Yeah man. Flacco doesn't have that fast twitch muscle. Not a good Quarterback at all. He clearly will never win a super bowl. He just locked on to Boldin all day. Screw him.

Just now, PurpleHorseman said:Mike Wallace doesn't have the speed at 31-32 whatever is that he displayed 7 yrs ago. Hoping max shows up and mentioning the receivers you did as helpful demonstrates how bad the offense is.
Yet Wallace is still probably one of the ten fastest players in the league. Maxx still has a high ceiling, not his fault that he got hurt/Marc Trestman is a moron
45 minutes ago, The Raven said:Because of the oline additions, I'm feeling a bit better about the offense this season. A good run game and good pass protection opens up so much for an offense.
I agree. However, I do think we should add Mangold and/or Dunlap. I like Siragusa but would rather see him at G. I also think that the team might like Lewis at guard(for some reason) and they think that sitting Siragusa and letting him develop into the starting C.
I actually don't have too big of an issue going forward. Mike is still a deep threat, and I think Perriman continues to develop. Likewise, I also think that Maxx shows up, and becomes a good option himself. I think Dixon, West, and Woodhead are good players. Maybe we think we can get a guy, (Brian Hartline, Andrew Hawkins, Stevie Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Cecil Shorts, hell, even an Anquan Boldin or Josh Gordon) that we think we can kick the tires on to be a third option, as Moore did not show much.
But I agree. I think that if we can improve the oline a little more, and we field an average offense... We're a playoff team

You know.. You have a point.
2 minutes ago, ravensdan said:Sixth round you are looking for a solid STer. No WR in the Sixth is going to see the field.
Happy we just decided to go all in on a dominant d the entire offseason. I never thought a WR was a huge concern. I'm sure they can get a vet possession guy like Boldin, although I'd love to see a trade for Decker.
Oline is is a major problem. They need mangold to come in and be a healthy starter. I guess Lewis will be the RT and goose 2 will be the RG or Urschel maybe. I just don't like the starters, the durability or the depth. Good thing is I don't think anyone in our division will have an overall scary pass rush.

Besides us you mean? ![]()
I'm going to give you all my draft grades for this overall process.
Round One: Marlon Humphrey, CB
Marlon was my third best corner. Would have been fourth if not for Conley's allegations. Overall, I like the player. He's very good with the ball in front of him, I think he's a good fit in our defense, he covers a need. I like Humphrey himself. He's not the problem here with this grade. I'd give this a B+ if it weren't for a certain factor: I thought there was better talents on the board such as Jonathan Allen, and OJ Howard. I have to take a lot of points off the overall grade. I have a feeling that we settled overall. Poor Humphrey, he's gonna be hated by so many people even though he's more likely than not to be a good defensive back in this league. Especially with the improvements made with the pass rush. But I would've much rather taken a risk with Allen.
Player Grade: B, Humphrey is more likely than not to be a good pro. I expect him to take over the starting job later on in the season.
Overall Grade: C, there was better value on the board.
Round Two: Tyus Bowser, SAM
Sometimes Ozzie Newsome pisses me off and then makes up for it immediately. I'm a big fan of Tyus Bowser. Not as big as @rmw10 is but a big fan nonetheless. He's not a pure edge player, but he can play both ILB and at times OLB. He's a chess piece who could honestly become a Jamie Collins 2.0. He's got an insane amount of upside, and is freakishly athletic. He needs to be coached up in certain aspects, but he's already very good in coverage and should be a damn good blitzer. This is a great pick.
Player Grade: A+
Overall Grade: A+, Bowser is gonna be a good player. Possibly immediately.
Round Three: Chris Wormley, DLine
Probably my least favorite pick of the bunch. There are other players I would have rather taken here(including the one we drafted right after him), and overall I was not a fan. That said, that doesn't mean he's bad. He's Lawerence Guy 2.0. He'll get on the field. He'll do the dirty work. He'll be a good player. But this dline class sucked. Any other year, he's probably a 4th-5th rounder. Likewise, we basically traded Jernigan for Wormley. I'd rather have Timmy.
Player Grade: B-, He's Lawerence Guy 2.0. He'll be good but has a low ceiling, but is a high effort guy and a jack of all trades, especially a master of none.
Overall Grade: C-. I would have rather spent the pick on the offensive side of the ball, and I would have rather taken our next guy.
Round Three pt 2. Tim Williams, EDGE
Meet our next edge rusher for the next decade. Tim Williams, if he can stay out of trouble (knock on wood) is a bonafide pass rushing stud. Without the character concerns, we are talking about him at 16. But to get him here? Quite possibly the steal of the entire draft. He's a legit top 20 talent, who fell here because of character concerns. He was easily the best player available, and by himself upgrades the pass rush. And that's without Bowser. He could be a guy who gets 10-15 sacks and a boatload of pressures a season. Please stay out of trouble Tim. If you do, you're gonna be a star in this league.
Player Grade: A+
Overall Grade: A+. This is our best pick by far. The value is amazing.
Round Four: Nico Siragusa, OG
Nico Siragusa (no relation to Tony). He's gonna be a starter, and probably be better than Alex Lewis was at OG this season. He fits Greg Roman's offense to a T. I think he starts immediately and is good with the potential to make a few pro bowls one day. As much as I like the pick, he needs some work but I think he's gonna be better than Lewis was last year, and Lewis will then kick out to RT.
Player Grade: B
Overall Grade: A. I had him going a round earlier. I think this is great value.
Round Five: Jermaine Eluemenor, OG
Eh.. Not my favorite pick in the world. He has a lot of upside, and seems to be passionate about the game. However, he is very raw and I could easily see him failing as well. He's physical, and has a lot of potential, but I'm eerie.
Player Grade: C
Overall Grade: C-. I would have liked to see us go a different direction rather than guard depth here. I don't think this pick is bad, but it is average.
Round Six: Chuck Clark, S
I can't hate this pick too much even if he's not the VT player I wanted. He's rock solid and should be good depth almost immediately. Although I do raise an eyebrow as our first backup would literally be a starter on almost every team except for Seattle. And Levine is a good backup as well. I think we made the Clark pick solely for special teams which pisses me off as I would have rather had a WR here. But all in all, he's probably going to be a good STer.
Player Grade: C. He's average. Nothing more.
Overall Grade: D. The value just isn't there for me.
Overall Player Grades: B+. I can't complain too much about we drafted. I think Humphrey, Bowser, Wormley, Williams and Siragusa are all good players and will see the field a decent amount with Williams, Wormley, and Siragusa outright starting. I do think that the other guard we drafted has upside. I think Clark isn't terrible and could be a good backup/STer.
Overall Draft Grade: B-/C+. Those of you who have been to college know that if you tried, and went to office hours, your professors will usually give you slack and round up if you are within a half precentage point. I have this at around that range. I'm not sure whether I should round up or not. All in all, hindisight applies, I'd do this draft drastically differently for all but three of the picks. While I see Humphrey, and Wormley becoming good players, I felt as if there was better talent on the board in Allen, Howard, I would have taken Fabian Moreau over Wormley, or A'Darius Stewart. I think the players themselves are actually very good for the most part(last two picks left a lot to be desired), and that we found some good value with Williams and Bowser. I also have to take a lot of points off the board for leaving the offense hanging. I can't believe that our oline has somehow gotten WORSE throughout this process. And I am upset in particular that we didn't take WR.
Final Draft Grade: F. No Jake Butt= Automatic Failure
I liked the players we drafted. A lot more than most. But the value, and straight up neglect of the offense makes me raise my eyebrows.

Would you have taken TJ watt over Bowser?
No. Frankly I'm kind of happy the Steelers took TJ Watt.
Just now, rmw10 said:
WE only signed him because Ozzie thought his first name was "Bama"
I could honestly see Siragusa as a day one starter, and a good one. I also like that this move potentially forces Lewis out to RT. I think we should sign Nick Mangold.
1 minute ago, Cville-Raven said:It's pretty hilarious. Like 6th rounders are really going to make or break a draft.
I'm mad that we passed up on Ford, but at the same time I can't hate Clark. He seems like a solid player.
If we wanted to go defense again I would've taken Ejuan Price though.

Get the Old Bay Ribs at Mission BBQ.They are amazing.
Best advice possible.
Also as for advice
"I'm sorry Ozzie Newsome doesn't care about you"
Not the VT guy I would have gone with but I cannot hate it. Good depth player.
Just now, ravensnation5220 said:Bucky Hodges never really had great game tape....cant remember him making many contested catches
I wasn't the biggest Hodges fan but all in all here, I'd like it
