  1. as long as we draft Ha Ha Clinton Dix, and sure up our center spot, between now and the regular season, then im happy
  2. Monroe has come to terms
  3. if you want a splash in free agency i think this could be a possible and think about how low of a cap hit dumervil was to us before you just this statement Byrd Monroe WR (tate, sidney, smith, etc) Center (any of the suggested) Resign Smith/Graham McCluster (play same role as Jacoby did for us) TE (daniels prob as familiar as he is with kubiaks offense) if we cant get graham, another nickel corner then in FA Rebuild rest in Draft if anything we saw the cap jump 10 million this year who says it wont keep at that pace? if you want a splash, that would be a splash. and just like dumervils contract we can get it so it doesnt put a big blow on us all at once, but figure out the numbers to ease as the cap goes up, remember Ngatas is in his final year after this next year, he can free up alot of cap, going forward in being cut, or restructured. IMO
  4. We dont have to offer him more, just offer him more then what the browns see his value at, if you are deciding to go that route. Also consider the fact browns might be taking on revis here shortly as thats the talk of most the sports websites
  5. Realistically we dont need a corner if we just keep graham, or ANOTHER STRONG SS. you picking Calvin Pryor in the draft is a horrible choice. why would you decide to go 2 strong safeties in the back field? if your going to use the draft for a safety you pick Ha Ha Clinton Dix, the actual true Free Safety, or you dont pick at all.
  6. Only chance id see smith working is if he kept his mouth shut, and took the league minimum to come over. Otherwise i see this as bad news any Revis talk we can just end it wont ever happen, we would be more likely to see Byrd here today then Revis, especially considering we could get Byrd at almost half the price. Compared to revis's 16mil a year
  7. I am with you until signing revis, unless he is released we have to give up something to get him. Id much rather take the extra money to get Byrd as a FS then spend anything on Revis, cause theres no say in if he is the revis of old, or the broken revis. yea you can justify the buc's didnt use him like they should have. but come on he isnt worth 16mil a year not in any specific order Smith, Marlon,Mallette, McCluster, Rice if he can stay healthy and Draft Evans Pitta/Daniels or Pedagrew
  8. i wasnt against your statement till you included revis and steve smith on people you want lol.
  9. rather have McCluster IMO
  10. id agree, but with out regular season experience we wont know, why sit on players for 3 years that havent produced when we can give someone like mallette a go, if he fails he fails, but if there is signs of potential growth then we know hes worth staying around. deonte Thompson and tandon doss, have had how many chances to prove themselves? yea tandon did much better after coming back but still not sold on him
  11. lol probably go to the bengals
  12. I think even if we just work on finding a better center, and locking up either our LT or RT we are pretty well set as far as a offensive line stand point. Alot of our line decisions come down to whether or not they can fit Kubiaks offense. i wouldnt be surprised if we let both our LT and RT walk and find ones better fitting in our offense
  13. Smith/Marlon/Pitta/Evans/Mallette/McCluster I kinda like that WR Core, just a thought
  14. from what we saw from mellete last preseason, I liked, alot of potential upside to the kid, i get its preseason and he was against the second and third receivers. But you can just tell he wants it, he wants to be in position to make plays and be apart of the 53 man roster. IMO
  15. Dexter McCluster, if Jacoby isnt willing to take what we offer.
  16. The Given - We will alter/change/rebuild our offense this off season, starting with our line, whether we go younger in the draft or in FA i think that has alot to do with who we pick as OC and if the player can adapt to, or is already familiar with zoneblocking. we as fans also have to get use to this zone blocking scheme we started with. If the proper pieces are put together such as coaching staff and roster personnel i believe we will be way better off then this last year. Uncertainty - Do we fix the offense in FA or in the draft? Who will be our next OC or group of Offensive coaches? I honestly dont see alot of our fixes being in the draft, just because i think the first pick or 2 will be on the opposite side of the ball. We have prided our team on the defensive side of the ball for so long, that I believe if a free safety such as HaHa Clinton-Dix or Calvin Pryor is available at 16, I think our staff will be likely to draft one with the first round pick, Hoping to find the next ed reed. obviously we havent found the answer at FS in our roster yet so im just being realistic on the chance one is available we will draft them. I know you can find decent OLmen in the second and third round, but they would be leaned more towards starting in the future and not right away (anything is possible though). However their is enough options in FA to work with the cap, and snag a big name or two there. Whether that is WR's/TE/OL it all is still fuzzy future, due to us still needing to find the OC. in a perfect world id like all 3 couches to come along, especially since they all have something to prove after last seasons fail by their old teams offenses. now who do i want to call the plays is still up in the air.
