I wish him all the best but lets not get to far ahead of each other we want to succeed not to fail in attempt to live up to a billing that wasn't meant for him we want him to be a team player do what he can and what he can't we accept. Serigo kindle was in the same predicament we had big hopes and thought he was our top pass rusher before the incident but I digress lets see him develop first before he becomes another sergio talented but never quite made it and kill the wr 1 talk he needs to prove he can be consitent and stay healthy like torrey
Careful with unrealistic expectations reminds me of our former first round pick sergio kindle we all had hoped he would be the best pass rusher in the nfl to be on the other side of suggs so before we annoint a kid with experience as a god send let him play with no pressure treat him like torrey was raw developing and good at the deep ball no more no less until he gets more time
at first i had to think but now i understand the move this is the last year of forsett's contract he signed 3 years ago and lorenzo's contract is up next season and magee is on the practice squad so basically there are only two runnings back under contract with the exception of richardson and now dixon
until the defense is back to the way it is was there's no way to compete getting wrs dont make up for the fact of not getting int's not forcing turn overs not keeping opponets out of the endzone we need this defense to be scary again look at seattle none of those wide recievers are even mentioned as number 1 or 2 or whatever instead their defense and wilson spreading the ball to whoever is open makes a diffrence think about that
Pittsburgh all the way tired of losing to cincy need to hold their losing playoff skills to continue
Great oppourtunity to get hargreeves III or ramsey or even joey bosa
yeah i typed a little fast i meant victor cruz in my next sentence after hurns
Its disgraceful that some of you want to lose it doesnt show ravens culture and sounds like you could be snoop and steelers fans. with that being said let me go over some details that put the draft position into perspective Allen hurns the wr that kicked our butt was undrafted out of the university of miami victor before his injury undrafted made a name for himself and was considered a top notch guy now johnny football who was drafted in the top10 and has a 2-4 record in two years as a starter justin gilbert a top notch cb prospect taken 6th overall by cleveland and has made little to no impact at all and one more example Darrius heyward bay a top pick by oakland and has done very little in the last few years with the exception of being in pittsburgh this year. my point is position is nice to have but very rare does it affect anything in truth we can get better picks at the lower level of the first round like teddy bridgewater because its all about the talent not the numerial position so put these names in perspective before you turn ur back on winning moment is always nice and its always hard to start from a down note but when your two positives it carries futher into next season to want to do more
well maybe we can change that fortune not just this year but with the draft in april and get a draft pick that can really shake that bengals offense up every single year perhaps dare i say jalen ramsey or perhaps even joey bosa
Its ridiculous to think perriman will start regardless he hasnt earned it and mainly his speed is the only attribute so number 3 would suit him just fine until he earns to rise up so bad mouthing kamar is really classless
makes me smile and that approval for pete carroll really shows alot about buck's potential
never try to question ozzie's methods yes he may have been a lil early with the perriman pick and perhaps sammie coates or stefon diggs would have been better. however i like to see more of jeremy in hindsight he reminds me of a younger dez bryant the way his body is and perhaps if he can develop into steve smiths successor and along with the tight ends and if perriman ever develops outside of being a speed threat we could be so much more i like it
Its just a thought but i honestly assume they never knew about perriman's genetic knee defect during the drafting process until his injury in camp and i think if they did he probably would have been a lesser pick
It thats pressure we should have used that same principle as the 49ers and used extra blockers it would have given joe time to see those open wideouts over the last few games because ppl want to blame the recievers when in actuality its the oline cant hold off the pressure for a easy touch down
I agree with Fastynart the thing is i always mike mayock is full of hot air you could tell perriman wasnt a first round wide reciever by looking at the teams that passed on him needed a speed guy in the first round vikings bears raiders steelers and the jets among others all passed even the broncos took a lesser receiver who is now performing well behind sanders so maybe he's worth a pick but he should have been atleast 3rd round because now we know why everyone passed and more than likely we should took shane ray
Ok this is ridiculous number 1 its all about scheme darian stewart when he was here he was always in the wrong place at the wrong time and didnt improve until down the stretch as for ihedigbo the thing is we want matt elam to develop and with a veteran safety in will hill there was no need just like josh bynes release
Those are the kind of guys u just dont draft because u never know about their fire until they were put down remember sss was thought more as a returner with no possibility of contributing right away which is what his draft analysis said and anquan was similar everyone knew about larry fitzgerald and they never thought anquan would be more than the number 2 to larry until he started outplaying him and the common thing is these guys were highly rated in fact they werent considered first round so because of that if u want to draft a guy with fire like these to u need to draft late and see true hidden potential to prove the media wrong and to prove they are the best thats the only way you can draft great guys like them
Despite whats been said i think Ian rapport is right perriman is out indefinately at this point if u think about it because this injury is moving to slow just needing a few weeks to heal and still no update
wow after reading these comments i see why the guys are pissed and so am i because ive seen all these receivers with the exception of waller have success in this league and the fact you call yourselves ravens fans just because they dont have spectacular numbers or high quality stats you doubt them. however i dont because i know and have seen when given the opportunity they are amazing and different receivers that can give us all sorts of match up advantages im gonna tell u a quote that always makes me think of the team "same thing thats makes you laugh will make you cry" that was by ray lewis and the more u doubt these guys the more motivation they have to prove not just u but the league wrong in the long run
True i agree kamar should get some love he stepped up big and i think he will continue to do so the meme wasnt mocking the players its was proving a point that kaepernick has strong accuracy issues down the field when trying to hit torrey while joe his deep ball is what he does best which would have meant both are probably better being here. and finally on perriman had we not drafted him first round more than likely he would have fallen into the second because after us and pitt no one needed a wr so that tells u all u need to know on perriman
at this point i gotta say waller is more of a special teams player
The fact that some of you call yourself fans and have no faith is terrible. for years this has been a team with an up and down offense then a safe or sometimes over aggressive defense but my point is this yes we are 0-2 however though is this was in the middle of the season we wouldnt even acknowledge it which is weird alone but in anycase the things i'm seeing giving cincy the win talking about their defense talent and all this other stuff its sickening you want the truth ill tell u something that defense is just as leaky as ours if not more so and u know how i'll tell you most of their db's with the exception of kerpatrick are over 30 next pac man jones just like steve smith can have a tendency to let his emotions get him in trouble plus their front four isnt anything we havent handled before when we won 44 to 13 and on offense dalton still makes bad decisions aj green only has 3 tds against us here and that was without going against jimmy and when u look at that no other wr for them has had sucess her plus we havent allowed 100 yr rusher here since eddie lacy of the packers so have faith we always find away thats why we are an nfl team
Perriman has mental focus issues but torrey never did he always could track the deep ball we saw that his rookie season half the time joe flacco does overthrow because i mean this man can flick his wrist for an easy 70 yards without setting his feet so you cant blame torrey because of joes arms strength because when he needed torrey the most torrey would be there
Ozzie knows what he's doing its been that way for years the ravens offense has been ascending since 2011 when we finished 12-4 since then we have gone 12-4 10-6 8-8 10-6 again and the point is our offense has to have consistency you can't all blame the wrs for example ppl bashing ed dickson here were the same ones supporting him then once he gets a thigh injury and has a bad season ppl make up lame excuses about losing confidence when all he needed was to get healthy as we saw in carolina next for all of u down on doss he proved his worth when he was brought back he was the best returner since jacoby that we ever had and when he needed to step up he did and that was admirable even when we let him go and now the criticism about the wideouts we have now are even more rediculous sss is a veteran that has burnt more young corners and vet's deep than any other in the leauge marlon before sss was here came on strong especially in the redzone and if he continues like in the alanta game he will be fine and finally it wasnt to long ago we were calling him a younger anquan boldin because of his big catches and moving the chain on 3rd down
so u guys should be ashamed and i only wish ur loyality in proven commodities were bigger than faith in an unproven guy like perriman or even camp to some degree and i like em both

Its true crockett is right we were fine last year and we will be ok this year its ironic bc like ozzie said he brought in watson to help the young guys learn how to avoid injuries but for him to be injured on the first play was not what any expected. However now that crockett is healthy and max may come back first I think they would fill the void of one and 2 respecitively while pitta heals and both waller and boyle are suspended and daniel will head to waivers and hopefully ps
