No to Reed and Clark... unless they would sign for the vet minimum.. on 1 year deals We still have yet to see the post-draft cuts. I still think there are younger vet options out there but who wouldn't want to see Ed back with the Ravens. I agree, his leadership and mentor ability is immeasurable and worth significantly more than his contract would be. But this is not the Ed of old and he never will be. some of you need to come to terms with that.

We wont sign a FA just because they are an FA. There are lots of things to consider and we believe in the ppl on the roster. I not upset with no getting Decker and think we can do with Cromartie and Sanders. Mack would be nice but expensive, i think.. Still alot of offseason left and this is only the beginning of the bunch.

$3 mil is being paid by CAR regardless.. we would only need to pay another $4 IF we wanted to match his currently salary. Something, i think, more in the range of $2-2.5 this yr + 3 next year is more fitting (signing bonus notwithstanding). Smith is a vet guy and probably not going to sign a 1 yr deal.

I would love to have one of my favorite Fantasy players, Steve Smith, play for my fav team. No way i would consider him in a trade.. but if he was cut, i think Ozzie would be silly not to consider him. He is still formidable at his age, still good speed and hands and has the intangibles that he could pass on to younger receivers. Also, i am biased and would love to him in a Ravens uni.

Lance Moore is reportedly being cut by the Saints... what are some thoughts on him... i've really liked this kid and he should be a bargain for his skills set.
