Truth now with 2 picks in the last first. Also adds the Packers preseason superstar from last year.

Erving may not be a sexy pick, but he is the right man for me.  I had A.Q. Shipley set to start at C, which likely wouldn't have ended well.  The one position that can ruin an offense if no quality starter is available (other than QB) is C.  Erving flourished in his move to C at the end of the season for FSU.  I feel like he is being very underrated at this point in the draft process.

 

I was going to take him at #21 if I wasn't able to secure a trade.  Instead, I pick up a 3rd round pick and move a 6th to a 7th while still getting my guy.  Win/win scenario.  I was worried the Chiefs would take Erving as they needed a C, so I traded up.

 

Erving rounds out an OL that should be very good:

 

Cordy Glenn -- Matt Slauson -- Cameron Erving -- Terron Armstead -- Zach Strief

I hate to admit it.. It's a pretty good line actually.
