  1. Kobe never had to go against a team that set the NBA wins record or never had to go against a team with a guy who's equally as unstoppable as Westbrook in Lebron, with a guy like him. Comparing the two is unfair. I'd take KD as well, but Westbrook is straight up unstoppable when he turns it on. That was evident several years ago vs. the Heat in the finals. I think that Curry's playstyle meshes better with Durant, but I don't really think that's the driving factor as to why he left. The Warriors had significantly more intrigue by having probably the two best pure shooters in the game with the second best defensive player and some good depth pieces. Exactly this. Russ has had his moments of pure crap in the clutch, but Kevin Durant was a big factor as to why the Thunder blew a 3-1 lead last season. He didn't show up for the final few games. Meanwhile, until games 6 and 7 of that series Westbrook was very good. Both have a tendency to play hero ball, and that costed them big time. I do think a Paul George would fit in very well in OKC. But I have to agree with you, why the hell would anyone want to go down to a team with almost nothing on it. The second and thir best players on the Thunder are Enes Kanter, great offensivley, can't play defense, and Steven Adams, literal polar opposite. Oladipo is a decent player but not good enough to win you a championship. If I don't get the love for anyone it's Harden. He doesn't try on defense, and I'm sure he leads the nba in total turnovers right now, and yet the media loves him for some reason. So much so that some pundits claim that he's better than a prime kobe or wade, when both would eat him alive. Furthermore, Harden has proven to shrink moreso than his two former OKC counterparts in big moments, in fact he dissapears entirely(remember the finals when he laid an egg?). Sorry. Westbrook had an all time great season. He deserves the MVP because he's the only reason they made the playoffs. Harden has a significantly better team around him with people who are very good scorers/shooters(Anderson, Gordon, Williams). It's basically all Westbrook in OKC. That's why he's getting the love.. Oh, and the second player in NBA history to average a triple double, and when you factor in pacing you could actually make a legit argument that it was a better season than Robertson's. Personally though, I wouldn't be surprised if Leonard wins it either given the season he's having.
  2. I'm agreeing with you. What tomfoolery is this. You must be reading my mind. Stop stealing my opinions you mooch
  3. He's an above average athlete with a good shooting touch and is good off the dribble. He's a future talent. The Kobe comparison are a bit much(if anyone's game is similar to Kobe that young it's actually Wiggins given that he's added a post-game to his offensive arsenal), but all in all, he could become a many time all star.
  4. The Jets Select Nate Isese, H-Back
  5. Yup. But Correa grew up in Hawaii. He was all the rage last time I went there
  6. The Webb deal is fantastic. There are several possibilities now. 1. We can move Jefferson down to ILB on nickle/dime packages while Webb plays safety. Allowing Jefferson to cover TEs(something he does very well), and having two good safeties over the top 2. Webb can play slot CB when Jimmy goes down. Tavon proved he's more than capable of holding his own on the outside. Webb provides much needed depth and veteran experience. 3. 3 safety sets could be a thing now. We use a third safety a lot in the rotation, and Webb would still be playing a lot. All in all I think it is safe to say we have the best safety core in the entire league. We need to go draft an edge rusher and I like the direction of the defense
  7. I've given this more thought... And. What the hell were we thinking? He was our best pass rusher last season and a good run defender as well. Inconsistent as all hell? I'll give you that. He's not good enough to be a #1 pass rusher, hell I don't see him as a #2, but he was our best interior pass rusher by far. And not to mention we gave a boatload of money to a run stuffer who plays 80% of the snaps and that's it? I've loved all the other moves except the two on the dline. Adding Tony Jefferson gives us an identity on the defensive side of the ball, adding Carr brings some stability. Retaining Webb gives us a lot of good depth and potentially helps out versatility wise. But it's one step forward and two steps back. It's a genius idea to trade away our best source of interior pressure for a move up in the draft while giving up a third rounder of our own(sarcasm). All the meanwhile we've esentially destroyed the trenches on both sides of the ball with an upcoming draft class that's honestly piss poor in terms of talent on both sides. Seriosuly, what the hell are we doing? I wasn't angry over the Boldin trade, I wasn't angry over Zuttah. But this pisses me off to no end because he's young, and I think we picked the wrong dlinemen to retain long-term. Jernigan is inconsistent, but when he's on, he's on. Sure, you could argue that Bronson, Henry, and Pierce might be more than capable replacements, but I'd rather have stability. Ozzie goes out and does a damn good job with the secondary, but does absolutely nothing to fix our pass rush, and fix our offensive lien. Rather, he pays the wrong guy in Brandon Williams when we had a more than capable replacement in the wings with Pierce, who we clearly value given that he's likely the one who's gonna replace Jernigan, and trades away the starting center, let's the RT walk away, and does NOTHING to fix either line. And I don't trust any of these damn draft prospects not named Forrest Lamp on the oline. Sorry, but I will not be surprised of Ozzie is canned next season: contreversial but true. I've had it up to here with him personally. I've like a few of his moves, but all in all he needs to get his head of his butt and fix these damn problems, rather than going out and retaining the wrong guy in Williams and neglecting to address our biggest need by far. Screw you Ozzie. This trade is horrible.
  8. Actually you're not on the list at all. I give you enough crap and actually don't hate you. You're getting your own "Screw Andrew" Thread
  9. I like you Maniac, which is why I'm going to roast you last. jk. You're cool. There's a select 8 that are going down
  10. I am planning on going on a tirade against the forum's worst on the last day. As many are I'm sure. I'm not planning on logging in ever again so why the hell not? I agree. Let's do this damn thing.
  11. Never seen it but I have heard of it.
  12. Young honestly flashed CB #1 ability last year. There's a very real chance he becomes a top 15 guy. And don't give me the size crap. Brandon Flowers was a top OUTSIDE CB for years at 5'9 and did well vs. guys who are 6'3+. Same goes for Jason Verertt who was great last season. Even made a pro bowl.. Young plays bigger than his size, and did very well after mostly playing the outside last season. I know fans want a bigger corner, but Young is the real deal on the outside. I do think Ramsey has top 5-10 potential at the position, but if the team views Young as a potential #1 CB, then he will be given the same responsibilities as Ramsey. Which btw, they might. Young is that good
  13. The New York jets select Sefo Liufau, QB
  14. Remind me on the last day of the forum being open and I will make a joke about this. I swear.
  15. @52520Andrew's doing. Not mine.
  16. Name one old school smash mouth defense in the NFL right now. Thanks to the change in the rules we can't exactly do that. We got the closest thing to a smash mouth player with Jefferson, and he's more than good enough in coverage to get away with it. And dude, Webb was a top 15 safety in the league last year and really came on in the second half of the season. Given that there are 64 starting safeties, 15 is pretty damn good. And he'd be our THIRD GUY.
  17. LIAR. YOU TURNED THE FORUM AGAINST ME
  18. Was gonna say. He is basically fake news
  19. I don't like @52520Andrew. He's coarse, rough, and irritating and posts everywhere
  20. Dad: Why did Darth Vadar not go down to the beach and kill them himself? Me: BECAUSE HE HATES SAND!
  21. Easily the best star wars prequel.
  22. This is your daily reminder that you suck and ruined my life. Why did you make Romo retire?

  23. Well after my April fools mock I figured I'd put out something serious. Round One: Forrest Lamp, OG. Forrest Lamp is as good of a guard prospect as I've scouted. With reports coming out that we are considering moving Lewis to RT(or C, but honestly I'd rather have him at RT) I think Lamp is on our board, and he projects best at guard. Stanley gets some help on the left side of the line, meanwhile we get a potential future all pro at guard. Not a bad get at all even if I'd rather have an edge rusher. I could also see us draftin Ramcyzk. Either way I'd be happy. Round Two: Ryan Anderson, Edge, Alabama I hate missing out on an edge rusher in the first round, but this class is so loaded at the position that we can actually afford to do this. Anderson is a jack of all trades, master of none. Meaning he fits our defense like a glove. An elite pass rusher? Hell no. Good successor to Suggs? Potentially. He could easily become a guy who gets 10+ sacks a year given his football IQ and athleticism. I like his game a lot and he's tailor made for the defense. Remember, our defense fared very well last year without having a legit #1 guy. We get a guy in Anderson who could become a #1 guy, and he's an immediate upgrade. It's a pick that makes sense. Round 3: Pat Elflein, C As far as NFL draft prospects go, you can't go wrong with Pat Elflein at Center. He has problems, some in which are bad, but overall given his high football IQ and obvious mean streak, at worst he could be a decent starting center at the NFL level. He could be a plug and play player from day one, and fits the mold that we are looking for along the offensive line. Round Three Comp: Jake Butt, TE Anyone who knows me at all knows I love Jake Butt and I cannot lie(you other brothers can't deny). He's a literal tight end, his last name is butt. But even with his injury, I see him developing into a very good pro. I know people will be claimoring for a WR, but Butt has no weakness in his game other than his average athleticsm. But regardless of which he's still good enough after the catch and a good blocker. Since we are moving Boyle to FB, and I don't trust Pitta, Waller, or Watson, and Crockett at all, I think a #2 TE is in order. Butt has #1 potential, and he might be our #2. The Harbaugh connection is strong. Also.. "Hehehehe. Bottom" Round Four: Ryan Switzer, WR. Confession: I like Perriman and Wallace going forward. I think both of them are good outside options. What we lack is an underneath guy. Enter Ryan Switzer. A shifty little guy who has good hands, and deceptive after the catch ability. Combine that with his good route running, and his ability to find zones, and you're talking about a guy who could have a Cole Beasley type impact, which has proven to be a very good thing. I don't trust Campanaro to stay healthy. Likewise, Switzer can become the guy on punt returns going forward. Round Five: Randall Goforth, DB Want a guy who can play either CB or safety? He's your man. We use that a lot, and frankly after a Jimmy Smith injury I think that we could use a guy like Goforth. I trust Tavon Young to move up to the outside and Goforth could easily fill in as a third safety, or as a slot CB. Either way, he helps the defense. Round Six: Ejuan Price, OLB I have a feeling that a lot of teams are gonna pass up on the guy due to the depth in this class/his size. But who cares about that? The dude can play. He has issues in the run game, which shouldn't be a problem, and can put pressure on the QB. If we can resign a Dumervil type and let him develop, Price could be a player going forward. Anyway, hope y'all like it. Or not. Either way screw you, I have one more coming anyway on draft day.
  24. I'm currently of the mood of the father who is too angry at his kid to even talk to him. Seriously, this is a horrible move.
  25. I am banning you from the game you jerk
