Some outlets are stating he is nursing a sore shoulder and Jensen would be the next man up
If true that might possibly explain the poor play thus far... no point in rushing him back.
If Zuttah decides not to play Sunday we could hardly be worse off than we have been in the first two games. If Harbs decides to bench him in favor of one of the young guys it's certainly worth a try.
We could have had Ramsey with our first pick and Jack with our second... instead we seem to have wasted our second and third picks. At least Stanley looks like a keeper so the draft won't be a total bust. Our 4th round also looks promising thus far. The gem seems to be Pierce... hard to believe this guy went undrafted.
Watching the OL play... the key to the running game... it looks like a good bit of the problem lies with our center. tough to run when the center gets consistently beaten. Maybe try Urschel?
The home game last year against McCown was, without doubt, the low point of the Raven's 20 year history. I think our boys may feel the same way and have plans to do something to erase that debacle.
Our "D" looks like a playoff caliber unit. Our "O" has some work to do but should be looking better by the time we get to the tough part of our schedule. Biggest disappointment to me was our new returner who hurt our field position every time he touched the ball. Sure hope he can shake some rust off soon.
That real problem is that several weak drafts have left the team without the usual depth. This year's draft (except for the 2nd and 3rd rounds) looks better. You can't build a team without help from the draft.
Lewis seems to be the better run blocker... Urschel the better pass blocker. I guess it will depend on Trestman's game plan. Lewis seems to have the greater upside... Urschel the better versatility. Either should be solid.
Cutting Forsett a bit of a surprise but a solid move. The Ravens have younger and cheaper backs who have looked better. Like the article points out there are more moves to come. Cutting Butler is more of a head scratcher.
So far it appears the Ravens have made no attempt to extend Williams... can't tell if they have given up but it looks like another KO situation in the minds of the FO.
