  1. They are truly confident, confident that they will get torched!
  2. If Smith can't go against the Squealers we are in big trouble.
  3. You are making a funny... right?
  4. Another bad signing by the FO. Mr. B needs to take a hard look at our decision process during the off season.
  5. Jimmy Smith is playing well when he is in there... if his most recent injury is serious we are in big trouble against the Squealers. We really need some more depth at CB... poor Jimmy can not stay healthy for any length of time.
  6. This is a big game in many respects... especially for a potential wild card spot. The division winner will be determined by the outcome of the second Squealers game. If Joe keeps playing like the pre mega-contract Joe, we may just run the table.
  7. The loss of the Gronk is big... now if they can just keep Eddleman under control...
  8. Watching T-Sizzle throughout his career has been a true pleasure. A consummate professional who has fun playing the game... more power to him. One more thing... if Suggs can put a big hit on Brady early in the game to get him complaining, it will go a long way towards the Ravens controlling the game.
  9. If Joe wakes up and plays like he did before his mega-contract we should win going away.
  10. The media has begun to write about Harbs being on the hot seat if the Ravens miss the playoffs again this year citing his lack of leadership. I for one hope and believe that this is not correct. He has been a steady leader for his entire tenure and it would be wrong to hold him responsible for poor QB play and some bad draft picks and contracts given out by the FO.
  11. If we make the play-offs it will have to be in spite of Joe...
  12. No doubt the offense has been our weak link all season. Our center has often played poorly. Our offensive line is different each week due to injuries. Our QB is ranked 24th in the league (up at least from 29th) per PFF. I believe the penalties often arise from frustration and from trying to protect a QB who holds the ball too long and has trouble with his progressions. Our QB has the highest average salary of any QB in the NFL over the life of his contract (per the Cheat sheet) but seems disinterested in the game at times. Regardless of how this year ends the FO needs to take a hard look at how the offense is put together in terms of salary cap space vs productivity.
  13. Even with a very good defense the offense we have can't get over .500. Joe is running out of excuses.
  14. We certainly need a tight end who blocks well. He also showed he was a solid receiver last year. Let's hope he's got his head is on straight now!
  15. Joe probably had his best game of the season... that said, it seemed like Dak just wanted it more than Joe.
  16. No doubt Ray owes his second ring to Joe... there is also no doubt that Joe's level of play has never been the same since he signed that mega-contract. I'm guessing Ray is offering some constructive criticism in the hopes it will spark greater effort out of Joe this Sunday and going forward.
  17. That's one of the great thing about T Sizzle... he has fun with football.
  18. Whether the glass is half full or half empty the Ravens have a chance next week against the Cowboys to put themselves into a legitimate position to get to the playoffs. Despite their record they are beatable. I think we will likely know then whether we have a contender or a pretender.
  19. Chalk up another good game for the "D". It's hard to believe our offense is this bad.
  20. This is big game... probably our best chance to salvage something out of this season.
  21. This was easy to predict... question is who made this call?
  22. It's nice to read something that I been thinking and saying from someone else. I would also throw in the bad contacts that have put the Ravens in Salary Cap Hell for years to come. Looking back in Ravens history the Ravens should have Dilfer'ed Joe after the Super bowl and used the money on the O-line. It worked for Trent & Jamal. Just maybe we might be better off in "salary cap hell"... that is to rid ourselves of overpaid and under performing players and take a shot on some young, hungry newcomers?
