  1. Darby is the superior athlete, but I agree Williams has better technique and more consistent play.

Williams is also really physical. Too physical at times ala Browner. But would be a quality selection for us on draft day.

If we took Darby Id be furious

  2. I like Ronald Darby at 50. Underrated in my opinion.

Opposite for me. Hated his tape. Thought williams was the superior player and Darby had to take on number twos.

All subject to opinion I guess. I'm happy I didn't need a corner. I hate almost all of them except PJ williams and Waynes

  3. If he can make all the throws, work through his progressions quickly, and read defenses, then why is the offense limited? I doubt a head coach will limit the offense if the quarterback is capable.

I could be wrong here, but quite a quarterback doesn't generally average 41 sacks over the course of THREE years because of the offensive line. That's a problem also of internal clock and ability to get the ball out when pressure is coming.

It was outside the pocket, not just on the run.

Yeah, I'd imagine he would have a good completion percentage when a quarter of his throws are behind the LoS and almost 50% are six yards or less

I went to a UCLA game this year. UCLA vs Utah with my cousin(Utes fan). My god. Not only was the oline beyone HORRENDOUS(gave up ten sacks. Including three on three consecutive plays), but the playcalling is beyond predictable.

First play. Ineffectice screen pass that doesn't work/

Second play: run up the middle for four yards

Third play: Obvious passing situation but Hundley didn't have a half second to throw...

Hundley has done dumb things, but he's shown the athletic ability and the arm to be good. He won't be good right away though. He needs time to develop. I think Gabe uses Dalton as a stop gap before giving up on him..

But for every dumb thing he does, he makes a good play shortly afterwards.  I think he's going to be good. Just not pro ready yet. He needed another year

  4. Yeah, nice adds as well. You should be able to keep the LBs clean, but even if you can't, I think Perryman will wreck guys. He's that old-school bad-butt LB that you wanted to see out there on Sunday. He hits you in the mouth and knocks out your teeth and then he chews them. Then he makes gravy from your bones--your bones!

    OK, I'll stop.

I have concerns about his coverage abilities. I was so mad when Kendricks was taken. He would've easily been my pick.

  5. I think that was the right pick in every way. Lynch wrecked Green Bay. Getting Ngata on that DL with Perryman helps improve that run defense by a lot. I don't expect Lynch to have the same success as he did last year against that defense and honestly I believe Perryman will be the difference maker between GB winning and losing.

I also added Brinkley, and Bunkley. Both damn good run defenders. Even with losing Williams I have a good secondary.
