Truth and Grim were telling me. They gave me pointers haha.Ding, we have a winner. Be nice to have ClintLB8 staying online for the next hour so we can get a bit of movement once the skip comes into play, but a 12-hour wait isn't the end of the world.
The 24-hour waits from the Draft a Franchise game were an awful lot worse, especially when people started making a habit of it (and I could have sworn at least one person was doing it intentionally).
We have a little over 2 hours remaining before the spot is skipped. I thought this afternoon Detroit was looking to trade up and they were actually on the clock. What ever happened with that.
Maybe it's a busy/hard time for the guy. But him some slack.
Real life more important the game.
Possibly. There's still a few guys Id consider selecting at the position myself. And I already took one haha.Could this be the deepest RB draft ever? There are multiple guys I'd be happy to get, and that's a rarity.
Truth be told. My top Targets were Gurley and Coleman. I thought Gurley would fall to 29 in round one. But nope haha.
Excellent pick in Davis btw. Love his all around game. But don't see him as a rb #1. But a damn good #2. If Duke wasn't there, Davis was my target
At this rate....
This game is so fast
Thanks. Athletically he's a quality prospect as well. I make no allusions though that he could just as well bust but I wanted a guy at OLB and I like him. I think I also do a good job scouting two certain positions and I have a huge list of players from which to pick all graded relatively the same. That's why I chose Emanuel.
I first noticed Emanuel watching EJ Bibbs of Iowa State. In that game he was a dominant player. Again, with small school guys I look for domination and he did that to Iowa State. I watched other games of his as well. I think he's very underrated. Then again, who knows, maybe he'll go UDFA and make me look stupid lol.
I'll see if I can find his stats from the Iowa State game.
I'm convinced you hacked into my computer and stole my board. I must end you...
I can't believe Carl Davis lasted this long. His motor runs hot and cold, but still he's a great value.
I was so considering trading up for the guy.
Yup. And also the perfect compliment to Lacy if he actually manages to stay healthy(somehow). Could be a good third down back as wellI really like Duke as well. 2nd round is perfect for him imo.
Yup.Caught!
I am interested in trading up fwiw
Well. That's a partial lie. My BPA is still there actually.. But there's a huge reason why I passed him up. I might trade up for him if he falls a little more.I wasn't questioning Duke as a RB but I do question him as a 2nd rounder and don't think he was a BPA at that point. But all that matters is that it's your view of your team, all good.
Why would you spend 2nd round pick on the complementary RB? I know they're flying of the board but I feel people are missing on some good talent on impulse.
To add onto this. Duke was my BPA. If you go read my mock I fully believe in his ability to be a good RB. I have watched extensive tape of the guy. His only problem is his weight. And I think he can add more. He's got good speed, and is a natural receiver out of the backfield. Needs to improve as a pass protector, sure. But he won't be my full time starter.
I'd accept a trade involving one of these players. I'd no longer be angry at you.
No forgiveness. Especially after what he's done to me
See BmoreBird22s post.Lt: James hurst, Byron Bell
Lg: Cyril Richardson, Chris Williams, Alex kupper
C: Manuel ramirez,Ryan jenson
Rg: Kraig Urbic, William Campbell, D.J morrell, Darryl Johnson
Rt: Seantrel Henderson
Not a bad line, though I could use more depth at the tackle positions, and I have a crap ton of guards. I think my RB's should do well behind these guys.
I have a QB picked out so if anybody picks him before I do, we gon' have problems.
Hey BmoreBird. I'll alternate with you ![]()
Why would you spend 2nd round pick on the complementary RB? I know they're flying of the board but I feel people are missing on some good talent on impulse.
Because Eddie Lacy got two concussions last year. I'd be comfortable with Duke as a starter for a few games.
Duke Johnson wasn't my target. (GRIM)...... But as a complimentary back to Lacy. I like him. He can be my Giovanni Bernard.
GO HURRICANES.
Give me awhile...
I'm here right now. It's business time.
*cue Flight of the Concords Song*
You're dead to meColeman is my top RB period. Beyond thrilled to have him.
When I tell people that I get the answer "Mexico"Pretty sure burying people alive is a serious crime.
Ok McClane.0, because it takes two men to make a trade.
Plane crashes on the U.S Mexico Border where do you bury the survivors?
even better. It'll be the Star Wars Prequels..Just don't make it like that second transformers movie.
More like he's getting a horse head. So, he's dead to you?
I demand to start a collusion with rmw10, T3hRaven and PaRayDise to get our revengence.
Dorsett would've given me a pure deep threat to compliment the all around game of Nelson and Cobb, and the physicality of Marshall. Hard running of Lacy would wear out a defense. With the best QB in the game. That would've been better than the 2013 Broncos weapon for weapon.
And Grim ruined it for me...
I traded Adams for a second rounder remember?I love how with Rodgers, Nelson, Lacy, Marshall and Adams it would have been Dorsett who made you unstoppable.
I have Cobb. Which further proves your point.
In a way yes.You took dorsett away from yourself?
