Bengals going crazy heavy on offense.

It's crazy how Steelers, Bengals, and Browns are going more dynamic on offense.  Adding weapons left and right.  We are going in the opposite direction and loading up on D.

Defense wins championships. And I think our weapons are better than some are giving them credit for.

Here's how I might explain his film...

SDSU ran some zone, and he's not really quick enough to play zone on the backside. What I've seen so far shows that he can do playside zone blocking and he punishes people on gap, but the scoop blocking from the backside is a weakness.

I have to say, you're one of my two go tos for Oline tape on this board. So I hope you're right and trust your opinion.

So, what's the deal with Siragusa? Ranked 2nd in both pass and run, had the best combine of all the guards, yet nobody was really talking about him and he dropped to mid 4th in underwhelming OL class? Who is crazy here?

He did play at SDSU, which isn't exactly world renowed for football.

That being said, I think we got a steal here. I had Siragusa going the top of round three.

See, I do have a question. His combine numbers were phenomenal, and as I watch film right now, they did run some zone.

I think this is a clear indication -- along with the Alex Lewis pick last year -- that we want to get away from zone. But, I think this is a guy who can be a zone guy sometimes. I think he'd project well as a guard playing in the inside zone.

But make no mistake: This guy is a power blocker. We're gonna run Iso and Power for days behind him.

That makes sense since Roman does implement the usage of several schemes. We need to go find a scheme versatile guy at center.

He ain't no zone blocker so that shows a lot about where we're going but holy moly this guy next to Stanley? With Yanda two slots down? We finally have that nasty, mean bully.

Yup. I actually like the oline now. I hope my boy Guerillmo falls and we get Mangold so we can let him develop. I wonder if we take another guard, and put Yanda at center?

Just wondering, you think our o line will be set with that? A rookie LG, mangold at C(not sure if we'll get pro bowl mangold) and then kick out what I'd still consider a rookie because he never played a full season his 1st year to RT? Honestly I'm not comfortable with that, not now, not after last years performance. I hope I become comfortable like you.

Mangold should at least be solid. An upgrade over Zuttah he was still better last year. I think Nico could be good off the bat, and Lewis could be good at RT.
