  1. Didn't we beat them like 9-6 last time we played?
  2. The Bride vs The Crazy 88 (Kill Bill Vol 1) has to be on this list. Another glaring omission is the fight in the rotating hotel hallway from Inception. Some others I, personally, enjoy include: The final fight in Bloodsport. Spider-Man vs the Green Goblin in the burning house. The final sequence from Equilibrium. The break into the factory in Wanted. Black Dynamite vs Ronald Reagan. New addition: the one-take match from Creed.
  3. I don't think you understand how these things work. Cap hits and amount the player receives in the year are not the same number. Flacco will likely increase the amount he makes next year and still lower his cap hit. It'll be a bonus that will be spread across an extension. Now, I'm not agreeing with anyone who thinks it will be lowered by $10M. I think it'll be more like 5-8, but still a decent boost.
  4. The movie it most resembles is one from the 80s called "Cannibal Holocaust". One of the first to use the "found footage" technique, and it is notorious for being banned and disgraced in many places throughout the world at one point or another. The filmmakers actually were tried for murder and had to prove in court that they used film trucks for the kill scenes because it was believed by many to be a snuff film. It has a great soundtrack and is pretty brutal, but nothing like an all time great. As for the movie you saw, I think Eli Roth movies are garbage all the way through. I love almost everything horror, but his movies don't work for me.
  5. Never said they couldn't, I said they had to show it. And Wilson has to show he can throw all those TDs and no picks against real defenses.
  6. The Seahawks will need to prove they can beat those two teams, which have both beaten them already. The games will not be in Seattle, either.
  7. Haha
  8. Maybe not against St. Louis, but c'mon. Have we even sniffed 20 points since he got hurt? I know we scored twice on special teams the first game, and I think the offense has scored two touchdowns the last three weeks combined. Our offense wasn't Pittsburgh's, but it was MUCH better with Joe than without.
  9. Seeing the whole field must have given Eli a great view of all his picks during the multiple seasons he led the league in that category. Also, he'll need to miraculously make the playoffs and then upset a team like Seattle in order to not go WINLESS in the playoffs for the tenth time in twelve seasons. If you're suggesting that he's better than Flacco, you're crazy. If you're simply saying they aren't close enough to compare, I couldn't agree more. As for the Tannehill comparison, you should probably watch some more game tapes if you feel it is anywhere close.
  10. Personally, I'm okay with keeping up the streak of consecutive prime time games alive for the league's best rivalry. We won't be gone long, so I'm assuming this will be the only matchup of the near future that is meaningless for one of the teams.
  11. We did lose a lot of games, but it's hard for me to find a 35-6 loss anywhere in the Joe games. We were at least competitive and made teams work for it.
  12. Flacco, as we all know, is the only QB to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons. Wilson is the only guy going right now who has a shot to get that in a couple years. However, he is also the only QB to START a playoff game in each of his first five years. Dalton's injury means there is a good chance that record is not broken, either, for at least a couple more seasons.
  13. Well said. It's like they get too caught up in trying to prove that Flacco is as great as they believe that they focus too much on playing to his strengths, disregarding those around him. News flash, if no one around him is capable of doing the things they think Joe needs them to do, you have to try something else. Joe is the quarterback, and he is capable of adapting to the skill set around him, but they haven't even asked him to do that since they paid him. They've been trying to force everyone else to adapt to him. Square pegs don't fit into round holes.
  14. It took us that long to get this current rotation of receivers due to injuries and performance issues, to be fair. However, I agree that I would have loved for them to do this more often before we were forced to with backup QBs.
  15. We are clearly playing to their strengths and scheming them properly now. I'm convinced they have emphasized more on the supporting cast without Joe because they believed before that all they needed to do was focus on Joe alone and the rest would work itself out.
  16. Doubling down Jimmy Clausen-Conrad Rueland for the perfect lineup challenge. Who's with me?
  17. Jennifer Lawrence doesn't like doing the long makeup sits and early calls. That's not the whole reason, but I promise you it is a factor.
  18. I'm guessing it's at least a major concern, hence the move.
  19. I think we would sign another QB if we really doubted Schaub's availability.
  20. For how long? A quarter? Quarter and a half? I think we lose by nine just to make it harder to swallow.
  21. Kaelin Isabelle Bradley born at 12:10 on 12/10! Mother and she are happy and healthy! 8lbs 5oz (P.S. We picked the name out long before the last Browns game!)
  22. Holy cow, wife in labor! Keep the positive vibes from yesterday's surgery going. No. 2 on the way!
  23. His follow-up in January will go exponentially better.
  24. I think the league and other owners pushed for it in a desperate attempt to make it seem as though things are going forward. I have no idea how it will affect the process. Right now, I feel like we're Ben Simmons or bust and several more years of losing at an historic rate.
