  1. LIAR. We all have no GF while you have a picture of your "supremely hot goddess" and have 2% body fat. Don't lie to us.
  2. As you see he's got biceps to spare
  3. Aren't you not allowed to have an opinion?
  4. So what you're saying is? No one fights like Humphrey No one bites like Humphrey No one blows up screens and breaks up like Humphrey For there's no man in town half as awesome? As a scheme fit he's a paragon You can ask BmoreBird22 and rmw. And they'll tell you who's team they'd prefer he'd be on?
  5. I actually thought we would wait until later and draft corner personally. I still would have rather taken Allen, but all in all Humphrey is very good when closing in on the ball and when the ball is in front of him. If he was the worst pick in this draft. Then we are in for a hell of a draft
  6. If we pulled Lamp and Elflein... I have no words as to how excited I'd be. Our interior would be set for the next half decade and the running game.....
  7. Nah. I get it. You're stoked about Humphrey. No shame in that. As much as I trashed the pick last night. It cam.. I mean could have been so much worse. Just fwiw though. You got your W. Now Ozzie needs to draft Butt and give me mine
  8. But Jimmy is your boy? How is he gonna feel?
  9. I'm pounding my fist on the table for Cooper Kupp... and Jake Butt of course, but I doubt we draft the latter. Not because SSR pointed him out. Kupp has been one of my boys since the beginning of the year. He plays tough like a Raven, is deceptively good after the catch, and has good hands, and is a good route runner. As worried as I am about our line. If Kupp is there at 47, I'll jump for joy
  10. For what it's worth. I think/hope we take another corner in the middle of the draft(a Kazee type). When Jimmy goes down we could use all the help we could get.
  11. You know. If we took a Fabian moreau, Chidobe Awuzie, or Quincy Wilson type tomorrow in round 2 I wouldn't be surprised or angry to be honest. Sadly with Jimmy being as injury prone as it is, it'd make sense to double dip. Also do something underrated that no one has really talked about. I'm pretty sure we've struggled against screens for a few of the past few seasons and Humphrey can defend against those like it's nobody's business. "Hes also really gonna need safety help because of his lack of skills in zone." Gee. If only we didn't have three top 15 ranked safeties to help up press Seriously. If we get a pass rusher there's a decent chance we have a top 3 defense
  12. I wouldn't say lack of ball skills in totality. I actually think that when Weddle and Webb leave/hang it up they Humphrey could do a damn good job playing S because of how good he is with the ball in front of him. And honestly given how Carr has been straight up torched in the past(I'm hoping that Carr from last season shows up), wouldn't surprise me if Humphrey has an iron fist(not the crappy show) on the starting job. Im not gonna lie. If Jonathan Allen and OJ Howard weren't there. You probably wouldn't have heard a peep from me. Sorry for being angry y'all... That said, going into next year it's more likely than not we have a good CB trio Jimmy Humphrey Young Three corners that can play the outside very well? I'll happily take that. Im very worried about the pass rush though. But this is a good edge class.
  13. I've been thinking about if they'd want to move Lamp to center like the Bears did with Whitehair last year. Which is a move that makes a lot of sense imo. I do think Lamp should play somewhere along the interior, even though he could hack it at tackle if we became desperate similar to a JC Tretter(who quietly has been a very good olinemen and has had to play LT). If we take Lamp I could honestly see us taking Nico siragusa or something later and us putting Lamp at C. As good as Yanda has played at RT in the past, I'd hope we would continue to play him at the position he's probably going into the hall of fame for lol.
  14. Maybe with this pick lol. But at least I like Humphrey going forward. I do think he's a starter by mid season and an effective one. Just hated the value there with guys like Allen on the board. That's all. Long-term this is solid. Im pissed off. But I'm standing by the team here
  15. I'd actually like him. only Bama prospect I didn't like this year was Robinson in the first. But in the second that's a good pick. That said, I'd hate it cause of the character concerns.
  16. ... First off. Bold. I like you, I really do. You're a great poster. And I actually agree with your first point. I think Mangold is a good move. Drafting a potential replacement is also smart. I also want Lewis to play RT. He really wasn't good at guard at all. But frankly. We need an oline. I know fans are hellbent on WRs... But that's not our problem. We don't only need to protect Joe, we need a line to get the run game going. I swear to god, if we do anything less than draft a good olinemen in the second round tomorrow, I'm going to go to the back of Boulder and sing to the high heavens as I die of alcohol poisoning. I hate Ozzie's plan for the oline. In fact, it sucks. I hope to hell we trade up for Lamp, or hell I'll take his man crush Robinson. We need good play on the oline more than ANYTHING. I like the defense going forward, and I think there are potential sleepers at the WR position in the third round that no one is considering. BUt I would like to see us draft multiple olinemen in this draft. I hate Nembot(even though he's a Colorado boy... Sko Buffs), and I don't trust Wesley. We don't have a center, and Lewis honestly was terrible at LG. I don't give two damns about the WR. Perriman should improve, and I think Maxx is going to surprise some people. Wallace still has his speed and I think we could find a guy later on. I'm sorry. I don't like the way this draft is going so far... And I LIKE Humphrey as a prospect. The offense needs work. Ozzie Newsome needs to realize that Flacco isn't freaking superman. He can't carry the team on his back alone. He needs to stop neglecting the damn offense like he always does. For the love of god. I've had it up to here with him personally. I think he's gone next year and we clean house.
  17. He's freakishly athletic yes, but not a good player. 0 motor, no passion, not a good technician. I wouldn't touch him until the fifth. Round 2 Players to watch Forrest Lamp Cam Robinson Tim Williams Ryan Anderson Chris Wormley(sadly.. I swear to god Ozzie. Don't you freaking dare). Cooper Kupp Zay Jones Dalvin Cook(YUP) Sidney Jones and of course.. Jake Butt Round Three Players to Watch Pat Elflein Isiah Ford Bucky Hodges(though I'm not a fan) Adarius Stewart Samaje Perine(or however you spell his damn name)
  18. Then Take OJ Howard, or David Njoku. Or something along the lines of it! There was better value on the board! We need playmakers. I'm more pissed off than anything that we YET AGAIN Neglect the offensive side of the ball. Joe isn't superman. He needs help. Mainly on the oline.
  19. I have to admit. Robinson in round two isn't a terrible pick. In round one I would have probably killed someone. Or have been "fed up with this world". If we go Malik McDowell..... It'll be worse than Robinson. I don't get everyone's obsession with him. He sucks. Sorry.
  20. When you get a guy who is as talented as Allen, I don't give a damn what position he plays. Allen is a future difference maker who provides interior pressure. And this is a deep CB class. Seriously. Words cannot describe how awful the value was. This isn't Ronnie Stanley, who was an elite prospect anyway regardless of what people though. Humphrey is a good prospect, but Allen was in our laps and we let him slide. And he's gonna make us regret it.
  21. So. I've let the pick sit... I'm doing draft grades. I'm going to be honest. I hate this pick. But I do not hate Marlon Humphrey . Marlon does a lot of things well. He's very good at breaking on the ball, he's got good instincts. He's a very good player. He was third rated corner, and frankly, I think he has a higher floor than most give him credit for. I think when Jimmy goes down, Humphrey becomes invaluable depth. I eventually think that by mid-season he could be a good starter. He's got a lot of things that I like. Likewise, he could eventually play safety since he's better going towards the ball than he is backpedalling. Overall. Marlon isn't the issue for me. My issue is passing up on Jonathan Allen. What the hell were we thinking? We trade away a damn good interior rusher when he was on his A game and have one fall right into our laps and we pass on him. Even with those shoulders, I do not understand that. Don't get me wrong. Marlon is more likely than not to become a good player in my eyes. But my god. Freaking Allen was there. Smh Ozzie. What are you doing? overall player grade: B. I think that by mid-season Humphrey gets the starting gig and does a good job. Overall Grade: F. You get a bonafida stud and pass on him. What was Ozzie thinking?
  22. I'm gonna cry tears of sadness and drink Peppermint Schnapps
  23. Please god no
  24. NO! JUST NO. Not gonna happen. Not at all. No thanks. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. nope Trade up for Lamp
  25. DAMNIT. Hell of a pick.
