  1. Maybe we should give Pitta as many reps as possible in the pre-season games, rather than going soft with him. Then, we'll know with more certainty whether we can count on him. The hip is probably as strong as it will get at this point, so better to know sooner, rather than later. Opens up our options too.

  2. The 4 teams drafting 7- 10 all need an LT. I suspect that one of them may try to move ahead of us to take Tunsil although I'm not sure what it would cost them to do it.

Which teams 2-5 do you think will not trade down?

  3. Why? Because he had a bout of immaturity? I think Houston humbled a lot by releasing him. Maybe he got it together and learned some selflessness?

Had you posted this reply on Dec 18, rather than on the 28th, it would have seemed a lot less disingenuous. However, maybe he has grown up, and if Flacco is not ready at the start of the season, at least we have a potentially good backup.

  4. I think we'll find a way to keep KO, but only if it's as a LT. However, I think the decision will rest more with Flacco than our FO.

Not many teams will pay him Osemele as an LT, but I think we will. And assuming he would prefer to be a Raven, I think he'll be flexible in structuring a deal that let's us eat Monroe's contract next year.

  5. Will 'the thrill' Hill lived up to his name! He came up with perhaps one of the most thrilling plays to end a game for us with a 'W'! It ranks up there with Ray Lewis' stop in San Diego, Ray Rice's 4th & 27 run and Jacoby's miracle in Mile High catch!

Completely agree. The only irony is that on those other plays I was screaming my head off, but on the Kick Six, I was LMAO. Probably because it was Cleveland.

  6. Not sure a new contract makes him a better kicker again, and it comes with risk. If the pressure of possibly making a whole boatload of money is that tough on him, I think we'd all like to work under that kind of pressure. Franchising him, as someone suggested earlier, seems to be the fair thing to do for all concerned.

  7. IMO, we should have kept Renner as our backup QB coming out of camp, and eaten Shuab's contract, which was a bad signing to begin with.

If ever a player earned a spot based on performance, it was Renner. He showed that he understood the position and that the game wasn't too big for him.
