  1. Actually hearing something similar from La Canfora eases my nerves. that dude is fake news
  2. It makes me more worried for the Cam Robinson stuff. I think foster is going to be an excellent player but I initially thought we'd pass on him due to the concerns. But if Ozzie gives Foster a pass, he's likely to give one to Robinson as well. Only because of Alabama. Ozzie Newsome is a hypocrite if this is the case
  3. I love Rueban Foster. But if he's okay with his character concerns.... then. Well. I guess Alabama players can do no wrong
  4. Players I would LOVE at 16: Derek Barnett- my favorite player for us. Instant pass rushing upgrad Hasoon Reddick- Modern day defensive player. See above. Jamie Collins type of an impact. Forrest Lamp- Another JC Tretter. Could slot him to play at C, LG, or possibly RT if we are desperate. But his best fit is the interior. Players I'd really like Rueban Foster- STUD. I know ILB isn't as important when you already have a good one, but he'd make the middle of the field virtually impossible to run against/throw into. Mike Williams- I think Davis is a better fit for the team short term, but that Williams has a larger ceiling. Not quite as good as AJ Green, but similar impact. Corey Davis- See above. Except more fluid. #1 WR at the NFL level from day one Ryan Ramcyzk- I'd hate slotting Lewis at G(I'm starting to think that he's been overrated by the fanbase. He really wasn't that good), but Ramcyzk is a potential pro bowl on the right side of the line. "Meh" Marlon Humphrey- I don't think he's as good as others do on here. But I wouldn't hate him. John Ross- Good player, injuries scare me though. OJ Howard/David Njoku- Hell of a player, but given that we've invested a lot in recent years at TE I'd be slightly dissapointed if we went TE in the first. That said, I think these two are future studs so I wouldn't be mad. Players I'd hate Malik McDowell- Worst pick we could make. Overrated. Physical gifts are there, but he's not a good football player. Would make the Jernigan trade even worse. Cam Robinson- No doubt in my mind that we are drafting this guy today sadly. He's a lousy fit at tackle, good fit at guard, but since the team (foolishly) sees Lewis as a guard, he'd play tackle. I'd feel awful for Joe if we drafted him. And I have 0 doubts in my mind we will. Dalvin Cook- No chance we draft him due to character concerns. I think he's a future superstar, but given what he did to a dog, Hell no. Overall. I'd like most of the prospects that are likely to be there. However, we have to PRAY that the Colts take Robinson and save us from ourselves.
  5. Then we draft him no questions asked and laugh our way to the bank. He'd be an upgrade over Jernigan in the long run and a potential stud to build around.
  6. Matt Miller, Mayock, and DJ are my go tos. All three could honestly be GMs, even if they have their fair share of misses. If I need any advice from a person I know, I generally look @-Truth-'s way. I don't trust Kiper or McShay and Walterfootball and Charlie are freaking terrible
  7. My money is on OJ Howard and Cam Robinson. Possibly Ryan Ramzcyk, but Ozzie will go Bama. I'd like 2/3. then again. I am broke for good reason so I shouldn't be putting money anywhere
  8. Time to win this, aka not score a single point Cam Robinson(Screw you Ozzie) Forrest Lamp OJ Howard Marlon Humphrey Eddie Jackson Takk Mckinley Jake Butt(I hope) Ejuan Price Channing Stribling Derek Barnett Chidobe Awuzie Corey Davis Tim Williams Ryan Anderson Dion Dawkins Taylor Moton Cooper Kupp Mike Williams Isiah Ford Rueben Foster Carlos Henderson Hasoon Reddick Fabian Moreau Tyus Bowser Jahad Thomas Pat Elflein Shaquille Griffin Chase Rouiller Randall Goforth Nico Siragusa TJ Watt Sidney Jones 33. Jose Jose(joke)
  9. I hope they draft Trubisky at this point tbh. I would not mind facing him twice a year at all. Just watch. Myles Garret will pull a Joe Thomas... Have a hall of fame career but no one will care because he's a member of the Browns
  10. That’s right guys. I’m doing a full not one, but TWO full rounds. Why? Because screw these forums for closing. That’s why. Rules. There will be no trades (for any other teams except us) I will not intentionally sabotage any teams The Ravens must draft Jake Butt If you want me to justify something I will Round 1 Pick 1. Dallas Cowboys- Tim Williams, Edge 29 (61). Green Bay Packers-Ryan Anderson, Edge 30 (62). Pittsburgh Steelers-Chris Godwin, WR 31 (63). Atlanta Falcons-David Sharpe, OT 32 (64). Carolina Panthers from New England Patriots- Carl Lawson, Edge So let’s get into the skinny Round One: Forrest Lamp, OG Yes. I have the Titans trading up a few spots. They think that we are going to take their target(John Ross) and we call them on their bluff, and get their second third rounder in the back-end of the third round. Leaving us with three third rounders. A good trade, because we end up with our guy anyway. You all know my thoughts on Lamp. He’s an Ozzie Newsome pick. Blue collar, works hard, smart. He could even step in at center, which could potentially give us an elite interior as soon as this year. Lamp is a guy I love. Other picks we could make. Derek Barnett- My favorite prospect for us. But I have a feeling that we are going offensive line. Corey Davis- if he falls here he might be BPA by default. Mike Williams- see above Cam Robinson-.... OZZIE I SWEAR TO GOD. Round Two: Takkarist Mckinley, Edge Takk is a freak athlete, who might fall because he’s a bit of a one year wonder. Remember how we all hated the Correa pick because a majority of his sacks were effort sacks? Yeah, Mckinley’s work ethic on the field might surpass that entirely. And has significantly better pass rush ability, with a multitude of moves to work with. He gives us a guy who puts in a ton of effort, and with that work ethic, combined with good hand usage, I think that he could become a damn good edge rusher for us at the pro level.... But wait. There’s more. Other options Sydney Jones- Would love him here Either Bama edge rusher- Ozzie... I’d be okay with these two. Fabian Moreau- Damn good cover corner with room to grow Jake Butt- A round earlier than he’s projected to go? Why not? Speaking of.... Round Three: Jake Butt, TE Are you surprised? If you were congrats. You must be the dumbest person alive.... Or Winchester. “Jake Butt doesn’t have that fast twitch muscle. Fat Butt(LOL, could you imagine?) and Fat Maxx!" I love Maxx going forward as the #1. I don’t trust Pitta as much, Boyle is moving to FB, and Crockett Gillmore got hurt as I was typing this. Anyway, Kim Kardashian(get it?) here is a classic catch and turn TE who’s got very reliable hands, is a good blocker, and a good route runner. I like Jake Butt and I cannot lie. You other posters can’t deny... Round Three: Shaquille Griffin, CB, Sorry rmw. I’m taking a page from your book and I wrote this on April 5th. Why did you hack my google doc? Smh Anyway. Griffin does a lot of things well, and is a jack of all trades, master of none. He’s not gonna be a star, but he’d be great depth.. and yes, that is a picture of Jake Butt beating him. I couldn't resist Round Three: Isaiah Ford, WR Ford gets a bad rap. The damn combine utterly ruined him and he doesn’t deserve it. He seems like he could be a much better version of Chris Moore. Which is a useful commodity as Moore isn’t a bad route runner. Just be happy that people put too much stock in the combine and the 40. I think he could be a day one contributer on the offense. Thank you Titans Round Four: Chase Roullier, C SCREW YOU RMW... You had to bring light to a player I’ve had under the radar. I made this mock weeks ago and frankly, you have to come and ruin my fun! Let’s talk about a mauler. Remember how I said Lamp could play center? Yeah.. About that. I think what we do is sign Mangold anyway, and then put Lamp at G. Which is the right move. Roullier is an absolute mauler, and it would do us some good to give a guy like him a year to develop. He won’t contribute immediately, but I think he could be a franchise center going forward. This would also force the coaching staff to kick Lewis out to RT, which I think he’d fare nicely anyway. Round Five: Tedric Thompson, S “But Lost, we’ve invested a lot at the safety position already. Why are we drafting one”. Because screw you, that’s why. That’s why. And this is a total homer pick. But I really like Thompson’s game. With Webb and Weddle as his teachers he could become a very valuable rotational piece going forward, or he could become the guy who succeeds them in a few years. He has good instincts in coverage, and frankly this would be a best player available pick. Round Six: Jahad Thomas, RB/WR “But Lost, We have pressing needs at DT, and ILB.” Screw that. Past 2 seasons we’ve draft Carl Davis, Bronson Kaufausi, Willie Henry, and have picked up Michael Pierce in UDFA. We’re fine there. And we always seem to find a good #2 ILB whether it’d be Jameel McClain, or Darnell Ellerbe, or finding Daryl Smith in FA. And I like Correa at ILB. Meet, Jahad Thomas. The homeless man’s version of Christian McCaffery. He has a rare cutting ability and can make video game moves. He can also fill in kick returns, play slot WR, and be a good third down back for when Danny Woodhead gets injured. He’s a guy I think could have a use on the offense, and frankly we could use that. Oh, and s/o to @-Truth- for pointing me in the direction of Thomas And that my friends(and @rmw10 I did not copy you I swear) is my final mock before the draft. Coming a little ahead of schedule? Oh hell yes. I’m busy. Hope y’all liked it. If not, either way screw you.
  11. I intentionally want to feel miserable if we draft Robinson
  12. WHY OZZIE WHY? "Lost come out of there" In a few minutes *refrains from finishing to avoid getting banned*
  13. And I will be drinking Peppermint Schanpps and calling for Ozzie's head.
  14. It's a need to know basis. All will be revealed
  15. Watch the Browns take Jake Butt #1 overall
  16. Davis. That dude might be good enough to be a #1 WR almost immediately.
  17. This statement would be fine if we didn't just trade away our starting center for absolutely nothing, and didn't let our RT go. We have 2 good offensive linemen.. And then Lewis who sucks at guard, but would be a good RT. I'm sorry. I'd take an elite oline all day with rock solid weapons(which I think we draft a WR in this draft in like the second round so yeah), every day over an elite WR trio with a crap offensive line like we have know. As for grooming late round olinemen. We can get them to be good depth pieces(which lets face it, Urschel and Jensen are VERY good depth pieces), but not starters. Oline and pass rusher are our biggest needs BY FAR.
  18. I've seen idiots state that he was never that good to begin with. That's when I'll draw the line. If Ozzie newsome could enter the hall of fame a second time as an executive he likely would. But his decline began shortly before the SB with Osemele being the only good pick from that draft. Don't get me wrong, his career as a whole has been beyond excellent. Otherwise, I've hated the way this offseason has gone outside of signing Jefferson and Webb. The Jernigan trade was beyond moronic, as was giving Williams all of that money. He wants to replace a proven, good RT when Cam Robinson(potentially) who would suck there(that said, he could be a very good guard). The offseason started out great. Jefferson was a great signing. I would not be surprised if he made a few pro bowls here. But then we shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly with the Williams and Jenigan stuff. Robinson would be icing on the cake for just a crap offseason.
  19. If we do I hope he's at guard. Not RT. that being said if the unthinkable happens(we move Stanley to RT and Robinson at LT. Which is impossible) my rage will be incalculable.
  20. He would excel at guard but I have this horrible feeling that we'd put him at RT. Which would be lousy.
  21. Why Ozzie Why? ;). im praying this is a smokescreen given Cam's off the field issues
  22. My thoughts exactly. He's got so many problems. And yet he's still in play because of Alabama. Ill be the first to say it. If we draft Robinson I will call for Ozzie to be fired. It'd be a lousy pick
  23. Looks like I'm drinking on Thursday. Damnit Ozzie. Robinson? Smh
  24. Wait I took Dalvin Cook over Fournette? I've wasted my life. I have failed this city.
  25. @Cville-Raven
