  1. We don't need any WR. Joe Flacco walked into New England with old men Steve Smith and Owen Daniels, a hobbled Torrey Smith, and a bunch of people who are #3 WRs, and he threw four TDs on one of the best secondaries in the entire NFL, and even with two interceptions had one of the best games of his career. A WR would be nice, but it's not as big of a necessity as we make it out to be. We are not desperate. Retaining Torrey is probably what is going to happen . Blame Torrey Smith all you want. If our corners are healthy, we're never in that position. He's not a #1 and he never will be.. But that doesn't mean he isn't good. He makes defenses respect him.

We need to invest in the secondary during FA. Corners take forever to develop in the draft. It took Jimmy 3 years before he became a consistent starter. Same with Webb. Hell, it's Asa's fourth and when he was healthy he was a decent slot CB in his third year. See a pattern?

Names that are classic Ozzie Newsome moves

    Kareem Jackson

    Darius Butler(upgrade at slot CB)

    Walter Thrumond III

    Alan Ball

    Davon House

Any one of those guys would put our defense over the top.It gives us a competent third corner.

And if we do restructure Ngata's contract and Yanda's contract, don't be afraid to throw big money at a guy like Byron Maxwell. It'll never happen but great corners don't grow on trees.

  2. I'll listen to trade talks regarding players at OLB, CB, DL and TE on my team. Send me a message. Not looking for a lot. Pretty flexible depending on the player. Obviously not giving away guys like Bennett, Pitta, Gillmore, Jimmy, Suggs, Dumervil here. Just to be clear

But you didn't say Flacco. I guess he's on your block.

    QB Needy teams go!

  3. My most improved teams thus far in no particular order. These are the teams I would hate for the packers to play. They'd also go for some amazing games if they happened in real life).

Ravens(Yay for secondary additions and already solid front 7. You have given yourself a young defensive corps while adding a very good slot corner and a good corner in DJ Hayden. Need a running back and WR. But otherwise good stuff. Also adding Alonso with Mosley gives you two of the best young MLBs in the game to go along with Suggs and Dumervil on the edges. That's unfair)

Bengals(Your sole improvement is you added Drew Brees. With AJ green and company, and a real run game, and a real offense, and a good defense... It's a hell of an improvement... )

Eagles(Need a QB. Don't like Dalton. But the defense as a unit is vastly improved and he has some good weapons. Kelce bros United at last. Just go get a QB... Even if Dalton has a wide open Wr on every play, his time with the bengals shows that it won't be good enough)

Broncos(Adding Dareus and Daniels(sorry) to go along with Wolfe were impressive additions to the line. Not to mention Irving is a good fit next to Miller).

Rams(Eli Manning goes to a team with a good defense.... That front four even without Chris Long is a pretty good one I must say. They need to shore up the line, but they have the weapons to work with)

Packers(Run defense actually exists now. Got a lot older but team is still pretty young as a whole. Giving Rodgers and elite talent like Marshall also unfair....)

    Honorable Mentions

Kansas City Cheifs(expect a big WR signing day from you. But good stuff)

Minnesota Vikings(Paid a high price, but improved your defense and got Bridgewater a valuable target).

Chicago Bears(getting rid of Jay cutler is always an improvement)

Steelers(Addition by subtraction In salaries. Shored up the LB corps. But had to rid of Timmons)

  4. PaRAYdise (KC Chiefs) put in a bid for Antrell Rolle for 1.0 stars on post 118 of the Secondary thread.

Lost in Translation (GB) put in the same exact bid on page 8 (I believe 143 or something like that)

My bad. I searched for it using control f. But Antrel Rolle is spelled differently. Should've looked through the rest of the thread

  5. I actually think Norwell and Turner have the potential to be excellent guards. With a year under their belts, they should improve in year two. Then, pairing Matt Kalil with his brother really helped solidify every OL spot but RT which I will be addressing. Lol. I think the OL is coming along nicely. And did you see Stewart and Whittaker down the stretch? Very solid combination.

Potential is something I wouldn't mess with on the lines. Not telling you what to do but I'd go get an experienced OG or two just in case.

I did. I wouldn't take either to be my primary RB
