Giants and Jets are both winnable games. I just hope we rely more on the running game and someone else is calling the plays. The Ravens can just be the Road Warriors.

I'll feel better about this game if Trestman is fired this week:

The Ravens have no identity on offense. or at least one Trestman will recognize. We have a pretty good backfield. Pass should be priority number two. His system sucks.

If the Bengals lose, I'll feel a little bit better. Like, microscopic bit better.

Honestly, I've lost confidence. A good team beats Oakland and Washington. The Ravens aren't a good team. We need more of a run first approach and Trestman is just not into that. Shotgun snap after shotgun snap. Is play action not a thing anymore?

From there until the end of the game, it got worse. 9 plays, 5 runs - TD 5 plays, 2 runs 12 plays, 5 runs 6 plays, 1 run 3 plays, 1 run 3 plays, 0 runs - picked up 9 yards on the first play. next two plays ran out of shotgun formation. 4 plays, 3 runs - would have actually been a first for west, negated by penalty. 3 plays, 0 runs 4 plays, 3 runs - 26 yarder, and 3rd and long so a pass was warranted. 3 plays, 0 runs 4 plays, 0 runs 14 plays, 0 runs - final 2 and a half minutes. Yup, didn't abandon the run. This may be a little off. I had it at 20 attempts, not counting Flacco, and NFL has it at 18. 97 plays, 18-20 rush attempts?????????

Wow. I've tried to be supportive, but this game was trash. From top to bottom. I'm dumbfounded at calls of three straight passes.

There's just so much negativity. "We're the number one defense." "YEAH BUT." "Well, we're 3-1." "YEAH BUT." If anybody thought this team was gonna come out of camp, hitting on all cylinders, then they were only fooling themselves. Two rookies on the left side. Flacco back from ACL. Our starting HB from a year ago, gone. Perriman is basically a rookie. Wallace is new. Pitta is back after two years. I think the offense will gradually get better. If the offense is still sputtering weeks from now, I might be a bit concerned.

To be honest, if you were living under a rock for the past several weeks and you decided to check out how the Baltimore Ravens were doing after not watching any type of football, you'd assume we were 0-4, looking at this forum.

The Vikings I can root for. Don't really care for Oakland.
