I'm not faulting the offense because of what the special teams did. I'm just saying prior to that, we were held scoreless, seemingly unable to move the ball into the red zone. I'm saying it was a very short field, not like he smoothly and methodically moved the team down the field. That's the deceit I was referring to.
He was efficient, but was throwing those shorter routes, and it's not too difficult to miss those passes to your backs. He had a decent game, but if someone came up to me and said, "I saw Flacco had a pretty great night," Id argue the fact.
TDs and yardage don't really tell the tale, at least not for me. If you actually watch the game, you can be the judge of how well he played. Once again, I fully support Flacco, but his play wasn't that good.
