  1. Patriots fans are talking about how perhaps their team used hot air to inflate the balls prior to being given to the referees for inspection. According to their math, balls inflated to 13 PSI with 112 degree air would then drop to about 11 PSI at the game time temperature.

Pats fans are literally using that as an excuse to say how they didn't break the rules.

LOLWUT. This is how low they go. They think that its acceptable to inflate their balls with hot air in order to hide the fact that their balls are going to be under inflated from the refs.

So they think that blowing up the balls with whatever is in their heads will make a difference in this Eh?

  2. eh not sure Forsett is all that much of a receiving threat. Not saying he doesn't do it, but not seeing him as a strong receiving threat like would be needed.

Forsett is a capable reciever. 44 receptions, 5 less than Torrey. We can probably draft a Gurley who's good at it as well.

Trestman isn't bad. We ran a dink and dunk last year. We should be fine. He's not as good as Kubiak but he has a good offensive mind

  3. We ran a dink and dunk last year and if not for injuries in the secondary, would probably be in the super bowl right now. We lose Torrey, who's not really that suited for a dink and dunk offense...

We can run it. Our offense was not the problem this past season.. We should pick up a #1 WR, but if we pick up a few quality weapons we'll be fine.

  4. Here's some info about the Chicago Bears Offense under Trestman. What we see here is a very efficient offense in 2013, and a huge regression in 2014. The concerns about his reluctance to run the ball seem warranted in both years. Does anyone know what could account for the offense's regression in 2014? Looks to me like the offensive line got worse, for one.

    2013

    Total YPG – 8th (382/game) PPG – 2nd (27.8/game) TOP – 8th (31:02)

    Passing: Attempts – 16th (36/game) YPG – 5th (267/game) YPA – 7th (7.7/attempt)

    Rushing: Attempts – 24th (25/game) YPG – 16th (114/game) YPA – 7th (4.5/carry)

    Sacks: 4th (30) QB Hits: 20th (85)

    2014

    Total YPG – 21st (327/game) PPG – 23rd (19/game) TOP – 17th (30:13)

    Passing: Attempts – 7th (38/game) YPG – 15th (237/game) YPA – 29th (6.6)

    Rushing: Attempts – 30th (22.2/game) YPG – 27th (90.1) YPA – 16th (4.1)

    Sacks: 19th (41) QB Hits: 17th (82)

Cutler taking the money and running?

  5. Thinking Jason may have some inside info on this one, since this is the first I know of that Marrone has been mentioned.

I'd be shocked if Doug Marrone was not one of the first candidates the Ravens look to as offensive coordinator. If not the 1st candidate

    .

    Another option.

I agree that none of these guys are Kubiak but it doesn't mean they're bad. Remember, we won a SB with Caldwell as the OC and he was terrible the year afterward. We'll be fine if they're decent. Just calm down haha

  6.

I think he was limited by personnel. Also, the running game was not the problem in the playoff loss. Manning couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

Why would Manning be sitting on the boat when it was being towed to the docks on the highway? :P

Im leaning toward ADAM GASE, Really isnt anyone else left.

    Either him or Trestman.

You can not blame it all on Trestman for Cutlers serious faults. Trestman may be a supposed genius, BUT you cant fix stupid.

Not against Trestman. I mean, I'd be pass happy too with freaking Jefferey and Marshall as my WRs.... I suppose Gase wouldn't be terrible. Someone did bring up the point about his adjustments....
