  1. Nice move... shows the organization has heart and class.
  2. Stanley beating out a healthy Monroe by opening day seems to be a stretch... I think they both start in the season opener.
  3. Keeping Monroe and starting Stanley out in KO's spot makes the most sense for '16. That would be consistent with Ravens history...
  4. Read the Mile Preston article about this years draft. Sadly it's hard to argue with his premise and his conclusion..
  5. Looks like a good pick up, a class act... too bad he won't be available for two years.
  6. Only one CB??? I sure hope Ozzie has a plan!
  7. This guy should be a great pick... after he spends a year or so in the weight room.
  8. I would say Ozzie is rolling the dice big time... after some sub-par drafts we need to get it right this year. I have to think he knows what he is doing... sure hope so.
  9. With Jack and Spence on the board??? Ozzie sure went out on a limb on this one. I sure hope it works out for the Ravens.
  10. Was hoping for Bosa or Tunsil... I guess time will tell.
  11. Norman is very effective in zone coverage... with a ferocious pass rush. That would describe lots of CBs.
  12. Let's hope we solidify the OL so that Joe has time to pass (and stays off the DL).
  13. If the Ravens can solidify their OL... and if Suggs comes back in shape and motivated we should be in for a good year. With that said Tunsil looks like the best case scenario. If he's gone there doesn't seem to be a clear best case scenario... maybe Bosa?
  14. Too bad Boyle put the Ravens in a position where they had to sign a somewhat pricey free agent at tight end. In the event (however unlikely) Pita makes a real comeback it looks even worse. Watson is a class act and hopefully won't get lost in the shuffle.
  15. Richardson is another low-risk gamble that might just pay off. I can't figure why the Ravens are bothering with West though.
  16. The two most likely scenarios are that either he will bust and not make the roster... or he will excel and become the starter in short order. Let's hope for the latter.
  17. Another low risk gamble by Ozzie that could pay off big. Time will tell. It would seem to pretty well rule out signing Elliot, however.
  18. Last season ended when Suggs went down. There are no guarantees, let alone the likelihood, that he will be coming back anything like the old Suggs. Everyone rates Bosa as the best edge rusher in the draft... seems like a natural selection if Ramsey, Tunsil and Jack are gone.
  19. There is still a very good chance someone will want to jump ahead of SF to grab that second QB. LA was probably afraid Dallas would grab one at #4. If not, the ravens still may be sitting pretty to clean up by trading back.
  20. I think the key to this years Ravens can be summed up in two questions... Does Suggs come back healthy and motivated? and (2) do we put together a solid OL. If the answer to those is both yes we are looking good.
  21. The Ravens went way out on a limb to sign Pitta long term for big dollars after the first hip injury. Fate was not kind to either Pitta or the Ravens. Let's not make the same mistake again.
  22. I think there is an excellent chance someone will want to jump ahead of SF to grab a QB. That might give us the opportunity to get rich... in draft picks.
  23. No doubt, this is Ozzie's opportunity to restore some of the luster to his reputation. Kudos in advance for all the hard work his team puts into evaluating the field. If, on the other hand, the ravens whiff again it might be time for some soul searching.
  24. Bosa or Buckner would fit the best player available formula... Bosa more of a position of need as well. A tougher question is if all of the top defensive players are gone by the time we get on the board? Can't see a LT just to create more dead money by dumping Monroe.
