  1. Hester isn't that much older than Usain Bolt. Just sayin'.
  2. My concern with Bosa is that he just might not prove to be all that great.
  3. I'm surprised "The Turk" has survived this age of political correctness. Arrington seemed like such a good signing at the time, but for whatever reasons he just hasn't worked out. They may let him go early simply as a veteran courtesy.
  4. We sure seem to have an abundance of TE's. Good ones, too. Looks like Pitta could return to form, although I think we'll be very cautious with him. Who do we keep? What do we do with the excess?
  5. Maybe we should give Pitta as many reps as possible in the pre-season games, rather than going soft with him. Then, we'll know with more certainty whether we can count on him. The hip is probably as strong as it will get at this point, so better to know sooner, rather than later. Opens up our options too.
  6. I thought we only drafted choirboys.
  7. An injury to an athlete, especially one who depends on speed to be elite, is a very traumatic experience. And when it doesn't heal as fast as you hoped, it produces lots of anxiety too. We all want to see BP contribute, but none more than he does.
  8. The 4 teams drafting 7- 10 all need an LT. I suspect that one of them may try to move ahead of us to take Tunsil although I'm not sure what it would cost them to do it. Which teams 2-5 do you think will not trade down?
  9. If the Rams wanted Goff, they probably didn't have to jump all the way to #1.
  10. Great news about Gilmore, but at some point can we really keep more than 3 TE's? How does this play out?
  11. Another none QB off the board? In the long run, I think the Browns made just another mistake, but they are the Browns.
  12. I can't imagine the Browns signing RGIII, nor him signing with the Browns, unless there was an agreement that he would start. I can also see the Browns drafting Bosa because in addition to being a good player, he also provides some "Bownie Points" with the fan base.
  13. I'd give them Flacco for Thomas and a 2nd rounder, then draft Wentz.
  14. Had you posted this reply on Dec 18, rather than on the 28th, it would have seemed a lot less disingenuous. However, maybe he has grown up, and if Flacco is not ready at the start of the season, at least we have a potentially good backup.
  15. I though the O-line played very well, especially in pass blocking. Osemele looked like a decent LT, too. Zadarius Smith also impressed me. He was all over the field and showed a good motor. Kamar is simply a good receiver. If he was faster, he'd be a stud.
  16. I think we'll find a way to keep KO, but only if it's as a LT. However, I think the decision will rest more with Flacco than our FO. Not many teams will pay him Osemele as an LT, but I think we will. And assuming he would prefer to be a Raven, I think he'll be flexible in structuring a deal that let's us eat Monroe's contract next year.
  17. If it was actually gold, it might not be so horrible. These pants are mustard yellow, which sucks. Maybe we're trying to distance this team from Ravens teams of the past.
  18. Mallet is not a Ravens type player in the least. In fact, he's the opposite. He'll behave for a while, but if he ever gets to play, he will revert to being a PIA. And if he plays well, he'll be even worse.
  19. He's gonna be a star. You heard it here first.
  20. wouldn't you make an adjustment so that it doesn't keep happening?
  21. Completely agree. The only irony is that on those other plays I was screaming my head off, but on the Kick Six, I was LMAO. Probably because it was Cleveland.
  22. Not sure a new contract makes him a better kicker again, and it comes with risk. If the pressure of possibly making a whole boatload of money is that tough on him, I think we'd all like to work under that kind of pressure. Franchising him, as someone suggested earlier, seems to be the fair thing to do for all concerned.
  23. I agree, and think it's in the best interest of both parties.
