24. With Steve Smith coming off Achilles injury and Perriman's history, one would think that they would have kept Butler. Even signing Hester does not address the receiver issue. Hester is not a good WR. If either Perriman and or Smith gets injured, we're quickly back to last year. It has become the norm in the last few years for this organization to be scrambling in mid season for a problem that should have been solved in the preseason.
