  1. I think that has to be the hope. He should be enough to play a bigger role than Wallace.
  2. That would be an etremely conservative "want" for a first round pick. It's safe to say we're expecting much more than that from BP.
  3. That was cool to read. I like seeing another person's thought process spelled out, even if I disagree. I actually think there isn't much I find too disagreeable. I do think we try to find a place to keep Judon, perhaps at the expense of one of the Browns (Daniel, Arthur). If Arthur isn't going to contribute this season, his last under contract, I see little reason for us to keep him beyond preseason. Daniel might just be stuck in a position that is getting too crowded that we must make some tough decisions. I also agree with the Clay/Reynolds/Campanaro competition. I do think we want to still give Camp every opportunity to win that battle. If he's healthy this summer, I think he has the edge there, and one or both of the others we will try and stash away someway or another.
  4. Not bad classes you mentioned, especially where we were drafting due to massive success we had with multiple deep playoff runs, which I guess many think we managed in spite of poor player management?..
  5. Just pointing out that his data is for all teams, not just ours, so there are 32+ every season, and only three the past three years failed to make their teams' respective rosters.
  6. I'm so glad we drafted him and didn't give NE a chance to sign him later and give strokes to all their opponents' defensive coordinators for years.
  7. There's a player on NE (long snapper) that is serving his two years AND playing at the same time. He has to drive to his station after practice everyday to make it work. Reynolds will likely hope for the same opportunity and to be stationed somewhere near Baltimore (lot of options there).
  8. I know I knock people all the time for saying this about players because it isn't common for most rookie draftees to get scooped up after release before we can sign the on the PS, but there is no way Dixon would make it to the PS if he gets cut. He'd be on another roster somewhere for sure.
  9. I think all the fourths have a really good chance. Moore and Lewis are candidates for weekly healthy inactives, in my eyes, until injury/performance forces an opening. Reynolds is hard to figure. He has a shot at becoming our kick returner if he proves valuable enough on special teams in general. Judon and Ochi will be in a battle for an active/inactive spot near the bottom of the 53 until inevitable (hopefully short-term) injuries give them a chance to rotate in. Canady is likely looking for a PS spot, at best, along with the vast majority of the UDFAs.
  10. Guess our FO had a brain lapse due to over-excitement over drafting the best player in the draft. Any chance you smile and look for a bright side occasionally?
  11. Correa, Judon, Moore for Jack, not just Correa. I don't know if that will help people get over it better or not, just pointing out it wasn't a one for one.
  12. This pick might be bad news for a guy like Kaelin Clay because is see a similar role for Reynolds, especially if he has to split time with Naval duties and only ends up as a specialist.
  13. Our receiving group this year has a better-than-average chance of coming down with some Hail Mary's this year. Deep ball adjustments and high point specialists galore.
  14. We practice. We win. We repeat the cycle five months.
  15. I also think Morgan would have been better as a square pick, possibly even hexagon.
  16. It would stand to reason they had the best information regarding this considering it was their doctor that performed the surgery.
  17. This day was not fun for me. The draft is supposed to be fun, but it was just bleh. Too bad. Maybe we'll land five gems next round.
  18. Trade up for kicker. Afraid NE would take him?
  19. We are now finally in the range that we can move up again if that's our plan. Before this we would have had to give up way too much. I feel like we need to target and pounce now, though I have no idea on who.
  20. I'm in stitches on this forum tonight.
  21. My favorite was reading all the word play on Correa's name. That and the simple "nope" that was posted after our pick. Crap, gotta post and read more now that Alexander is gone.
  22. Hopping on here and reading through this thread from the start of the second round to now has me rolling on the floor. I'm dying of laughter, tears streaming down my face. I can't breathe. This has been one of the best reads I've had in a while.
  23. Madness.
  24. Arguably the top two defenders in the entire draft. I still can't believe that's a possibility. That's like one of the wacky scenarios I would think up for the "dream draft" thread.
  25. Not saying we should take Jack ahead of someone like Spence, but if the Jags do end up with both Ramsey and Jack...I can't even think of the words to express how crazy that is. Gus Bradley gets his defensive stars to pair with a rising offense full of young players.
