  1. What game are you watching? The whole second half there's been no pocket. Please stop with the excuses. Go watch the 2 Ints. on tape. Most of the game the the jets brought pressure. However the 2 Ints were the result of 2 poor throws by Flacco especially the 2nd one. This is the NFL. You are not going to have all day to throw. He and the Oline has to do better. This is not all on the Oline. Clearly not the 2 Ints
  2. I know what you are saying but when he threw those 2 Ints he wasn't that much under pressure.
  3. This guy Flacco just would not let the Ravens play winning football. Time to bench him.
  4. That Stanley is inactive is surprising too, however foot injuries can be very tough to get over. He is obviously very valuable and they want him available down the stretch. They bye week can only help.
  5. And Joe will go as far as they'll take them, they need to stop not making the plays when Joe sets them up. Who has the $120M contract? To whom much is given much is expected! Joe Flacco ranks 24th among current NFL starting QBs. How much more badly can he play? We are trying to tell you that he has been the weak link this season. He needs to raise his game to catch up to the rest of the team. I've seen perfect passes dropped. It's not all about the stats. Joe might be off so far this year for whatever reason but it's not entirely his fault. Some yes but not all. If you want revolving QB's I suggest you find another team to root for. Flacco is the starter. Deal with it. Since 2012 Flacco has 65 TDs 50 Ints. In 2014 with Kubiak he had 27 TDs and 12 Ints. So if you disregard 2014, he has 38 TDs and 38 Ints. So his bad play is not just this year "for whatever reason" as you like to say. He is not living up to his huge contract. I guarantee you that if Flacco plays better we will be perennial super bowl contenders.

  7. Do you realize that the QB position is the least athletically and physically demanding position in football?
  8. Drive your point home and name your so called wimps

  10. Not worried much about his size as much as I am about his speed. He doesn't have a closing speed. However he is tough, smart and has great ball skills.
  11. If everybody on Oline starting line up plays except Yanda, that's 80% of the starting Oline
  12. Yeah Ryan Fitzpatrick is so good, and that's why they're benching him in favor of the no good Geno
  13. Joe is not like that and you know it. He has no ego and certainly can never be called complacent. Where are all these silly comments coming from? Wow! We've got another Flacco expert. "...he has no ego" really?
  14. I agree with cultural change for sure. By the time everything is settled there's gonna be a big overhaul, and our identity is likely to be something totally different.
  15. @Dedicated Raven, remember "hey diddle diddle Ray Rice up the middle" that was 4th and 29. Do you think this team can convert a 4th and 29? You know what, this team doesn't even believe it can. How do you get to 4th and 29? Penalties. How do you get out of 4th and 29? Make plays. That's the equalizer. That's what the article is implying, and I buy it.
  16. Believed you missed her point I.E. You cant bank on overcoming penalties and winning a Super Bowl just because it was done before. No I didn't. Penalty or not, you have to finish drives. Playmakers finish drives. Giants had 3 turnovers and we had zero turnovers, and they still won. The playmaking ability of OBJ made the difference. In 2012 we had more penalties than any other team and we still won the Super Bowl. We had players that made plays to overcome our mistakes. Ed Reed, Jacoby Jones, Torrey Smith, Anquan Boldin, Pitta. No one is saying penalties are good, however you can play penalty free game and if you don't finish drives you won't win. Penalties are bad but once again the numbers don't lie. Look at the numbers presented by Eisenberg. If the QB is inaccurate, the WRs are dropping the the ball, the Oline is missing assignments, the OC is not calling the right play depending on down and distance. You won't win regardless of how few a penalty you have.
  17. In 2012 we lead the league in penalties, the next year Seattle lead the league in penalties and they to won a Super Bowl. Penalties can be overcome by just going out there and making a play to rectify your previous mistake. That's what we don't do so well yet, that being said I liked the rhythm and flow of week one for our new OC. I think in the coming week we will be scoring a lot more points, but we still need to balance out our ratio. Honestly that penalty they called on NYG at the end of our last drive was complete BS, but they overcame that. so by what ur saying is the more penalties the better the chance of winning a Super Bowl? Sorry, not buying it. No Sami you missed the point. What's implied is that if you make plays consistently, you can over come penalties. Penalties didn't prevent Juszczyk from making that block that would have propelled West to the end zone
  18. Those passes you are talking about that Wallace dropped were poorly thrown away from him in the middle of the field. In the game against the Redskins, he was hit so hard because he had to lay out in the middle of the field that he suffered rib injury. The same type of deal in the Giants game except that the ball placement in that Giants game was even worse that he couldn't catch it. Look at the film.
  19. Agree! What is Campanaro doing back here except as a camp body. He didn't make the team. Asa is coming back as a camp body. Flacco is mediocre. If you don't believe me look at his stats. Numbers don't lie. It's like looking at a report card with F's and saying believe me I'm an honor student. I believe that the Ravens can fix every position, but as long as Flacco is the QB we will struggle to win games.
  20. Although I may criticize they still are My Team! This just helps me deal with the pain of losing. It's fine to criticize, just have some consistency please. You just said Flacco is a coach killer but poor Marty because the line is terrible now and better when Cam was fired. Flacco is fresh off an ACL which most quarterbacks take more than a year to get right after suffering, and he looks pretty darn good for the injury return, so much so that we forget he is still recovering from that. He has an all rookie left side of the line on his blindside then that gets traded and is in disarray and the right side is screwed up. So he looks frazzled from that and is ground down by the end of these games, to me he looks like he is playing in significant pain, but he is Joe, so he hides it well. He is getting killed unless he bootlegs on that injured knee. He gets leads consistently and then constantly has to regain them after the defense gives them right back up. He is still running Trestman's garbage offense for which Trestman was fired from Chicago for doing the exact same thing. This week now Marty is calling it until he can gradually put in his own play list. Flacco is not the problem. This week it was injuries. Outside the O-line, Jimmy was the worst, but Suggs may be the most serious since we have zero way to replace his skill set and talent, and Doom is out indefinitely. If Suggs is out then it will be similar to last year. I really wish we had Spence, either that or we didn't put KC through the Dean Pees cycle of overwhelming your new talent with so much out of position responsibility he can't play and is destroyed just like Elam and Brooks. If you think that Flacco is playing up to the caliber expected of a QB with $120M contract then something is wrong here. There are at least 20 QB in this league today playing much better than Flacco. Since 2012 Flacco has 65 TDs and 50 Ints. In 2014 with Gary Kubiak his stats was 27TDs 12 Ints, if you exclude the 2014 stats, he has 38TDs and 38 Ints. That's a definition of a system QB. When you look at his play - inaccuracies, inability to read defenses in his 9th yr, the uninspiring play etc. and you think that's acceptable? In the NFL you are supposed to compete. He is not. He is playing uninspiring football for a player making the veteran minimum much less $20M+ per year. There are a lot of players in this league right now that can play much better.
  21. Don't get your hopes up. They had KO but they let him walk. I think the organization likes to save money first and win later. The Oline will be another patch work next year - you can count on it. Until they realize that 1 KO is more valuable than any number of Hursts and Jensens, it will continue to be a patchwork Oline. Remember they were so quick to sign Shareece Wright. He was cheap. You get what you pay for.
  22. A painful slow decline of a once dominant franchise.
  23. Our offense has done basically nothing to win any of those games. When a product should be much better than what it actually is and has touted as such, I would like the product repaired- especially when I am either invested (purchasing either tickets or products) / emotionally invested. For the most part, I believe that as long as we have Flacco at the helm- many of the same issues will remain. Agree!
